Be sure to walk around and explore the entire floor, as there are more than double the amount of space/seats than what I expected initially, just on the first floor. Unfortunately, most of the seats are not equipped with outlets for charging, but the seats are comfy and make a great place to sit down and study or read. I also went upstairs to find even more couch/comfy chairs. The background music is a bit louder on the second floor but people are quieter and there is less commotion there. There are gender neutral bathrooms on both floors, but you need to ask for access at the security desk on the second floor. The security staff were nice and they printed out and gave me a sheet with a QR code that grants access to the restrooms for a few hours.

Crown Hill Plaza is quickly becoming my favorite local hangout. It's a miniature shopping area with…read morea Chevron gas station, a Blockbuster, a Papa John's Pizza, a McDonald's, and a few other businesses. What typically happens is I pick up some movies at Blockbuster (we have that movie club thing) and then go to either McDonald's or Papa John's for food and then get some gas. Sometimes I pick up a paper at the convenience store connected to McDonald's. The only troubling aspect is that some fucker always decides to park his or her car in the middle of the shopping center, NOT IN ANY PARKING SPOT but right in the middle of traffic. This shopping plaza gets a fair amount of traffic, so every time some ASSHOLE does this it's a huge inconvenience to everyone else and an accident waiting to happen. No one expects to drive into a shopping plaza and find a car right smack in the middle, 50 feet from the nearest parking spot. It's happened twice now and the cars have been parked there for several minutes at a time. I don't know if it's someone returning their videos or what, but that's why there are parking spots. Societies have rules, and when you break these rules there are consequences. If it happens again, fucker, I'll have my wife key your car (which she seems to have a fascination with) or I'll buy some tacks and leave them strategically placed near your tires.

I like to look for bargains - especially on artificial flowers (for the cemetery), greeting cards, sunglasses and reading glasses, stationary, kitchen gadgets, etc. I got a Stitch notebook and some hangers for my niece's closet... plus some artificial autumn leaves for my dad and grandparents. It was a good experience, especially because of the kind, efficient cashier. She managed the long line of customers well and had time to give me the key to the restroom and explain the location. At this parking garage, first 2 hours free and then only $4 for the next two hours. They do have someone in a vehicle come by and check cars. To pay for additional time, you just use a QR code next to the elevator and then pay online. Your car license plate lets them know which vehicle you are paying for. There are four locations in the area with the Downtown Seattle location in my opinion to be the best of them. Two floors of shopping, with the women's section on top and the men's and housewares on the lower level. Pricing is fairly moderate, though some items seem overpriced for the quality. They do carry a number of good brands like Levis here, but most I am not all that familiar with. They also seem to carry a decent selection of novelty shirts, though I do not know what makes these "urban". On occasion, the sales racks have some good deals. Though it feels like shopping at a thrift store since the section is sometimes a mess and the arrangement of the racks is random as opposed to Macy's file them by size method. I have to say that I do like Urban Outfitters. They do carry trendy, city-dweller apparel which helps to diversify my wardrobe. But it is one of those places that I only check out on occasion. It seems overpriced most of the time.
