Bambu

It's a cute space. I'm Filipino so when they have offerings that says halo halo in it, of course I'm in. Halo halo means mix mix so this thing is loaded with all the sweet things this place has to offer. The difference is no ice. It's all in coconut milk. I like it, you should check this place out.

It's an Amazing and creative drinks, and lots of fillings that you can add and customize through the kiosk or in person. There is comfortable seating as well as electrical outlets to charge or devices if needed. The ceiling is high and it's modern and decorated nicely. The drinks are really good, including the piña colada and all the other Vietnamese drinks are good as well. And some are filled with real coconut and lychee and Logan. It's in the busy area of Argyle and it's only one block away from the train station for CTA.

Iced egg coffee

Tried the iced egg coffee here and it was soooo good! It's more of a dessert vs coffee in the sense that the egg topping is more of a thick sweet custard. I would recommend using a spoon to get a bit of custard from the top and then take a big sip of the coffee. The strong Vietnamese coffee paired with the sweet custard is such a great contrast and combination of flavors! The top of the custard is also topped with this crunchy toasty coconut that was so delightful! The barista at the front was very nice too, he helped pick out the dessert perfect for me. Stop by here if u want a great dessert!

I absolutely loved it here! The employee who helped me navigate my first timer order was super helpful! Most of the flavors/options were brand new to me and i did not know what to expect. The drink i went with had 5-6 different textures/contents. They were all unique and yummy. It's quite decadent and they do have quite the range of options so you can scale up or down to meet your own preferences. My partner got an iced coffee, for example. My drink was like a rainbow of different bobas, tapiocas, jellies, something soft but crunchy. It was delicious. It did take me two or three days to finish it, but it held up well. I also got a yogurt to eat for breakfast is the cutest little milk jug. And the ambiance was green and clean, felt fancy.

Pandan Waffle and Taro Milk Tea

I'm rarely in this area since I moved away but heard about this place and wanted to make sure I checked it out. I came in the morning when it wasn't busy so I got in and out fairly quickly. I ordered Taro milk tea with boba and a pandan waffle with fresh strawberries. Everything was quite tasty. The waffle had a different type of texture that I hadn't tried before. I want to go back because they have an extensive menu of drinks I hadn't tried before.

Came here for an elite yelp experience. The staff are very nice and I got a gift of origami folding paper set. I had the Taro drink with mango jelly. The drink was well-balanced saved for the jelly which I find too sweet. I also order the Taro waffle which is also delicious, I added a scoop of ube ice cream and it came with not 1 but 2 scoops - nice!

It's been a while since I've been to Bambu but the updated interior feels fresh and a cute spot to hang out with friends. I got the awesome trio which did not disappoint. I wish you could select the sweetness levels because it was on the sweeter side for me. Service was super fast on a Saturday morning and the cashier was friendly.

They have a large variety of drinks and flavors. It was my first time so I wasn't sure what to get but when with a fruit forward Vietnamese tea. I'd never had anything like it and wasn't sure how to drink it. You're supposed to mix everything together, which I learned. It was very tasty. The cashier was very polite and was able to answer all my questions. The pls e was spotless and not very busy on a Thursday afternoon.

Such a great dessert place! Soooo many options! I love the the fruit dessert. Service is casual and quick. They also have a few pastries. The drinks are also good. I love getting lunch around argyle and stopping here for a quick treat.

I got this dessert that was so yummy! It had taro and coconut milk and pandan jelly. I got the smaller size and shared with a friend and I honestly think it was plenty. It's self serve and the inside has some seating.

I usually come in here for a quick healthy lunch from their lunch salad buffet or a slice of pizza from the pizza table. It's good pizza but it's usually not warm enough and gets cold fast; you eat it there or take it home and warm it up. They have a plethora of salads and healthy wraps and a great selection of pastries and cookie bars if you have a sweet tooth.

The product offerings are great, and the store is laid out well…read more However, the service was terrible. Rude. Both the gal at the deli and the cashier checking us out seemed to deliberately do a bad job. They were giving intense anger vibes about being there. The gal at the deli deliberately left the deli door open (thus making the food age & spoil faster) after pulling out the chicken breasts (just two) that we ordered. Then, still leaving the door open, she sloooowly packed them. We wondered how cold the deli really was with the door being left open like this every time she packed an order. Her conversational style was clipped and curt. As customers, we were clearly interrupting her day. The cashier at the checkout line carefully tied a plastic bag around the clamshell plastic container of food we got from the salad bar. Then, she shoved it vertically into the shopping bag, ensuring that juices from all of the foods gushed out of the container (into the plastic bag), and the meal was now left all mushed together in a pile. After going to this location for many years, this week's visit will be our last.

I'm on this eco-friendly kick and trying to eat better (although a 17-year vegetarian), so I was…read moreecstatic to hear about Too Good To Go. As much as I hear about great, fresh food being wasted, this seemed like an obvious app to download. And by this being a smoothie place, I 100% assumed I'd get fruit in this "surprise" bag. A banana, at the very least. They go bad just by looking in their direction. Instead, I ended up paying $3.99 for seven containers of jalapeno corn and two bags of jalapeno chips. The chips were curious in itself because they don't expire until June of this year, so either they're not selling well or the restaurant was trying to add a little variety to the surprise bag. The corn made sense. They would have probably had to throw those out. But it just seemed like a peculiar bag when I could clearly see them making three or four smoothies for other customers. I got there at 7:30 p.m. They close at 8 p.m. I'm having a tough time believing that they didn't end up throwing out any remaining fruit. While I'm definitely going to give Too Good To Go Inc. another shot, it won't be here. I wish management would encourage its employees to give out the "good" stuff that's left. Why? You end up with a repeat customer regardless of the app, and I'd never been in there before. The customer service was strange, too. I walked in. There was one guy at a table and another waiting by the pickup area. The smoothie guy kept on making smoothies but never acknowledged me. You would've thought it was 30 people in there with the way he was moving. I assumed it was my fault and walked to the register instead of the pickup area. A lady came out and looked at me. I showed her my app and forgot the name of the company, but they realized what I was talking about. Then the guy just walked away for a few minutes. I didn't know if he was going home for the night or bringing me a bag. And the lady just took over with making the same shakes he was making. Then the guy popped back up. These two work awkwardly together. On an up note, however, it's convenient to park here on Sundays when Target is closed. The underground lot is not.)
