There was enough back-and-fort texting to indicate she was not busy. I asked if the $25 deposit would be refunded upon arrival, since the service was already fully paid for via Groupon. She said no, because I "am not a member." I then asked if I could at least apply the $25 toward my tip. Again, she said no, claiming the "booking fee" is completely separate. This is false advertising. I contacted Groupon for a refund. Initially, they only offered Groupon credit, but I pushed back, explaining I never would have purchased the deal had the extra $25 fee been disclosed. They finally agreed to refund my original credit card. Save your time and money--hopefully, Groupon removes this merchant from their site entirely.

After going back-and-forth, I let her know that those other dates/times didn't work for me and if I could just rebook online? She then told me she would come in for me for the original date and time I booked. Fast forward to a week later, the day of the appointment, I arrive 15 minutes early as I expect to fill out new patient paperwork and don't want to be late. At that same moment, I received a text from Gina saying that she would be late to come in 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, which is 30 minutes after the time I actually arrived. I told her I would wait in my car until she arrived. I almost asked to just cancel my appointment and refund me my deposit, but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. She didn't apologize or acknowledge being late. After filling the forms I had to check on her in the waiting room because she didn't come in to collect the forms (she was on her phone). Then when I was undressed and waiting under the blanket on the table for 5-10 mins I said "I'm ready" out loud because she hadn't come in yet! She came in with her phone open and in her hand so I assume she was preoccupied. The massage was itself was ok, just really strong and painful in some parts. I could tell when she was massaging my legs she was on her phone because she only was using one hand, the massage for both of my legs wasn't the same, and I felt her phone vibrate around 20 times during the massage. At the end when I let her know I could feel her phone vibrate and it was extremely distracting she apologized and said she had it on the table. That is really unprofessional and concerning. I hate to give such a low review because Gina was nice and really tried to relieve my back pain but I will not be coming back.
