Receipt - A restaurant receipt from Bali's Restaurant located at 59 Essex Street, Lawrence, MA, displays the server's name, station, and order number. It lists three fried items—cheese, salami, and green plantains—with prices, along with subtotal, tax, and total amounts. Payment details include cash and Visa tendered, with change due. The receipt is crumpled and printed on thermal paper.

Highway robbery smh!!! $7 for 3 slices of SALAMI. $7 for half fried plátanos $7 for 3 slices of fried cheese. I eat this dish everywhere I go and I have NEVER NEVER have been charged more then $13-15 Max! I'm so upset not becarse of the price but just overall. I understand things aren't cheap anymore. But a $24 tab for this meal is absurd seriously

I've been to this place many times for great food and great atmosphere! I was there last night and had a great time as usual! We had a variety of dishes, but the one that stood the most was lobster stuff with shrimp! The dish was fantastic!

a plate of food on a table - The image shows a white square plate with partially eaten fried chicken pieces, French fries, and ketchup smeared on the plate. A serrated knife and a fork rest on the plate. In the background, there are two drinks: one in a mason jar with a straw and lemon slices, and another in a tall glass of water. Condiments, including ketchup, are also on the table. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a restaurant or bar.

If you want good chicken, real chicken, chicken chicken, this is the place for you. Other things on the menu looked good but I'm a chicken guy and this place has it by the barrel. Great service too. Requested a drink that wasn't on the menu and they happily made me 'their' version of the drink which happened to be the best I've tried yet.

Bali's is really nothing fancy, it's a hole in a wall pretty similar to other bars in Lawrence. But like the old saying "good things come in small packages" that's what u get with Bali's. Just be sure it's your type of vibe, it's very much geared to the Latin/Caribbean crowd. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was fantastic, get yourself the sampler, comes with fried cheese, tostones, meat, salad, veggies, it's got it all. On one side of the club u have the music going with the bar and small side tables, great music from old school to new new school, beer buckets, just a great vibe, though a little tight as you can imagine. Then on the further side you have the karaoke with tables all around and a large screen to sing along. The Karaoke offered a great list of songs, the DJ kept everyone entertained the entire night. Bali's is perfect for small groups looking to sing the night away, enjoy great food, maybe catch the game on one of their TV sets. I can see it being an issue moving around during a busy night, if there is a flaw it's in the available space.

a bowl of soup with a ring on it - The image shows a round container filled with a yellow, oily substance that appears to be a soup or broth, with black specks scattered throughout. In the center, there is a black ring with a piece of seaweed attached, floating on the surface. The container's edge is visible, and the overall appearance suggests a food item, possibly a soup or broth with seaweed.

Food is great. Great music but ordered to go and found a rubber band in my food. Didn't eat it because that's is not appetizing to find in your food. I figured to pay more /plus tip/ and wait longer/ struggle to find parking (compared to the food at convenience stores that's a fraction of the price) for better food but I guess it was a miss.

Bali's appetizer the yuca was cold an I give complain they bought fresh ones but went good came the beens was cold . - The image shows a large square white plate with a variety of Latin American foods. There are fried plantains, a small salad with shredded lettuce and carrots, a slice of tomato, and a portion of fried yuca. The plate also contains cooked meats, including beef and possibly sausage, with some vegetables like carrots and onions. The setting appears to be a restaurant with a dark wooden table, a wine glass, and napkins nearby.

Omg I went yesterday an I bought a appetizer an steak with onions ,white rice , beens , the steak no favor , the appetizer no flavor an cold , the beens cold . Not a good place to go to eat before was delicious no more . Waste my money mad.

I went looking for mofongo. It was ok. I ate churrasco. The wait was terrible. Had to wait around 45 mins for the food.

After a long afternoon of shopping, my friends and I built up and appetite. We wanted something…read morequick that would calm our hunger for the drive home to RI. One of my friends was more familiar with the area and recommended we come here. She ordered a plate of fried pork with tostones, some guisado de res, and white rice. The total was around $20 which was fair for the portion sizes. The guisado was a bit oily but the flavor was really good and the meat was very tender. Since the tostones did not come with a sauce, we ended up dunking them in the guisado. The tostones were on the thicker side but crispy and tasty. The fried pork was good, although maybe a little bland. The lime helped a little bit with bringing out the flavor. The white rice was good. They offer a small, medium, and large portion - small was good as a snack for 3 people. I would come back and try more of their menu items. They have a parking lot, but it was packed and the snow didn't help. There is also street parking. It is in a lively part of town, so I enjoyed people watching while eating in the car.

There's a large dining/ bar area and a takeout side with a few tables. We ordered the sancocho and rabo guisado (Oxtails), with white rice and plantains. The sancocho was pretty good. It had a lot of meat and vegetables, the white rice was perfectly cooked. I thought the sancocho had a bit too much garlic in the seasoning, but it was still great, especially since it was rainy and a bit chilly. The Oxtails were simply amazing! They were extremely tender and practically falling off the bone. The sauce was seasoned perfectly and paired well with the white rice. I've never had Oxtails this good at a restaurant. They tasted just like when mom recipe takes hours and hours to make since you want to cook it long enough for the meat to become tender. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came pretty quickly. Prices were very reasonable. If I'm back in the area, I will definitely return and order the Oxtails.
