I ordered a gift online for a family member. Unfortunately, there was a glitch on their website and it was no longer in stock. However, they were able to provide a similar item at no additional cost and they expedited the shipping. Things aren't always perfect in life, but it's all about how you try to make things right and take care of the customer. They did a great job at delivering incredible customer service. read more

Went to order from Keg N Bottle. As I tried to check out from "Cart"... the price changed. I had to go back and accept the price change. In literally 15 seconds. Not a fan of businesses that change their prices. They did it 2x in 10 minutes. Not 2x in 2 Days. Dynamic pricing. Will not use them again... read more

Do not ever rent a U-Haul from this location. I did not get the dolly's I paid for, the fuel was 5 miles to empty, and I was screamed at by an employee when I tried to ask about the dolly's. read more

Site shows stock but doesn't tell you it's not in their hands or needs to still "come in", possibly for months, while you wait for your entire order to be filled even if it's for only one outstanding item holding it up. Meanwhile they have, and are operating off, "all" your funds. And if you want the stock items sent to you while you wait for the outstanding one(s), that's an extra shipping cost for them to break it out. If they don't want to honor the shipping calculated and paid on the site during checkout, they just cancel your order due to "unforseen circumstances". Maybe they send you an invoice email with adjusted (lower) quantity and higher freight, especially if you use their frequently provided 10% discount, under the excuse that product needs to ship from various locations to fill your order or they have to pack it in multiple boxes for "adequate safety". And, the invoice locks in Shipping Protection for another fee whether you want it or not, and you can't deselect it. (You don't need it if you are paying with most credit cards - check with your particular CC provider) If they don't like your email responses back to them they simply go dark. Maybe their physical locations are better to deal with since there aren't additional fees and you walk out with what you pay for, but beware of price gouging, and there isn't any across-your-whole-purchase discount you can use like online. 15+ locations across the US and two restaurants is not really considered the "little family-owned business" that they repeatedly convey when whining about the small margin that gets eaten into when offering discounts and dealing with shipping costs. Newsflash: that "small" margin is typically 25-30%, as it is with many retailers, which is why they can afford to keep opening more locations! read more

Do be careful when ordering from them online. They could not deliver the quality in my original order. I agree to have them send me what they had. Yet, they billed my for the quantity on my original order. So the shipping cost was more that the cost of the one bottle I got. I did sent an email request ask why and got not response. read more

I placed an online order for The Dodgers 2025 Championship Marker's Mark Whiskey, back in early Nov (2025). When the order was shipped, I received the 2024 version (not what I ordered, and not what was advertised), so I reached out to rectify the issue (providing pictures of the wrongly shipped items). They got back to me pretty quickly, and asked me for the box dimensions (presumably for the return shipping label, indicated from our email exchange), which I sent, along with pics of the measurements. That was on NOV 10, 2025. After 4 days of ME following up, Jennell finally responded with my "options" (either keep their mistake at a discount, or return and refund.) on NOV 15. On NOV 17, I chose the return/refund option. No response. I reached out again on NOV 26 and DEC 2. I FINALLY get a response back on DEC 6 letting me know that the return label is being sent to me "TONIGHT." It is now DEC 30th, and I've STILL not heard back from them about replacing the wrongly shipped items they said they would replace. ***Just be cautious when doing business with them, as they have bait-and-switched me, and are refusing to make things right, despite an email exchange to the contrary.*** read more

very good shopping experience! recently completed my third order, and pleased with all. once the right products found at the right price on their website, the shipping is very efficient keeping me updated every step of the way (packing, shipping & delivery). all bottles are very well protected; no issues at all. great place to shop if they offer the items you're looking for! read more

My husband took up "bourbon hunting " as a hobby after finding BREWZLE on YouTube. Inspired, we hit up local liquor stores hunting for unique or rare bottles. The College Area Keg N Bottle location is our new favorite! We were in awe of the multi level floor to ceiling inventory. It was a lot to take in! Both Ben and Mike made a great impression. They were friendly, fun, and took the time to ask my husband's preferences. Then they showed us bottles that fit the bill. He was ecstatic with his three bottle purchase. I'm sure we will be back! Shout out to Ben and Mike for being knowledgeable and no pressure. They didn't know this was our last stop of the night after celebrating our wedding anniversary. I wanted to treat my husband who'd wanted to visit for a while. Their inventory was epic and the guys made our night! read more

Ordered 4 bottles of tequila for pickup at Glenview IL location. Stated 1-3 day pickup. When I called to inquire regarding pickup I was given multiple numbers to call. Finally got in touch with someone who stated the items were not in state and that I would have to pay $60 in shipping. I told them no thank you and that I wanted a refund. Fast forward to 3 days later and I call to inquire about my refund status to the California store. They tell me that they will give me shipping for $28, and that my order has not been canceled. I agree, and 5 minutes later receive an email with my canceled invoice. Now they will not answer my calls. Will never shop with them again. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and lack customer service. read more

I do not recommend using this service through Amazon. They were Out Of Stock on the 2 of the 3 items I wanted. Tried calling driver multiple times to cancel but only got voicemail. Called business and they were friendly-- but unable to remedy the situation. Just not worth the headache. Will NEVER try again. read more

Went in to get a bottle of TItos. They recommended me a different bottle of vodka and said it was just as good as Titos. I was getting Titos for homemade cocktails and was hoping that the recommendation would be at least close to what was told to me by the employee. I tried a shot and is was horrible bottom shelf vodka. I came back to return it and they did not care at all, wasn't even willing to give a discount. NEVER let them recommend anything, they just want to sell their bottles and don't care about their customers. Bevmo had a much better deal on the Titos that I wanted and had great customer service. I recommend going to a business that actually considers and cares about their customers. Not going to spend another dime at Keg n bottle. Horrible service and trash recommendations. read more

Fraudulent website. Took my money and never delivered the product. Poor response to emails. Order never filled.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with KegNBottle has been beyond frustrating. They lost not one, but TWO of my shipments. Not delayed. Not damaged. Lost. And instead of taking responsibility, I received multiple emails assuring me that the orders would be shipped "soon." Those shipments never happened. What makes this worse is the communication. I was repeatedly promised that everything was being handled and that replacement shipments were on the way. That turned out to be completely untrue. I had to keep following up myself, and every response felt like another generic promise with no actual action behind it. When a company makes mistakes, it happens. But losing two shipments and then sending misleading emails about shipping them? That's a serious problem. At this point, I've lost time, trust, and confidence in this business. I cannot recommend KegNBottle to anyone who expects reliability or honest communication. Very disappointing experience. read more

I've ordered twice from Keg N Bottle and what great customer service! Stupid Shop Pay (and me) messed up the address due to auto-populate, and KnB helped me straighten it out. The reship fee was pretty minimal. Wanted to add that if you are ordering and need something shipped, the packaging is great. Layers of cardboard and each bottle is wrapped in plastic to ensure nothing breaks. Oh yeah, wine is good too! read more

I was very excited to use a locally owned company. I opted to get the insurance as it was being shipped via UPS. I ordered 3 bottles of liquor. One bottle was completely busted. This is a liquor store paradise. You will find things here that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. From cold beer, bottled wine and floor to ceiling spirits; Keg N Bottle is the spot. In the heart of College Avenue. This is just one of many locations throughout San Diego. Doesn't matter what location you visit though. One thing is clear. They are serious about their alcohol. There motto is "If we don't sell it. They don't make it.". When I went to get a keg for a party. The customer service was awesome. I got a good recommendation for a great pale ale and everything I needed at a great price~ ice, pump rental and a tub to put the keg in. Overall, a fast and easy experience. Support local businesses especially the good ones. Keg N Bottle is great. Buy your booze here. read more

DO NOT ORDER from this company. Zero response to my order. They immediately charged my credit card. Website says they ship within 5-7 business days. 4 weeks later all I could hear was crickets. Went here before the Aztecs game last night. Terrific waiter, as they were kind of busy, and he was really on top of things and nice. KegNBottle is not responsive. Ordered on 12Dec(Fri) with gift wrapping and standard shipping. Website states orders ship within 5-7business days. Around the 16th, get an email stating that they are particularly busy this holiday season and please let them know by what date the product is needed. I emailed back stating by the 25th. No response. Then on the 19th get an email stating that there is still time to order and receive in time for Christmas if select 2-day shipping, then another on the 20th. On the 21st (Sunday) receive notification that the shipping label has been created. On 26Dec received notification that the product has shipped. Received the product around the 6th of January, not gift wrapped. Emailed customer service at KegNBottle, no response. Do not recommend this company, I will not do business with them again. read more

Scam. Made an online order. Take your money then do nothing. Won't respond to any emails.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. KNB offered me free overnight shipping and accepted my order online. They then took my $679 and then sent nothing. Their customer service sent a single email in nearly 3 weeks and now won't respond. Their email explained their free shipping policy as if I controlled what they offer in their web store. They clearly just want to break the contract. 2 or 3 days ago, They said they would check on the shipment (which must take 3 min) and never said another word. Rude and undependable. And they have not refunded my money. Truly unprofessional. Poor service and maybe they are scamming their customers. All I know is that I am out nearly $700. read more

Pro: Genelle! Lrg selection! Too much sometimes! Spirits/Wine/Beer! Able to have delivered Local Con: Some associates ADA: A as they offer delivery, so don't even have to go in! I didn't go in business. So I mostly order through the "Jungle", they charge a fee, give you delivery window(s) and all is OK. So last night, I placed an order (same as I did today) for several items. It was declined saying two items were not in stock, I didn't believe that. Tries again today, and as it was getting close to delivery, I called I'm to see what's up? Talked with Genelle(Hope spelled right), and she was on it! Found 1 of the "missing" bottles. She didn't have the other, but she gave me an option, didn't refuse her for all the hard work she did (got the ladder!). Needless to say, she created a lifelong customer! I do recommend Keg N Bottle SDSU for your wet your whistle needs! Ask for Genelle and she'll steer you right! read more

HUGE : Shout out! [can you hear me screamin'?!] to Aaron!!!! ; ] Thanks to Aaron, one of the store managers a very special birthday occasion is now going to be even more special due to Aaron going out and above to help find a special product that is top shelf for me. He even searched and had it transferred from another one of their stores so I could get it on time for this special, well deserved day! So, thank YOU Aaron! To the owners of KnB you have a good one here - keep him, he's a priceless addition to your successful biz. Proof: I even had another store drop the ball, and failed to follow through until it was a little too late [they did call and had got the same exact bottle + year in!] but, I had to decline, thanked them and let them know that Keg and Bottle already made it happen! Did I mention it was because of AARON?!!!! ; [] yes YES!!! As an owner of two businesses in San Diego, I was beyond impressed with Aaron's follow through and overall courteous and top-shelf customer service over the phone! Another fact is: Everyone has always been nice and attentive in this store. I can't believe the floor to ceiling inventory! Holy!! If you're looking for something special I think only two stores in San Diego County have it all: Holiday Wine & Spirits...allll.......the way up in Escondido, and Keg n Bottle on El Cajon Blvd. So, major cheers again Aaron! Thank you! read more

I did an online order from Keg N Bottle for 5 750ml bourbon bottles. They had an employee text me asking if I'd do the Blantons at 700ml and the weller at 1L. I agreed to it so they'd finally ship this out as it was taking way longer than any other online liquor store and I was starting to think I was getting scammed. Eventually the package comes but just at 4 750ml bottles and the blantons at 700ml. I then emailed them asking them to make it right since they shorted me and they could absolutely care less. I would avoid them at all costs as their prices are ridiculously high anyways, they take forever to send you your bottles, and their customer service sucks.
