I am very glad that Baltimore Mail and Ship exists. They seem to do fine with packages we send. SADLY, despite saying that they take Post Office USPS packages, expect to be LECTURED when you go and drop off USPS packages. They act like it is a chore, and tell you they will have to walk it over to the post office, and try to shame you into not bringing USPS packages - even though they earn a commission on FedEx and UPS packages. Please change your sign if you do not accept Post office packages They seem to do great other than this glaring weirdness. read more

Sadly, after being such a terrific business, I must revise my 5-star review of 4 years ago. I went there this week to return something and Erik wasn't there...I actually haven't seen him there for a while. Instead I explained to the woman sitting on a stool behind the counter that I had been emailed a QR Code by the company, which was to be scanned and would provide a label to return via UPS. The instructions said it could be used at my nearest UPS drop off site. The woman said she had ever shopped online and knew nothing about it. The woman said that the code could only be used at a corporate UPS business, the nearest being Roseburg. I tried to call the website up on my iPad mini to show her, but I wasn't connected to their WiFi. In the past that had ever a problem with Erik. However the woman told me that they no longer allowed customers access, and pointed to a plug under a table, which wasn't plugged in. She said if I wanted to do it, I was welcome to, but she wasn't about to. At this point, I was so upset, that I just turned around and left. When I was outside I heard her say "sorry" . When I got home, I called the company to ask about the QR code and the service rep said that I did NOT need to drive to a corporate site; it could be used at any business that took UPS drop offs. In the future I will drive to Coos Bay/North Bend for my UPS/ FED-EX mailing needs. I will never return to The Baltimore Center again. It's a shame that Erik has this person behind the counter because she obviously does not care about customer service. read more

I have been here about a dozen times over the years, and everyone has been great, even on the rare occasion when the line was out the door. They once packed a family heirloom with such care, I really appreciated their understanding of how important it was. Their copies always come out perfect, and they are master multitaskers. Once, I was able to finally sign a contract on a deal, after years of negotiations, but it had time constraints. I begged someone there to ask the FedEx driver to wait a few minutes--please don't ever do this, it's just wrong. ! Both said yes. I saw a sign recently, I don't think they can take public boxes anymore. Highly recommend. read more

Some days this business is nice and in a good mood and other days they aren't. It's hit or miss with customer service. They have a stack of boxes that customers leave behind and one day they gave me one with no problems and i was so appreciative. Went back a few months later to see if they had one i could have and the guy working there got all mad and started ranting about how he "has to make money too" and how i couldn't have one that day. Just to make this clear.... These aren't boxes he pays for. They are boxes left behind by customers. FREE BOXES. All he needed to say was something like, "I've given them away in the past but now I'm selling them for a buck"... or anything in that realm.... But to rant about how he "needs to make money too" is slapping his financial situation into my lap. He was rude, his partner was rude, and i left without a box but WITH the intention of never ever stepping in that place again. All over a free box. Just not acceptable behavior from this business. They have always been very helpful to me. My mom was wheelchair bound and they would come out to the car when she needed something notarized. It's easy to drop off Amazon or other returns to them and I have used them many times to notarized documents and fax things. read more

Avoid this place at all costs unless you want rude and curt service. Eric is EXTREMELY RUDE and should not be allowed around customers if he wishes to continue doing business. I've tolerated this place for sometime now. The last straw was when my wife entered the store with her arms full. She had forgot to wear her mask. The owner said "get out now no mask get out". She apologized and was reaching for her mask with her arms full and he yelled again to 'get out now!' She turned around and left. I've always known his demeanor really sucked, but he's the only game in town. They tried to overcharge me, got my order wrong and once told me to use there computer to print but didn't know the password to get started. I had to wait for other customers before getting back with me after telling me one password after another that did not work. Ended up going to Coos Bay. Now I'll always go to coos Bay Printing. NEVER put up with one that has a bad attitude all the time! read more

For the love of Mike. This is a shipping center which does an excellent job, well, shipping things. Don't like their attitude? Have you considered it might be you? My packages have all been delivered as i asked and for fardfar lesstless than if i had driven them myself. Think it's too expensive? Eric doesn't set the rates. Don't like going there??? Well, then... don't! Go stand in line at the post office. Now, THATS pleasant. Have used these guys many time without any issues. Eric stuck around and did a notary after-hours for me last year and I'm not sure how many other places would do the same. One of the women there is a little abrasive toward other women but since I'm a big boy I've never been hit with any of that attitude. read more

Eric tried to sell me a used shipping box for $5, LOL. When I went back later to to ship I asked him to ship by UPS. As I was in another State waiting for the pkg to arrive, the tracking number was invalid. Called him back and was told he shipped my pkg by FEDEX. My receipts never stated FEDEX---By the way, the store makes more $ using FEDEX. Cheating customers and not providing the proper paperwork is ---well you make up your own mind about this store. read more

well I guess if you call this business to inquire as to when your package is going to be shipped out, and when you will have tracking information you should be prepare to get talked to very rudely. I called today simply to ask when I could expect to see tracking information, so I could let my client know. The woman who answered the phone had a horrible attitude from her first hello. She was condescending, hateful, and just plain rude. I get that everyone has a bad day from time to time, however when you work in a retail business, it is part of your job to treat each and every customer with respect and kindness. this is one business I will never use again!! read more
