The Inn has a restaurant and bar lounge with live music and there are fireplaces throughout the property. When I found out how much he paid for the room I was in slight shock. I guess the only room left at the time of booking was a large two story suite with a loft bedroom and bath, and a living room and bathroom downstairs. The accommodations were rustic wood with modern touches, tiled bathroom, etc. We arrived at the property later in the evening so we dined and then listened to live music in the lounge. The bed and linens were the finest in all of our Ireland stay, but the large King bed was divided with two mattresses. The view from the suite was looking into the interior garden and was quite peaceful, charming and breathtaking. For the price of the stay, I expected things like unlimited complimentary bottled water, and hotel staff at desk when items were needed after hours. I did love the calming balm that was put by our bedside, a mint/herbal balm to rub on temples prior to sleep, definitely the best nights sleep of the entire trip.

We could have settled for a night out, but we decided to really push the boat out and go away for the night, and carefully ignored the smutty sniggering from our less refined friends. We decided on the Bushmills Inn and booked a double room. Imagine my delirious excitement when the very friendly young chap at reception told us we had been given the bridal suite. We waited for him to say 'suckers, only joking', but that didn't happen and he did indeed give us the keys to one of the best suites in the hotel. It was just beautiful, a huge room with vaulted ceiling, massive bed and a full size sitting area with an open fire. All of the furniture and curtains etc were plush and luxurious and I could have spent all my time in the bathroom. The bathroom was also huge, very traditional in style with a lush free standing slipper bath. The rest of the hotel was lovely too and we had to work hard to get round and sit in all the public areas - the bar, the library and the sung downstairs. We ate out elsewhere for dinner but our breakfast next morning was fab - the full Ulster and it was tasty, not greasy and beautifully presented. All in all our one night stay was pretty much perfect - good service, good food and a wonderful room. I would absolutely recommend the Bushmills Inn for an overnight treat for locals and tourists alike.

We stayed in both The White Park Room and The Causeway Suite. Both had skylights, great views of the countryside, and refrigerators. I really liked The Causeway Suite because it had a separate living area and a bathtub in addition to a shower stall. Very well done and my first choice when staying in the Bushmills area!

Just remember to bring your stub in. Ireland is not really known I think for its iced coffee drinks so probably steer clear of ordering an Iced latte. Not horrible, but not great. The food however, was pretty tasty. We got the Carmelized onion and goat cheese tart And the Pan seared Rockville farm chicken. Both were done well, and the price is paid. If you can eat in the back of the restaurant, it probably has slightly more character as the front has windows only looking out to the parking lot. Parking is free for guest of the hotel. Otherwise you pay 10 pounds.

A great place to stay if you want to see Giant's Causeway and also a nice "home base" if you want to explore Northern Ireland.

All high ceilings and space and loveliness and cleanliness; it's much more like a hotel than a B&B. Sharon and Dave are very welcoming and i loved the little touches; proper toiletries, tea and free chocolate upon arrival, beautiful accessories in the bedrooms. The bathrooms are large and luxurious. They have obviously put a great deal of thought into what makes a great place to stay. It's worth going to Portrush just to come here. Oh and no children. Golfers who've been to Bandon Dunes, it's like staying at The Inn, but with friendly, warm personal service. *Perfectly* positioned about a three wood and a nine-iron from the pro shop at Portstewart and only a 10-minute drive to Royal Portrush. His son, Thomas, even took a day off work, came back from Belfast, to meet us and play golf with us! My husband and dad were thrilled! The accommodations at the Strand House are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. Ernestine's scones -- Oh. My. Goodness. So heavenly. The house is just far enough from the bustle of the town, and about 30 minutes from Giants Causeway and the Rope Bridge. You would be hard pressed to find better accommodations for the value. We definitely plan on going back.
