I checked out this speedway after not being to a quarter-mile racetrack in many years. They have two admissions. $20 if you want to sit in the small bleachers to the east, or $40 if you want to walk around anywhere on the track and be around the cars and drivers. I opted for the $40 admission. (It was $40 for me and my buddy, total... per car). They gave us wristbands to indicate we paid more. This was on a Wednesday night so it was more like grudge matches where anyone could race. To spice up the action they had some Brighton Police cruisers racing and a jet car called Hocus Pocus. The Brighton Police were unbelievably slow (I think the captain told them not to go over 80 mph because they never did.) And the jet car was unbelievably FAST and LOUD. I was blown away! What was also enjoyable was all the sleeper cars that raced. A small white Tesla, an old GMC Jimmy, a white pickup truck with a camper on the back, a newer blue pickup, a charcoal grey Corvette, a black Jeep Cherokee, and a silver compact car. All of these blew away their competition. The silver compact only lost to a RAIL by tenths of a second! There were the late '60s early '70s muscle cars. They held their own against some of the newer muscle cars. And then there were the modified street cars that needed parachutes and one or two "funny" cars. With all the unexpected outcomes I saw, I don't think I've said, "WOW!" that many times since the last time I visited a quarter-mile track! This place has a concession stand behind the top row of the $40 bleachers. The food is a little pricey, but that's expected. The hot dog was a jumbo and the fries were good. There is also a souvenir shop next to the concession. TIPS: Bring some kind of ear protection, a seat cushion, and bug spray. The cars are LOUD! The bleachers are metal with some grooves in them so after an hour or two, you're going to wish you had a cushion to sit on. And we were there after sunset, around 8 pm the mosquitos came out. read more

*Christmas In Color* Review Such a festive way to start the holidays with a drive thru animated light show. The lights are choreographed with music, broadcasted from your AM radio. Santa and his elves sing to holiday tunes from Bing Crosby to The Jonas Brothers. It was such a treat to enjoy from the comfort of our vehicle. Plus, we lucked out to have gone on a rather fabulous fall evening. Purchase tickets online, which in turn reserves your drive thru time. We were 30min early and ticket takers were very ok with that. I highly recommend going the VIP route. It allows your vehicle to bypass the GA line to go straight up to the entry. Also included is a goodie bag with 2 light batons, 2 light bulb necklaces, candy treats and diffraction glasses. Save a few more dollars by going to Groupon (by the time i used a discount code, i ended up paying 50% less). Buy early as many weekends are filling up/selling out fast! Traffic is a continuous flow so allow about 25 min to drive thru the show. read more

Fun activity at night. Seven of us in an SUV? HALF HOUR of fun! There was no wait for us. I think I lucked out and chose the right time of 8 pm. It was $27/car. When you order your Tix pick your time and show up a bit early to line up. You will be directed what to get you get to the location. Will I do it again? Probably not. What got me to go was the attention similar to the fire to a month. It's that bright shiny lights from our home that was attractive. I had to and I think if you a grown up you need a child's imagination to enjoy this. I think only one other person in the car enjoyed this. She sat next to me all the way in the back. This review is specific to the Christmas in Color holiday event in December. We bought tickets to visit on a Monday at 8 pm - highly recommend going during the week and not a Friday to avoid high volumes. That said, the entry and staff directions were quick and easy. The car paths were numerous and despite there being many cars in the "queue" with us, we didn't feel rushed or impeded by slower vehicles ahead of us. The light show itself is choreographed to music and features many upbeat, fun songs. We enjoyed it immensely, especially the tunnels. Wish you rec'd more than two pairs of 3D glasses, as these created a super cool experience, on top of the already impressive light displays! We went to the light show at Christmas and WOW it was AMAZING.. I am not sure how they do it, how they get all those lights syncing together to music. I am not sure how long it takes for them to put them all up. We paid the extra money to have "premium pass" this was / is the way to go. You pay a little more, get some light up stuff, but you get to go to the front of the line. By the time we got to the end there was a 40 minute wait in the regular line. You do have to get tickets and they can sell out. So get them early next year ! read more

We bought a ticket to drive through their holiday lights. The tickets are bought at a timed entry and our ticket was for 9pm. We didn't start going through until well after 10pm. No one communicated with us to let us know what was going on or when to expect to be able to through. Super disorganized and a waste of time. We will not be making this a tradition. read more

I am shocked that the company sells a ticket, stating all sales are final, for a race spot at their CHP track night just to make you wait an hour in line and say that you no longer have room for racers and that you need to pack your bags and go home. I spent 4 hours in total with a ticket purchased in advance to lose $50 because the company oversells tickets, which should be illegal. read more

I love Bandimere Speedway. I go there for all the races. I go there for the Fourth of July show, it is spectacular. I love their Fourth of July show with all the jet cars and racing then the huge firework display after. I definitely recommend coming to Bandimere Speedway for fun. read more

Was excited to enjoy the day with the family for the first time visiting Bandimere Speedway, but after 2 hours in the car to simply park, I feel we wasted our prepaid tickets and parking. As I write this review it is estimated we have at least another hour or more just to enter the parking lot and the races will be half way over by then... can't say it's worth it. Don't waste your time hoping to see an event here. Apparently Bandimere doesn't understand the concept of ticketing. If you buy a ticket in advance, you are admitted in. I purchased advanced tickets for the event as well as parking and after spending nearly 90 minutes waiting in one of the 3 mile ling lines to get in to the parking lot for their event yesterday, we along with hundreds (maybe even thousands) of others who had purchased tickets were turned away because the event was full?! The only positive take-away is that their event happened on July 3rd so there is still time to salvage our 4th of July weekend. I have been going to Bandimere for decades, but the total disregard for your clientele shows that you couldn't care less about us. I will never go to Bandimere again as long as I live! Used to love going here for races. It has become painfully apparent however that the family that owns the speedway puts their political views first and has compromised the safety of the city and state by pandering to false beliefs that covid-19 just doesn't exist. The lack of care and bringing thousands of people in close contact without masks is irresponsible. I respect their opinion to support a political side; but safety of guests should be a priority. Wahoo! what fun! Came here with a bunch of co-workers as a company bonding event and everyone had a blast. We checked in, signed our waivers and suited up. I'm glad that I opted for the neck protection because I was not so good at this. Everyone enjoyed comparing times and beating their personal bests. Yawn- I am so bored by the cars racing by. You can't bring your beer on the stands with you so that was a bummer. My husband could have stayed forever- the cars are cool and it's exciting for about the first hour- if you are a car person you will love this venue- lots of muscle cars and dragster cars. I fell asleep at my first nascar race so it's just not my thing- but I did it for the man I love on Father's Day and while he loved every minute, I got caught up on Facebook and enjoyed being in the sun. It's a pretty cool venue if you haven't been before. I liked walking around looking at all the cars. Tip- bring ear plugs because it's LOUD! Bandimere Speedway is probably one of the best places to people watch in all of Colorado- I will say that! We went to watch the diesel truck drag races, and I could not believe that entry was $25 to watch amateurs race their own vehicles! TOO EXPENSIVE! I do know that there are more professional events (I hear 4th of July is super fun here), but don't know entry fees for those. It was a brutally hot day, and the place was quite empty. There's very little place to find shade. The smells emanating from the port-a-potties were horrifying! Seating is terribly uncomfortable bleachers, so bring a pad or backrest thing. There are numerous tents set up at the top with various vendors with parts and such, as well as a bunch of fair food type food trucks- zero healthy options, but I do appreciate that you can bring in your own coolers with food and drink; just no alcohol. It was certainly entertaining, but not a place I'd venture back to anytime soon. read more

A great place to watch the Jet car races on the 4th of July. The festival includes a firework show, vendors, food and drink stands along with lots of prizes! Make sure to bring your ear plugs to protect your ears from the noise of the jet car engines and an umbrella and/or poncho as the weather is unpredictable and there is really nowhere to take cover. The speedway offers lots of parking, too. Fun for the whole family! read more

Attended the Jet Car drag races last night at Bandimere Speedway. The MC was annoying. He kept saying "freeking this and freeking that". Kids are around and everyone understands the euphemism. Also, i think i heard him say "Jesus!" disrespectfully ... Not a fan. Not to use bad pun but the show DRAAAAAAAGED on. I got up and walked around. The show was slow and so uselessly delayed that everyone got SOAKED in the rain. MC wasted 45 minutes easily! Everyone kept saying " DO IT ALREADY!" Not planning to attend next year. I do understand that promotion is part of the presentation. However, it felt like i was captive audience to a long commercial. Shorter better. read more

I went to Bandimere with a friend and his 9 year old son for the go karts. We did go up top to the real track, but there wasn't a lot going on other than a few cars doing prelims or something, so we didn't spend much time there. Down to the go karts, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were about to start racing our karts within 10 minutes and the prices were fair. read more

This place is so freaking fun! My husband has been trying to get me to go for years, but I always said no. Well I got free tickets for the 4th of July event. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?!?!? We got there way early to watch the qualifying rounds and man am I glad we did that. There were only like 50 people there so it was like our own private race. We could see, feel, and hear everything. As the day went on it got busier and the vendors started to open. The show was awesome and it is constant, you don't sit there for 20 mins waiting for the next cars. The only thing they need to add is some shaded areas. It gets so hot out there and there is no where to escape the heat. Bring lots to drink an something comfy to sit on! I was in Denver and looking for a place that fill nitrous bottles. I made a call to Bandimere Speedway and was treated very nice by the lady on the other end. She explained to me that they were open until 4:00pm or when the races finished then connected me to the shack that fill the bottles. They told me to come on down. When I arrived the staff was excellent I wasn't there to race or watch races just fill my nitrous bottles. The guy at the front gate let me and a friend in for free to fill the bottles. We got up to the shack after a very long walk up the hill. Once we got there they checked the bottles for expiration dates and agreed to fill each bottle for $4 a lbs which was outstanding. They told me it would be about 30 minutes because the rail cars were running brackets and the guy that fills them was helping them and invited us to watch the races for a bit. We got to enjoy watching many cars pass and after about 20 minutes the bottles were full. We grabbed the bottles and we were on our way. Great place to watch races I assure you no one kneels to the National anthem in places like that. So if you like America and Bald Eagles screaming all the way down a track this is the place for you. The price is right and the entertainment is what you make of it. During bigger name events I am sure it is more exciting, but it was good entertainment for 3 young boys on a Saturday morning. The grounds were clean. My only thought is to provide a few more shaded locations. The staff was friendly and helpful! I can't say how it is because I stopped at the ticket counter. The price of a ticket was 15.00. It looked like rain and they only had local cars running. It was Saturday and I thought for the rain and local cars runnning the price would have been $8.00. I know you might say it is only 7.00 dollars but I didn't see the stands filled.
