He's quite friendly and we talked about Ballroom dancing, and I even got a Free lesson with one of his students! I truly love the Collegeville Fred Astaire studio, its teachers, and I look forward to going to their fun "dance parties", where I can dance all night long! (And, no I don't need a "dance partner". I just dance with anyone and it's a real blast! You can show up by yourself.) And, after talking with Roman, he started having Swing dances that I run, so it doubles the fun! Ashley, Betsy's daughter-in-law, frequently cancelled both group and private lessons without making them up, even though we paid for them in full. My daughter participated in singing and dance, and Ashley cancelled numerous lessons that were never rescheduled or refunded. The cost was excessive for the quality and reliability of instruction we actually received. The situation worsened when I notified the company that we would be moving. In the months that followed, my daughter was treated unfairly. She was yelled at and embarrassed during class, not included in the same way as the other students, and clearly singled out. At the end of the season, I asked that the check for our recital tickets not be cashed since my family would not be attending. Ashley and Betsy agreed at the time, but then cashed the check anyway. When I followed up, she promised to issue a refund but never did. In addition, we were required to purchase thousands of dollars' worth of costumes that we will never use, including a $300 dress that my daughter wore for a total of 15 minutes. The overall experience felt dishonest, exploitative, and deeply unprofessional.

It was well worth the cost for me! The main con I had was that the women's locker room was disgusting. The moment you walked in, you could immediately smell the urine. It was awful, I would hold my breath every time. The showers were also gross and had very weak water pressure. The entire 2 months of my swim classes, the machine to dry your swimsuit was broken until the very last day of my class it worked again.

I have lost 30lbs on my weight loss journey and Purenergy has been a huge part of that! For less than the cost of that massive gym in King of Prussia and way more variety than the "Citrus Concept" down the street, you can enjoy similar class offerings, free babysitting 8:30a-12pm Monday to Friday, and twice the ambiance! I find myself in Yoga a few days a week - the studio is beautiful and the mild heat is welcome in these bitterly cold winter months! I recommend Kristy's Wall class for a great deep stretch and Sarah's Power Flow for the ultimate mind/body stress relief! As part of my New Years Resolution, I am trying more of the fitness classes here, and thus far have taken Lisa's Tabata and Michelle's Burn class - both high-intensity interval training guaranteed to ramp up your energy! You'll also find pilates, barre, aerial, spinning, and martial arts classes here - ensuring you'll never get stuck in a rut! I'd personally love to see more Pilates or core based classes in the evening, but realize that has everything to do with instructor availability and member interest! :) Beyond the class offerings at Purenergy you'll find a welcoming atmosphere, clean locker rooms, and fresh towels for the sweat you're guaranteed to break! I was very excited to book my wedding dance prep lessons here. When I first called and booked the…read moreintro lesson, the folks answering the phones were very friendly. When the scheduled appointment got closer, I never received confirmation so the morning of, I called to make sure everything was still a go. The studio had told me they accidentally double booked the time they scheduled my fiancé and I for and we would need to reschedule (no biggie). As the rescheduled appointment approached, I called again proactively to make sure the appointment was still taking place and they asked me to reschedule again as the teacher was sick. The third time the appointment was rescheduled (I had to move it out a few days because something with work came up), and I AGAIN called myself the afternoon of the appointment to make sure things were finally a go for that evening, and the person who answered said they double booked our time slot for the THIRD time and that we could join the group class but there was no time for our scheduled individual lesson. I was really looking forward to going to this studio for our lesson but after the third time they messed up their scheduling, I cancelled for good and am taking my business elsewhere. Be prepared for scattered scheduling if you go here.
