The scope of the project involved the installation of three panels of antiqued mirror on an accent wall in our dining room which included holes for layering an existing framed mirror on top. Bottom line, things had to be precise! The second part of the project included installation of nine panels of antiqued mirror with brass rosettes placed at the intersecting seams above a fireplace mantel which was then trimmed out with decorative molding. The coordination of mirroring and trim work with a local contractor took months to collaborate (frustrating at times) but we could not be more pleased with the outcome. The installers, Ryan and Matthew, were courteous, professional and experienced in their trade. They did a beautiful job and made sure that things were cleaned up and furniture put back in it's place. I would HIGHLY recommend Mirror Crafters ...... the scope of what they can deliver goes above and beyond any glass/mirror company in the area!!

After a year, I decided to return to A1 for a new service because my first experience was great…read more Unfortunately, this time was completely different, and I will not do business with them again. I contacted A1 on December 2nd about a problem with my screen door. After returning from a business trip on December 16, I provided more details about the issue. They said someone would come to take measurements, but according to my front door camera, no one ever showed up. On December 18, they confirmed via text--providing detailed information--that they could do the job at a price I could afford. Finally, on December 30th, they came to do the work. I was out of town for business again, but since my first experience was positive, I trusted things would go smoothly. That was a mistake. They did the exact opposite of what we agreed upon, despite confirming the details in writing. Nothing they promised was actually done. To make matters worse, they left my front porch a mess. I later had another handyman look at their work, and he told me I was overcharged, especially considering they just reused the original materials and merely painted over them. I am extremely disappointed that I gave this business a second chance. I am retracting my original positive review.

A wholly unprofessional, bait and switch experience with a "tax" on our estimate…read more Long story, so hang in here. We called Rush Glass in the fall of 2017 for some shelving and provided *exact* measurements. We were quoted $160 for the six shelves we needed. This was a great price, so we decided to use them. We put our project on hold because we had travel plans. We wanted Rush to make an appointment to come by to take exact measurements. In Nov. 2017, we emailed Rush to set up an appointment. We made sure the following info was in the email: 6 shelves, each measuring 28 3/16" x 11 3/8", 3/8" (recommended thickness) with sanded edges - $102 total. Polished edges will be $3 -$4 more per shelf .... $160 for all work, plus delivery. We then emailed Rush three more times, each time including the same info above regarding the measurements and verbal quote. We never received an emailed response although Rush did call back to confirm our appointment. In early 2018, we were supposed to meet with Rush with a one hour window. After about half an hour passed by, we called to see if they were still going to show up. Omar called back and asked if he could reschedule since the snow from a couple of days prior had thrown off the schedule. Um, okay. It would have been nice and professional if we had been told the day before that they had scheduling problems. We then met with Omar who took measurements. He later texted the actual price. Wait for it. ***$550!!*** Wow. When we called Omar, he asked if he sent a written quote. We replied no, it was all verbal, but we had sent numerous emails with the quoted info, a price that *he* quoted. Not once did he ever reply or call and say "Hey, wait a second; this is the wrong price. The cost will be 3.5 times more." Omar also created a convenient loophole and said that the quotes were only good for thirty days, something he never mentioned on the phone. When queried as to why he didn't respond to ANY of the emails, he said that he doesn't look at emails that often. Unacceptable. We have no idea how a business can operate by providing a verbal quote they can't keep, not checking emails and failing to notify a customer of a schedule change. Just an utter waste of time. Omar could not explain what happened, but we have a feeling he felt that we were more than able to pay a higher price and added a "tax" to our quote. Far too many excuses. Stay away.
