The Villa is very nice and has its own charm. The best certainly is the awesome view over the bay (priceless)! If you're lucky you get the bedroom with the view. The rooms are nothing luxuries, as the house is a little older, but you'll find everything you need. Most important an own bathroom with shower and toilet. The bed was very comfy, the TV very small and the walls are cute. I really felt I was in an old villa. The owner is over 80 years old but still in good shape. She's very sweet and helpful. As we arrived we were chatting almost 30 minutes, same as we left in the morning. She even made some calls to friends of her to find out about questions we asked her and a pub we wanted to go. In the morning you'll be served with an awesome breakfast, cooked by the award winning chef (again the owner :)). She got help from a younger girl while we stayed there because it would be too much for her to walk from the dining room to the kitchen all the time. You can choose between a lot of very delicious dishes she freshly cooks and you can also help yourself at the bar where you find fresh fruits and cereals. And all this you get for a very reasonable price (60£ when we stayed there during high season in July). Cushendun isn't really a place where you think you might want to go when you look at the map, but the village itself is very cute too. And the coastline is just amazing! So don't skip this part of Northern Ireland, it's worth it!

So, he got his car and drove us to the harbor area so that we could get dinner before their kitchens closed. The location is actually really close to the center. We were able to walk back just fine. The hotel itself is adorable. It was very clean and welcoming and the Irish breakfast ensured our group would start off the day happy. I highly recommend Anvershiel House.

The inside is warm, homely and inviting with broad wood beams along the ceiling and just a generally olde world feeling. The food is amazing and I can highly reccommend the steak and guiness pie. All meals are beautifully presented and good sized portions. You wouldnt get much change from £50 for a meal for two but I think for food and atmosphere like the one at The Bushtown its perfectly reasonable. The staff are very helpful and accommadating to your needs. Children welcome and disabled access available. They also host wedding receptions frequently and have live bands in one or two nights a week. During the summer they will also have some stage shows for the younger kids to attend.

Great breakfasts as you'd expect (my personal recommendation is the French Toast with cheese and tomato). Golfers who've been to Bandon Dunes, it's like staying at The Inn, but with friendly, warm personal service. *Perfectly* positioned about a three wood and a nine-iron from the pro shop at Portstewart and only a 10-minute drive to Royal Portrush. Will DEFINITELY be back here with friends on our next trip.

His son, Thomas, even took a day off work, came back from Belfast, to meet us and play golf with us! My husband and dad were thrilled! The accommodations at the Strand House are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. Ernestine's scones -- Oh. My. Goodness. So heavenly. The house is just far enough from the bustle of the town, and about 30 minutes from Giants Causeway and the Rope Bridge. You would be hard pressed to find better accommodations for the value. We definitely plan on going back.

Ireland, London and Scotland and this was by far our favorite accommodation and surroundings. There are various apartments to choose from - ours was a nice 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) with small living room and kitchen. The complex is small and well maintained, perched above beautiful Whitepark Bay and surrounded by grazing land and sheep. We found the kitchen well stocked with cooking tools, the beds comfortably made, and nice towels hanging over the radiator - a welcome sight for slightly weary travelers! The closest town (a few min down the road) has a good sized Co-operative Food to obtain provisions. There was so many beautiful things to see in the area and a nice home to come to at night. Well pleased!

The house is beautiful, I love the decor and amazing collection of items they have from their travels. Bob was a fantastic host and welcomed us with tea and conversation. He was very helpful with attraction and food recommendations. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and very comfortable. We had a great view from our bedroom window. The house is in a central location to everything we wanted to do. Just a few miles from the rope bridge, Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges. There are few few small towns nearby in either direction with options for food and drink. One of my favorite things of staying here was having Bob's delicious breakfast. The food was great and the breakfast room was gorgeous. I would love to come back and stay here again, this house and the area were my favorite of my whole vacation.

We must have circled for hours because of the traffic. Be prepared to carry your bag up a long flight of stairs. The room was small but had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful, but trying to get out of the crazy tight parking we popped a tire. Helen let's us use the phone and we sat in their lounge until we could get a fix. They couldn't have been nicer.

Just remember to bring your stub in. Ireland is not really known I think for its iced coffee drinks so probably steer clear of ordering an Iced latte. Not horrible, but not great. The food however, was pretty tasty. We got the Carmelized onion and goat cheese tart And the Pan seared Rockville farm chicken. Both were done well, and the price is paid. If you can eat in the back of the restaurant, it probably has slightly more character as the front has windows only looking out to the parking lot. Parking is free for guest of the hotel. Otherwise you pay 10 pounds.
