This place is wonderful. The gentleman was very helpful. I needed daiquiri and piña colada mix and he helped me find the piña colada mix. Then look up how to make a daiquiri because he didn't have the mix, and then help me find everything I needed to make a daiquiri with the affordable rum, sugar, and OJ. Then he offered me a free small bag Of ice. I highly recommend this liquor store!!!

Another bad experience with the hug that's working there now. It's like he always has an attitude like I'm not spending my hard earned money there. I was parked in their '10 minute parking' and I went in and came back to my car. As I'm sitting there he comes out of the store and asks me to move from the spot staying he 'wasn't trying to be rude'. There were 2 people in the store who came in on foot and no one else outside waiting for the either spot. The guy is just a fucking asshole. Don't spend your money here read more

Sign says "$5 out the door." I'm charged $5.21. I say so not $5 out the door huh? And this man proceeds to rant and rave about CRV and "thank the state of California." Ummm sir you made the sign- you know the price. Then he starts bitching about flavored tobacco. I said "voting for trump huh?" And he goes "anyone but Newsom." Hmmm... last time I checked Gavin isn't running for president but god I wish he was. Last time in this dipshit's store. read more

Been coming here for years and this is the first time I thought to leave a review, but hey these guys are some of the best in town, huge selection of crafts, domestic wine and liquor. These guys are great. I'm here way too much, I'm way too picky of a customer, and I am that annoying jackass that actually asks about the prices. And they still go above and beyond and take care of me. The brothers behind the counter are the owners/operators, and they love their business and their customers. Is BevMo cheaper? Yes. But it's worth the extra dollar or two per item to have a friendly conversation while you check out, to know that the money is going to support small business owners and not a corporation, and to know that if something ever goes awry they'll take care of it. Long story short, if you live within 3-5 miles of this place and are not going here, you're doing something wrong. read more

Pretty good sandwiches. Try the Chainsaw sandwich...I wont tell ya whats in it because I don't want discourage anyone who eats healthy. Update 6/13/07: Well,I stopped by this place to check out the deli menu and learned that the deli part of the operation was gone. Now it is just another overpriced liquor store. read more

I live like 200 yards away, so this place is super convenient. They have a ton of last minute stuff that I'd normally have to drive to get, so that's awesome. Liquor. Liquor. Liquor. The best guys and the best customer service and they have everything you want my waif and I we always come here to get our beer and liquor the have best craft selection wine liquor and we always love to support small business and their princess are cheaper the Vons 711 and other stores around here most of their shots are 99 cents keep the hard work boys. read more

I love this place. It's the closest liquor store near my house so when I'm feeling boozy or need some paper products this is my go to. The owner and all his employees will treat you like family. Go to Subway if you really need a sandwich, i'd give this business more stars if I could. read more

This place has a great selection of craft beers, wines, alcohols, etc. Prices are very comparable to 7-11 and other liquor stores. They sell extra fixings like likes and Michelada cups which is a plus. It is located walking distance from my house so it is very convenient for me. Everyone that works here is very nice and welcoming. read more

They sold us a bottle of vodka that was leaking. I opened it and the cap was not tight and the the plastic cap was broken. This was obviously tampered with. I called to tell them and they said to bring it back. When my husband went in they started calling him a liar. We were going to try to be nice and call it an honest mistake, maybe a defective bottle, but with the way they were so quick to say bring it in when we threatened to report it and then try to defend themselves, I think they are intentionally, illegally tampering their liquor bottles. Beware!! We will be reporting them to the ABC. read more

They have a nice complete selection here and it doesn't smell as bad as most liquor stores I've been in around here. They carry Ballast Point Wahoo and that is a tough but delicious beer to find. I usually can never find bottles of it anywhere I shop. This is a nice convenient stop on the way to see friends in La Mesa and we usually make a point to come here when we do. read more

Joe either does a great job of training his baristas, or he's REALLY good at hiring talent, or both. The ship itself is huge and a great spot to work or meet up with friends. The theme is really cool and the merch all fits the vibe.
