We started with their homemade tortilla chips, guacamole, and salsa, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My husband ordered the California burrito, and it exceeded expectations. He's originally from San Diego, so he has very high standards when it comes to what a true California burrito should be, and La Casita definitely hit the mark. It's not easy to find an authentic California burrito outside of Southern California, but they nailed it. We also tried their homemade horchata, and it was one of the best we've ever had--perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing. Beyond the amazing food, the service was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and even offers a small selection of Mexican pantry items for sale, which adds a unique touch. We highly recommend La Casita to anyone visiting or living in the area, and we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Kalispell!

I always ask places to not add the special sauce or I decline their fry sauce. Again, I don't know what their sauce is, but we didn't have any left! It paired perfectly with their food, not over bearing. Sadly, he showed up solo and late to cook a rehearsal dinner meal for 90 people. What was billed as gourmet pizzas, salad, and wings ended up being pizza boxes and wings in tinfoil pans thrown onto a table, and that's after my in-laws had to help set up because he was running 1-2 hours behind. Additionally, he forgot a primary ingredient on a pizza type we requested and our venue owners had to run to the store to get it for him. On our wedding day, he showed up with more staff but still 1 shorter than promised. Our contract noted passed appetizers during our cocktail hour but they were just set on a table. One of our main entrees for vegetarians in attendance was butternut squash risotto but what was served was an overcooked rice pilaf side dish looking thing with the squash undercooked - no where near any sort of risotto that I've ever had. We paid 5 figures for this catering and were left with embarrassment for what was served and how it was served. I hesitate to write reviews like this but hope it helps Oso improve for future events and/or prevent other couples from experiencing what we did.
