The colony inside this wall was huge , but Timothy carefully collected the bees with their hive/comb and humanely relocated them.

Timothy really helped me out with a very large bee colony that was located inside the outer wall of my home. He was professional, informative and he walked me through the process so that I knew what to expect. He was a lot nicer, more informative, and had better pricing than other people I spoke to (other people were vague about pricing and did not explain the process). The BEST part is that the bee colony is humanely relocated (saving the bees!) and Timothy plans to save me some "home grown" bottles of honey when it is collected and processed! Highly recommend!

The unfiltered and raw wildflower blend. So good.

Almost everywhere we've traveled we've purchased the local honey. Naturally we've made it a point to purchase and have enjoyed several from our area, too. Today we opted to purchase from a small business/hive owner whose honey we'd heard raves about. Purchased a couple of bottles of what he currently had on hand: an unfiltered and raw wildflower blend that was delicate but delectably flavored. Since it would be the perfect accompaniment to PG Tips tea ... or drizzled over oatmeal ... or added to any number of recipes ... I think it's safe to say these two bottles will go pretty quickly. Owner Tim mentioned he may also have some sage honey coming from his hives in the not-too-distant future, so I'll be checking with him again soon so we don't miss out!

Tim came in and quickly assessed the situation and was able to open up the ceiling and gently remove the bees.

The company breeds healthy, gentle queen bees that have mite-resistant behaviors. Starting in 2011, the company began selling queen bees that are locally adapted to the California Coast. The California Bee Company also strives to encourage small-scale beekeeping and was started in 2005 by two college students. The California Bee Company offers lots of bee-related services such as producing and packing their own honey, bee education, candles (which I own and love!) bee pollen, bee pollination, bee propolis, queen bees, and swarm removal. A company like California Bee is vitally important because bees need our help! Colony Collapse Disorder has led to the decline of honeybee populations across the world since 2006. This disease is likely caused by a combination of problems such as loss of habitat and urban sprawl, multiple pesticide exposure. and the stresses of certain industrial bee-keeping practices-where hives never rest and the bees experience stress and immune disorders. However, the California Bee Company uses enlightened methods of bee-keeping. They sell raw, unfiltered, unheated honey of the finest quality. Furthermore, their website notes that their bees are conscientiously cared for using strictly natural methods, and they have never used synthetic pesticides in bee hives. This company is practicing safe stewardship of bees and their excellent products reflect that fact. 5 YELP STARS

The drive into the farm was so beautiful with the rolling green hills. Our tour guide took us up to the farm where we got to hold some of the baby goats. That was one of my favorite parts of the tour. Then we learned how they milk the goats and got to see where perfection was made.... The cheese! After the cheese aging room we went into the tasting room. That was my second favorite part of the tour! I loved trying all the cheeses that are in season. I was also excited to join the cheese club. It's different signing up randomly vs learning about the cheese making process and all the hard work that goes into making it at the farm. That's what got me to sign up for the cheese club. It makes you more excited to join the cheese club when you're there in person. Plus I like the exclusivity factor of some of the special cheese and things I get to experience. If I could change anything it would be to spend more time with the goats. I love animals. I could have held my baby goat for hours. I almost wish they had a tour where you could just go hang out with the goats. And then I also heard a rumor that they used to have ice cream. I would love to try the ice cream produced at this farm!! But other than that I would definitely do this again! I can see my future charcuterie boards with the delicious @stepladdercreamery cheese all over my boards. And it's so exciting!

I was very happy. - I was greeted while walking in the door and served quickly. I received a branded paper bag upon purchase. I love the branding overall and the downtown location is a quick walk from the Mission. - The furniture and place settings are perfect for the theme. However, I felt a bit lost when looking around the restaurant. The back wall is filled with fake florals and a neon sign in pink. Then, the wall by the bar features porcelain jester masks to represent Italy in red. The far wall has local art for sale. I suggest picking only one of these themes like the local artist portraits for a more focused ambiance.

I believe one of the owners came out to give me more info on the fruits used. Blueberry, Raspberry & Strawberry Jam. Yum! Definitely worth a try at Breda for a special occasion.
