Parking is on asphalt and convenient handicap parking closer to the stand. They take cash, credit cards and debit. Staff were friendly and engaging. What a cute little place. I can see why people love their avocados. I had questions: how to know when avocados are ripe? Lightly touch and see if there is a slight give. They had avocado body lotion, face and eye cream made from avocados. Had to buy their avocado oil (when in Rome). The guy was super helpful and answered all our questions. They have canadian white honey! I can spend 20 min in here looking. It is a tiny shop but lots of interesting stuff. They have others make their product. The guy said the 2022 tree is still producing avocados. Did you know avocado is a fruit! The farm has so many trees but you cannot walk and pick your own. You can't miss this farm from the road. Avocado trees... so many avocado trees!! I mean, thousands! Close to 30,000! Cute little gift shop with all sorts of great little items, including fresh avocados. The hand cream that they have on display (or at least the last couple times I've been in) is absolutely wonderful, no residue, slight smell, and a tiny little drop left my hands feeling silky smooth! There's BBQ sauces, salsas, soups, spices, lotions and skin care items. The lady working the counter can answer just about any questions you may have about California's favorite green fruit, plus advice on things you may want to purchase. Very informative and super sweet lady, thank you! You aren't guaranteed to have fresh avocados on each visit, but they sure do their best to give you some cream of the crop ones! Make sure you ask the best way to store the ones you buy, depending on their ripeness depends on how you store them! Just off the beaten path of Morro Bay. Popped in today for a few Haas avocados and found out they were out of season. So I got to talking to the gal who was working there and she was amazing! I wish I would have asked for her name! She explained the flavor differences and the texture differences of each of the fruits and suggested I try these varietals. She also showed me how to tell how each one is ripe/over ripe etc. So I learned something too!!! LOVE THAT. So picked up a few ettinger (which I have never heard of) and a zitano I think? Well anyway they are both thin skinned fruit and good for guacamole..... but I am on a weird diet right now so just enjoyed them with olive oil and salt and OH MY!!!! DELICIOUS! Forget run of the mill Haas supermart crappola.... come here. Avocado Farm that packs several varieties of reasonably priced fruit, that varies depending upon the time of year. The best deal is a huge box of the smooth skinned variety. Sure it is over-kill, but your friends & family will adored your excess. Strangely, few locals seem to know about this Mecca & while it is a drive from the Pismo Beach area, it is well worth a fresh fix. If you have any excuse to visit Morro Bay, Los Osos, Baywood, or points north, this is a must stop. It is also on the way toward Atascadero [& stop by Alle-pia Sausage for something to go with your Avos'] & Paso, if you are so inclined. Pretty Cool Place. We keep hearing about "morro bay avocado's" so we took a drive out on 41 today and the was an amazing Avocado Farm! They had a few in store items, of course all avocado based, so we took home some oil and a few pieces of fruit . The farm is easy to find and the staff was nice. She gave us a piece of fruit that was overripe to eat that night- gratis. We had the avocados on Taco night and they were the smooth & creamiest avocados i've had . Never been to an avocado farm even though I love all things avocado. It's a little bit out of the way if you are going to SLO by way of 101 but I had to meet someone in Los Osos Valley and I had a little extra time after to check this place out. Knowing me once I got to the place I am like a little kid running around looking at all the avocados hanging from the vines. There were a ton of trees some giant with with all sorts of different sized avocados hanging from the trees. Since I had never seen such an orchard I started taking pictures of all of the trees and close ups of the avocados. All of a sudden I get this guy coming out and telling me I am not allowed to wander around there orchard. I asked him if he was the owner and he said he was just an employee but that is what he was told. Liability if I trip and fall. Yada Yada... minus one star for that. Inside a small little storefront is where you buy the avocados. When I went they only had Hass and Bacon varieties and they were not too expensive at $1.50 per avocado. They also had a case of avocados which was a better deal but the guy told me that they need to be eaten in a couple of weeks and I was no matter how much I love avocados that was a bit much. I ended up getting 3 or so avocados of Hass. By the way the variety is named after a guy named Rudolph Hass who was a mail carrier in LA way back when. When I told the guy I wanted a "Hoss" avocado he had to immediately correct me. You don't say "Hoss" like you say HAAAsss as in Class. OK I felt pretty foolish and learned my avocado grammar. So don't come in here making wrong pronunciations, they don't take it very lightly:) They also sell a bunch of avocado related food items like chips and creams and bottles of avocado oil so but when I pressed the guy he admitted that they don't actually make the products from their avocados. He said they are farmers and that's all they have time for. OK just asking. When I got home I liked the avocados they were very nutty and creamy but they didn't last quite as long as I wanted. One started to get some black on the edges. It might have been from me traveling in hot weather and they were sitting in my car for a few day. Came in 10/14/17- place is small but very cute. I got some haas avocados for $1.50 each. Keep in mind that there is a $10 minimum for debit/credit card transactions. I didn't have any cash on me so I walked away with my three avocados and a $7 small bottle of avocado seasoning. I didn't mind spending the $7 on the seasoning. I love supporting local business whoever I can. The man behind the counter lacked customer service skills but I could tell that wasn't his normal job. So, overall he was ok. Tried selling us the $7 seasoning mix and it worked lol I will definitely be coming back. Their avocados are super creamy and chunky!!! Yum! Guacamole time! read more

These are the best avocados in the area by far. This stand has been here for many years by Bob Staller but I just visited for the first time a few months ago. I am sure I have eaten them locally before but It's still neat to discover new-to-you places when you have lived here your whole life. They have a few different types of Avos' when I was there. Haas and Bacon. I think they also have a Reed and Zutano variety. I am a big Haas fan and these did not disappoint. So rich and creamy. Perfectly ripe, fresh tasting and had that perfect texture of firm but easy to cut that I like. The bacon was good as well. A little more rich in my opinion but it was still quite good with higher oil content. I actually had an Albertson's Avo at home. After I came home from the stand I decided I would cut both and sample both together. Holy moly! The difference was very apparent. The store Avo was watery tasting, too firm even though it seemed ripe enough and really there was no Avocado taste just a watery green taste. These Morro Avos are so damn tasty you really need to have one. But be warned I now have to drive 40 minutes round trip to stock up on Avocados now. To add, the little county store is cute in itself. A nice open-air outdoor, tropical type set up. The people have always been friendly and helpful about avocado selection and how to choose and decide when to eat them. There are some small business made specialty items like soup mixes, oils, spices, mixes, snacks, some bath items and of course tons of Avocado based items. They also have an area out front to walk your dog and let it relieve itself but I don't think you can take them up to the stand. Definitely worth the stop even if it is 40 minute out of your way. Just remember to bring a knife and fork because you are going to want to slice that bad boy up in the car and eat it right then and there. read more

I was so thrilled to come across Morro Creek Ranch, first on Amazon, to be able to order avocados direct from the farm! My avocados arrived green and ripened over the following days. They were in great shape and tasted delicious - there really is a difference in fresh vs. store bought. I over ordered but ended up giving some away to very happy friends. After I received the avocados, I went to check out Morro Creek's website and found that I could purchase them directly, still with free shipping, but without Morro Creek suffering the Amazon tax so I'll now be ordering direct. Great place! Pros: GREAT avocados! Super close and easy to find and park. Reasonable prices for avocados and most things in the store. Very friendly service. Love the spice blend they sell! The lotion (though one of the more pricey items) is really luxurious feeling and does not smell like perfume. I am allergic to EVERYTHING and this did not bother me at all. Cons: No tours of the orchards or being able to handpick your own avocados. Some items seem really expensive (but most of it ok). Bottom Line: Go here and buy some avocados (and some lotion, salsa, and anything else that strikes your fancy) and make some guacamole! I did! :-) read more

The best avocados I have ever tasted!!!!!! Definitely worth stopping by. Avocados are $1.25 each comparable to grocery store prices but so much better than grocery store avocados in taste! Hubby and I found this cool country store on our way to Morro Bay. We were on the hunt for fresh local avocados. I couldn't believe the price! Huge Bacon, Haas, and Ettinger avocados ranging from 50 cents to a $1.00 each. We bought several of each kind. We also bought some avocado oil for cooking, and a medley of plum, basil, spice, champagne, and Tuscan flavored vinegars. We both are good cooks and love to experiment with new products. If you're ever in or around Morro Bay, STOP HERE. We picked up some fresh avocados, Bacon and Hass, which ripened in a few days and were the best I've ever tasted. They also carry "This is serious" avocado hand & face cream, which I fell in love with as soon as I used the tester on my hands. It's velvety and moisture-rich and it kind of disappears into your skin, leaving them soft and not greasy at all. Lastly, the honey. All kinds of honey are sold here, including raw white honey, which we also purchased but have yet to try. I don't doubt it will be amazing. read more
