Kyle was super kind and helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions. My spouse was also looking for a lighter wine, but because he has a sensitive stomach, we needed something he could tolerate. Kyle showed us a newer drink called MXD long Islands Teas that he said he hadn't really seen purchased yet, so we told him we'd be his guinea pigs and come back to let him know how it was. At 12.5%, I'm thinking we're already off to a pretty good start! We also bought a blackberry wine to try. We haven't opened it yet, but it was a popular wine that was flying off the shelf, so I'm sure it'll be good. It's on the sweeter side, which isn't usually my preference, but we'll see! I really like the open layout of this BevMo and the variety they carry. Whether you're looking for something on the shelves, something chilled, or snacks to go with your drinks, they have a pretty impressive selection. I especially like the little market section because you can grab your snacks and drinks without having to make another stop somewhere else. It's usually not too crowded when I first arrive, but I've noticed that once people see cars in the parking lot, the place can fill up FAST! I've also seen plenty of customers coming in to pick up online orders, which tells me they're definitely keeping busy. Another big plus: they're open until 11 PM! That's later than many liquor stores, and I love having the option to stop in later when I'm looking for something to take home and enjoy while relaxing. The service was definitely the highlight of my visit. The cashier was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and the woman working behind the deli counter was just as welcoming. I ordered the: *Jerk Turkey Sandwich: you can choose from white, wheat, sourdough, a roll, or an onion roll for an additional $3. I went with white bread. I was expecting more of a deli-style hoagie or Subway-style sandwich, but it ended up being served on two slices of sandwich bread. It tasted good, but it honestly reminded me of something I could easily make at home. There just wasn't much of a wow factor. The sandwich came with pickle spears and your choice of macaroni salad, potato salad, or another deli side. The side portion was fairly small, a couple of bites worth, but the macaroni salad was great. My total came to nearly $15, which felt pretty expensive for a sandwich on sliced bread and a small side. While I really appreciated the friendly service and enjoyed the food, I didn't think it offered enough value for the price. Overall, it was a decent lunch, but not memorable enough to make me want to return.
