Lots of vegan options to choose from here. We got a Thai iced tea, a Che thing and a mangonada. All three things were pretty good and unique! I like that they have a policy to remake anything you don't like. They use quality ingredients. Definitely will try more stuff here.

Love this place! Our favorite to go drink is always the Vietnamese Che. #7 is our all time drink. But i try some others too. Pandan waffle is so good! Eat while warm. Not too good when it's cold, reheating does not do the job Service is great. The guy who helps me out is very friendly and usually suggests things I should try.

They have the best smoothie and boba consistency and that's important for the taste buds. Service is always fast and efficient! Price is fairly reasonable! Their avocado smoothie is top tier for me.

Love the fruit addict here! There are loads of fruits in this drink. I ordered no-sugar option, but 25% sugar tasted better. They had loads of vegan drink options which is absolutely amazing. The ingredient list includes the following - Lychee, longan, jackfruit, palm seed, red tapioca, agar-agar jello, pandan jelly, coconut & coconut milk. All the fruits tasted delicious. Agar-agar jello was the only one that I didn't like so much and would have totally replaced with jackfruit or longan. Overall a great place to explore Vietnamese dessert and I am going to return here to try out the waffles and the rest of the drinks in the menu.

This is my go to place for che! Parking was easy there is a big lot for free, and no wait at all when ordering. I got the bamboo favorite, and it was not too sweet, jelly was fresh, and great taste overall. For the price, the portion is big, two people can definitely share it. The service was kind and fast, and there is a couple of tables inside for seating.

I came to Bambū Dessert & Drinks for the first time this evening, Monday 15 May 2023, with my eye on trying a pandan waffle for the first time. The shared parking lot had spots available and I made my way to the store eagerly. Placing my order I decided I wanted to try a pandan waffle with durian. The worker asked if I had eaten durian before, which I had not, so she had me try a sample to make sure I was okay with it in the waffle. I was pleasantly surprised and kept my order the same. The wait was maybe about five minutes, the prices were $5.95 for the waffle and $2.50 for the durian pre-tax. With tax the total was $9.33 and I paid with a ten dollar bill, tipping my change. The durian came baked into the green pandan waffle. It had a texture that looked a bit liked mashed up bamboo shoots and a sweet flavor. My palate taste buds danced in a way that reminded me of trying lychee for the first time. The pandan waffle was texturally more on the chewy side and the waffle itself was cooked to a golden crispy perfection. I enjoyed the durian inclusion in the waffle, the sweet meaty flesh of the fruit paired well with the chewy and not as sweet flavor of the waffle.

In terms of shaved ice it is pretty good but boba was mediocre. It is in a really convenient spot sandwiched in between Ranch 99 and T&T

Honestly, you don't come here focused on their drinks since they specialize in che, but their drinks are not half bad. For a place that is most focused on the che and Vietnamese dessert, the boba was really chewy and actually had sweetness. It was flavorful and the tea was fine as well. Out of 10 the drinks were a 7 for me. It only helps more that they have such a wide selection of items to pick from (though usually more is usually spread out so items are lower quality, I don't think it's the case here). I haven't had the snow ice here, but at another location. I'm sure it's similar. Akin to bingsoo, it's more shaved ice (actual ice instead of shaved milk), but the flavor you pick will be very apparent from their syrup mix. You won't just be eating straight shaved ice that tastes like water, which I appreciate.

Super fun stop while grocery shopping in North Seattle! I had the durian smoothie with Boba, and it was such a treat. It's super rare to find in any Boba shop. They do spealize in Vietnamese desserts, which I'll be sure to try next time. Prices are reasonable, and the staff was courteous and prompt. They did have boxes in the dining room I had to go around to find my seat. Must stop!

Great spot for bubble tea and Vietnamese che! It's right next to the 99 Ranch market so it's convenient to go while you're out shopping and parking is always available! This Edmonds location isn't like the one in Chinatown so I was disappointed they didn't have the shaved ice here but they do have their signature pandan waffle. My go-to drink is the Bambu favorite. The red tapioca and pandan jelly is the best combo with just the right amount of crunchy and chewy texture. They also allow you to customize the sugar level. I recommend bringing cash for orders under $10 otherwise there is a 50 cent charge for credit cards. The service is really quick though. I ordered a che drink and it was out within a few minutes.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

This was at 8AM - first time I've visited an 85 this early and I wasn't expecting it to actually be decently busy! They also had the boba ready at 8AM and I couldn't resist getting a drink as well. Boba Milk Tea, Medium, 25% Sweet ($4.85) - I've only gotten boba in the afternoon from 85C, most recently from the Lynnwood location, and it wasn't very good at all. I'm guessing they don't rotate the boba at all, so ordering it earlier is better. The boba at 8AM is actually pretty good with a surprisingly decent chew and bounce and a good sweetness on the exterior that's also sticky and soft. The pearls aren't really consistent in size, but are consistent in texture, which is more important. For the tea - 50% sweet is usually way too sweet for me at 85C. 25% is good and not too sweet. Unfortunately there isn't much tea flavor and it mainly tastes milky and creamy. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 White Chocolate Strawberry ($2.60) - Very soft bun with the typical artificial strawberry flavor. The bun is super soft with a nice subtle bounce. Small pieces of softened white chocolate are embedded in the strawberry flavored cream on the inside. It's a well balanced bun that's sweet but not cloying. I hadn't been back since a previous bad experience almost a year ago now and wanted to give this place another try. Same bad service. The bad service I received almost a year ago that made me stop coming to this place was I stopped by for lunch and got a grilled pork banh mi and asked for little to no/ very light mayo or whatever spread is on it as the visit before was too much for me and wanted to avoid that... Staff wasn't friendly that day. When I was eating the sandwich instead of little to no mayo it had globs like no exaggeration a lot/too much mayo spread for me so I did tear off a piece of the bread that I couldn't get the mayo off of and tried to take off the other globs and continued eating. I did not waste food. I just wasted the globs and a small piece of bread. I bussed my own table as that seems to be un clear if you do or don't and put the trash in the trash(globs of mayo +piece of bread) and plate near the counter. A staff member exited the kitchen and walks towards the register near the trash can and she proceeded to open the trash can and keep it open, looked at me and asked how was everything. I was honest and told her I always enjoy the food however today too much mayo and she just kept peering down at my trash in the trash and then her coworker exited the kitchen to join the convo and no sorry or anything...just kept her foot on the trash to keep it open and both employees looked at the trash and looked at me rudely so I told them thank you have a nice day and was off put by the experience. They were treating me like I was wasting or complaining. It was truly so weird like why keep the trash open and almost like try to embarrass me or treat me like I did something wrong? Also why no smiles, why no empathy. I don't like mayo..big deal! I still ate that whole sandwich! Recent visit on 06/06/26. Walked in and cafe wasn't busy, but trash on the floors and dirty tables. Two women. One seemed to be in training. No smiles, no welcome in, just a frown (no joke the woman training the other I believe was frowning and she looked mad) and a what can I get you? I ordered for dine in but was given to go box and to go utensils. I have to assume they just didn't want to do the dishes as one couple had dine in plates and were actually pointing to each other the trash on the floor and discussing their meal. I ordered the pho banh mi so I wouldn't have to worry about a mayo situation tbh. Food was flavorful and good. Portions seem to be a bit smaller than what I remember. If they added actual pho to the menu I bet it would be a hit! To-go ordering seems the popular thing here and if I return is what I'll do. Just sad as this used to be my fav spot but now I've found a better place with better service and food. Drinks here and food is super tasty but wish service, cleanliness, and atmosphere could be improved! Service is important and with my past two visits I feel it's a very unwelcoming atmosphere with the staff being hostile and cold and cafe seating indoors and outdoors are dirty. For me when spending my money somewhere I don't want to be treated poorly or like I'm an inconvenience or just being tolerated. The service leaves such a bad impression that it makes me avoid this place now when I used to recommend it.
