First off, the studio has a core belief that "Yoga Is For Everybody" and you will see a wide mix of ages, levels & body types practicing in this studio. There are hard classes and classes intended to chill & relax you. There are many challenging classes for the limber & athletic, as well a broad variety of classes for folks who are more physically challenged. Besides the Vinyasa & Flow classes commonly found at other locations, there is also a wide selection of specialty classes such as Adaptive Yoga, Chair Yoga, Pre & Post Natal Yoga, Yin Yoga (a personal favorite) Hot Yoga and even the occasional Sun night "Yoga Nedra," which is intended to relax you & take your mind somewhere else. The instructors are all excellent at what they do. They each have their own style but it is always welcoming & supportive. Most have been teaching there for years and they really watch & get to know their students, often suggesting a pose adaptation or handing you an extra prop, before you even knew you needed it. The physical studio has some real advantages over other locations I have experienced. First off, it is small. You are never far from the instructor and never buried 6 rows back. The room is kept comfortable with good AC in the summer & well heated in the winter. Unlike some dusty floor studios I have experienced, they keep the space clean and you can tell it is well loved. Perhaps the most important hidden feature of this studio is, unlike most studios in strip malls or rock centers or multi-activity gyms, that have concrete floors, Yoga Home is in an old building and the finished studio floor is over 100 year old wood framing (over a basement.) Unlike a concrete sub-floor found in most commercial locations, which is hard & unyielding, Yoga Home wood framed floor has a tiny amount of give. If you ever did yoga on vinyl tile over concrete, you will understand how important this subtle & relatively rare physical really feature actually is. I have done yoga, off and on for over 30 years. I have done it in studios, in churches, in high school classrooms, in racket clubs & gyms, on carpeted floors and on the grass at festivals. I was also a member of Yoga Home, at its old (larger) location before the pandemic closed it. Every time I try another studio I keep coming back to this one for the reasons listed above. It may not have the most bling or rows of exercise machines & free weights or a rock climbing wall, but, if you are looking for a well run, high quality, yoga studio, where the instructors are all committed to their teaching & care about their students, you won't go wrong with Yoga Home. It is a real Conshy gem.

There's a class for you here, no matter where you are in your practice. This is safe space for people of all shapes, sizes, ages and walks of life. It's a very welcoming environment. I've met two instructors so far and both were kind and warm, and cared for their craft. There's a drop in rate of $17-$20 per session. You may want to try a $25/2 week unlimited class pass if you're new to the studio and want to see where exactly you groove. The entire studio is quite lovely. There's a nice changing/open locker room and great items for sale. From hand-painted mats, awesome jewelry, to water bottles, and my favorite, the clothes! Awesome patterned yoga pants for children and adults, and a brand of yoga clothes I love and have never seen sold in person but they have it here. The company is known for their fun yogi inspired sayings on cute shirts! Prices were fair. The actual studio is absolutely stunning! The nicest I've ever been in!! Personally I'm usually more of a darker lit studio space kind of gal, but the bright daylight shining through the curtains with exposed brick walls and an unbelievable vintage ceiling was honestly perfection first thing in the morning. So clean and refreshing. Gorgeous! Heavenly! This space changed my views on how I thought I preferred doing yoga. They are also currently expanding next door! There's a few parking spaces reserved behind the studio but they fill up early. There's quarter meter spaces so bring change or park in the municipal lot which takes cards. I would absolutely recommend trying a class here! It's a very relaxed, no pressure atmosphere.

My son just finished his third recital at Dance 4u Dance Center, and my family couldn't be happier…read more In his three years of dance at the studio, he has done a tap/ballet combo class, a tap/jazz combo class, and mini-hop (hip hop for younger kids). He has also participated in the studio's summer camp programs for the past two summers (and will be returning again in July.) He has loved all his classes during the year (the staff are all just fantastic, through and through), and really enjoys the different camp themes each summer. (For instance, this summer he will be participating in a Unicorn, Mermaid and Pirate Camp!) The owner, Meghan, is extremely hands-on, and has many, many years of experience as a dance teacher. She and the teachers/staff really make a difference for dancers of all ages and levels. My son can be anxious about trying new things and meeting new people, and Meghan in particular has gone above and beyond to find ways to ease him in and make him feel super comfortable and confident. Also worth noting is how Dance 4u has lots and lots of boys taking dance classes. When my son first expressed interest in dancing at age 3, I remember being distraught over the fact that the majority of the local dance studios had very few boys enrolled, or none at all. Meghan turned this around for Dance 4u, and now almost every class at every level has boys enrolled. Three years ago, there were only 2 boys enrolled - my son and one other. Last month, I was overjoyed to see about 15 boys dancing in the recital! I love that Dance 4u encourages boys to dance. This has meant the world to me, as my son was quite discouraged from dancing when he felt that he would be the only boy. Finally, I wanted to add how pleased I was with another aspect of Dance 4u - the birthday parties! I had my son's 6th birthday party at Dance 4u, and it was perfect from start to finish. Birthday parties at Dance 4u are affordable and fun. You get to pick the style of dance you want, and even pick the teacher. Then the guests are able to learn a dance or two - and by the end, it's truly a sight to be seen! Everyone has a blast. If your child is interested in dance, and you are looking for a studio with highly experienced dance teachers and a warm, family vibe - this is the place for you!

The staff is friendly and while they will encourage you - they don't turn into drill Sargents, which isn't a technique I respond to while working out. There's a lot of cool equipment they utilize so it never gets boring. The total work out time is 45 minutes which I love because the class doesn't drag on.

We miss MnD, the only reason we left is because we moved out of state (7 hrs is a lil too far to…read moredrive for a dance class). Prior to our move my oldest daughter danced there for 15 yrs, she had her last recital this past June. We have loved all 15 yrs and wish we could have continued. Mia couldn't have been happier there and I'm am so happy she danced all 15 yrs at the same studio. Watching MnD grow into the studio it is now has been amazing. I wish them all the luck at the new location and can't wait to see it when we go to Philly for a visit. Our youngest daughter is so sad she will not be able to continue her dance career there. She started danced when she was 3, danced for a couple of yrs but wanted to play sports more, she left dance but then decided she wanted to go back, Miss Staci and MnD welcomed her back with open arms. Molly has made some of the best friends she could ask for at the studio. It has always been a welcoming space for parents and dancers. We are at a new studio and the difference is just mind boggling!!! I know I have to give this new studio a chance, but it's hard when you have been with such a GREAT dance family for so long. I keep asking where are the dance packets, when does intensive start, I need dates, I need more info. MnD needs to go around the country and teach other studios to do what they do, LOL. To be clear with this review, the star rating sits at a four since i LOVED Liv's Flexy class, but…read moredid not love the pole classes. I tried a pole class as someone who isn't the strongest or been active in a while and I definitely struggled. I was motivated to keep going, but I think I need my strength up before trying it again. The classes aren't small, so if I was struggling to do something it would sometimes take awhile to get help. I'm also a very visual learner and the instructor did not spend time on the pole herself to show us the moves. However, I absolutely LOVE liv's flexy class. On the website it doesn't have her name as the instructor yet, but as far as I know she's the only one teaching it right now. Liv is a great instructor. She's very tapped into every student in her class. She goes around the room to check in with students, shows different difficulty levels for each move, and demos every move multiple times with lots of instruction. In her class I've been able to move in ways I didn't think I'd be able to so early in my progress! I look forward to her class every week and I really hope they add more to the schedule. Very small parking lot and limited street parking, so take transit or walk if you can.

The last 2 years, have been a real fitness journey. They leave no stones unturned when asked to help you with something general, or something specific about your training, your goals, your commitment. An hour at CMPT is the highlight of many of my days! Personal thanks to Carlee, Cassie, Ashlyn, Stephanie, Angela, and everyone who works there or makes their way through the front door.
