I went to Bala Eyebrow Threading yesterday and had a really good experience. This place is located right across from Home Depot on your right if you're going down Antelope Rd. For some reason, using my maps didn't help. Siri has a funny way of getting you places.... But luckily I know the area so I had a pretty good idea of where I was going. Anyway I think this might just be my 2nd go-to place for threading from now on. I go to the bay often so I usually get mines done out there but when this is more convenient for me than the place in the bay, this location will for sure be my go to here in Sac. Originally, it's $8 for eyebrows but if you use the check-in here on yelp, you get $2 off (although I don't know if it's some sort of limited time type of thing). Balbir (assuming that's her name since that's what all the reviews say) is such a sweet lady. She welcomed me with a nice greeting when I walked in and she's really friendly. The type of thread she uses hurts alot LESS than other places I've gone to thread my eyebrows here in Sac (like Beauty by Thread). &I don't know of any other places around here that will thread your eyebrows for only $6 and do an awesome job at it. I did have to go back in once I got home and clean up my eyebrows a little bit because there were some very scarce hairs left on my eyelid but nonetheless, you can't find anywhere else that will beat their price and service (or at least I haven't). After Balbir left BBT, it just wasn't the same. I did find someone equivalent to her TBH, but IDK where she is, and she's been gone for 3 months...so, I had to choose someone else and I did not like the turnout. Love this place. On a last minute desperate attempt (Sunday early evening) I found this place via Yelp. My regular eyebrow shaping place (wax not thread) was too busy for me. The other one (my backup spot) was closed. I had my eyebrows threaded years ago and never had a problem with it, I just like the waxing better...or at least I thought I did...this place has changed me for the better lol! My eyebrows still look great with minimal regrow and it's been a good 2 weeks now. In terms of the location...the outside area isn't all that great, but inside is so clean and sterile looking . It was hot outside but a nice cool fan and a.c. kept me cool inside. I was immediately greeted when I walked in (by "the husband"). His wife walked out, greeted me, walked me through the process noting that it might be a bit painful since I haven't had threading done in so long.
