The last time I saw this name it was a health club! I'm so surprised to find a casino in downtown Chicago. It's pretty small and not crowded at all. I was thinking, where are all the people? There is a bar and clean restrooms

Came to check out the casino here. It's three levels with no-smoking allowed. There are plenty of slot machines and a few open table games that are very expensive to play. The music in the casino is so loud that you miss the exciting sounds of the slot machines clinking and dinging. There is a large bar in the front of the casino. The staff is sort of bland. They look bored and tired and seem like they want to go home. If you want to gamble around here, ok, but don't make a trip to do so if it's not that important to you.

Clean casino. The minimum for the tables start at $25. Those ones are usually fully packed. the next one is $50... kind of high for minimums but good casino.

Lovely casino! Multiple floors. Nice little setup. They didn't offer any rewards for new user.

SMALLLLL casino, for what I thought would be in Chicago but a casino nonetheless. I came here at the beginning of October so I was able to catch the cute decorations they had for the upcoming holiday. If when I'm back in the city and my hand starts itching, I wouldn't mind returning here - seeing if their food is good.

Terrible customer service - very very very rude.

The food experience was HORRIBLE - we had 2 $10 credits for food because my friend is somewhat of a regular at the Casino itself. He ordered hot food and used the coupon then tried to do a separate transaction for the other, the lady at the counter gave attitude and said "you have to get back in line for the second order" he says okay, then got right back in line again, waited and got to the counter again and went to order a hot dog and she says "sorry the hot food is closed!" ... I said well when does it close??? She says loud and with attitude and seemingly defiant attitude "right now" when pressed, she refused to give a time...it was 12:54... what a random time. Her name is Catherine... 5 out of 5 for rudeness.

Bally's Casino in downtown Chicago is a solid spot if you're looking for a convenient place to gamble in the city. The casino itself is very clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly, which definitely makes the experience more enjoyable. There are plenty of machines to choose from across two floors, so there's a good variety depending on what you like to play. One nice perk is that when you sign up for their players club, they give you $20 in free play, which is a great way to get started. That said, the casino is on the smaller side, so it can get very crowded, especially during busy times. Another downside is the area outside. Being downtown, there were some sketchy people lingering outside, which can make it feel a little less safe late at night. As far as the gambling goes, I personally didn't have much luck. After putting about $200 into the slot machines, I didn't even hit a small bonus, which felt like I was robbed. Of course, it's a casino, so wins are never guaranteed, but it would have been nice to see at least something. Typically I lose all but it keeps me playing for a while. It's all in the fun! Overall, not the best casino experience but definitely not the worst either. If you're a gambler and want a casino option right in downtown Chicago, it's worth checking out.

Not a super huge casino compared to ones you see in Vegas but it's pretty sizable especially when you consider it's in the heart of downtown Chicago. I saw plenty of slot machines and tables. Only casino I've been to where smoking doesn't happen which is a big plus in my eyes. Recommend losing your money here

I came in on a Friday, and I'll tell you it was packed weddings, business people, tourest and etc it was a lot of people. Even using valet was a pain but I managed it. Honestly, just have to be patient at the end of the day. Rooms were clean and service was great. I actually had a decent view facing the outside towards the shake shack area it was fine it was cool seeing the buildings. Gym is located on the 9th floor, that was amazing. Gym was clean and huge. So many people rushed to work out on a Saturday but it had so much room. I can't say much negative experience sure did it feel outdated in some areas. But it's a Marriot and I had a wonderful experience. Is stay here again.

For the pros, the location is great. For the cons, there are many and some that are deal breakers. In addition to the club lounge being closed and locked a lot, we had multiple issues with our room. The carpet is way past needing to be replaced. In addition to being worn out and dingy, ours had a foot-long, rip it. That's inexcusable for a hotel of this class and price point. I told the hotel about it, twice, and they just didn't care. In addition, the hotel is located close to the hospital downtown, so you get a lot of ambulances and sirens all night. Even though we were on the 45th floor, they sounded like they were in our room. An inspection of the window showed that the sliding window in the room doesn't seem to have any seal when it closes. So you can hear the outside noise as if the window was open. Again, this is inexcusable for a hotel of this caliber. Also, one of the large tiles in the shower was cracked in half with a quarter inch gap throughout the crack. If you combine all this together, you don't get a very premium feel. Instead, this is an aging hotel in need of updates with management that doesn't seem to care. Also, they charge you a daily $30 destination fee for essentially nothing. They try to make it sound like you're getting things, but those are things that you either are already getting for free or would never want or use. They are just garbage junk fees for them to secretly charge higher prices without making it look like they are. I will be finding a different hotel for my next day in Chicago.

If you're able to splurge for club access at $200/person, you'll get to experience stunning city views, breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks, unlimited cocktails, and evening bites. We were also sent a bottle of wine and snacks to our room. I loved that they have a free spa area where you can use the sauna, heated stone loungers, and cold showers. The pool was stunning and we enjoyed swimming, just wish the hot tub was hotter as it was lukewarm. The room was great as well with a Nespresso machine and relaxing tub. Every time we stepped out of the room we would come back to a nice surprise, the room would be cleaned or they would leave the water and ice. Very attentive customer service here. Overall it was nice to live in luxury for the night, highly recommend if you're looking to splurge and relax! Hope I'll be able to stay again someday.

The cleanliness is exceptional, supported by daily housekeeping that maintains a high standard throughout the visit. The Highlights * The View: One of the standout features is the spectacular, unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. * The Spa: The Trump Spa offers a solid wellness experience. The "Goddess Massage" is a recommended treatment, providing a comprehensive 2-in-1 experience that combines a full-body scrub with a professional massage. The Drawbacks * Dining at Terrace 16: Despite the convenience of a $60 daily breakfast credit, the morning meal at Terrace 16 is best avoided. The food quality does not meet expectations, and the pricing is high enough that guests will almost certainly exceed the allotted credit. * Value Proposition: Between the lackluster breakfast and the potential for high out-of-pocket costs at the restaurant, the dining experience significantly detracts from the overall value. I would totally stay here again for The excellent service, cleanliness and the spectacular view. Love having the kitchen area as well.

Visit date: Memorial Day Weekend, 2022 Room: 108…read more Title: All factors considered, it's pretty good I stayed here for 4 nights through Memorial Day weekend. With _ALL_ taxes and fees accounted for, the price came out to $105.50 per night. Considering the prime location, this was an extremely good deal. At the time I booked (around 2 months before my visit), most hotels in the area were advertised upwards of $150/night. The room is humble, and really only comes with the basic essentials. The only sort of luxury you'll find in the room is a television set, but they're 32" 720p (Model #NS-32D310NAS21) , so you're likely not going to use them. Put frankly, this is the kind of hotel you'd use if you're just needing a place to spend the night -- and for what I needed -- it fit perfectly. There's Ethernet and Wi-Fi, but the WiFi signal was terrible in my room, I got a whopping 100ms ping, with 1.79 Mbps down and 1.90 Mbps up. Again, this didn't really matter to me, as I just needed a place to sleep. The shower was warm, but the water pressure was pretty meager. I found the front desk staff to be fairly friendly on the times I needed to interact with them, so I appreciate that. All in all: this is the perfect southern Chicago hotel for the single budget-conscious traveller.

And the ceiling was leaking. The 3rd room smelled of mold, and the showered was covered in it. Now we are in a room with a mini fridge that smelled like someone died in it (we wheeled that off into the hallway). Oh, and the safety lock is missing from the door. We've been staying here for years, but after this experience, we will never stay here again.

The elevator itself was super sketch and had trash all inside it. The floor layout is very motel like, creaky lights and dusty, so I was scared to finally get to my room. Lo and behold, the room was fine. Cons: TV is unwatchable, it's horizontal to the bed. No mini fridge (never seen a hotel with no mini fridge).
