He spoiled her eye so much that no doctor undertakes to fix it. Without asking us,he put only a distant vision crystal, put some kind of stent for glaucoma, which my mom did not have, and even managed to put the crystal displaced, and not in the center. After all this, he told my mom that the problem was in her head, and not in the way how badly he performed the surgery and just ruined my mom eye. If the light of your eyes is important to you and you want to preserve your eyesight ,Dr. Havunjian is the last person in the world to whom you can trust with your eye vision. Such doctors should be restricted from patients and from performing any kind of surgery. Vision is one of the important senses do not trust it to Havunjian.

I called the office six times before finally reaching a live person. When I requested not to be put on hold, I was placed on hold regardless. After the individual returned to the line, I asked why, and her reply was, "What do you want, I am busy." I pointed out her rudeness, and she promptly hung up on me. My subsequent calls went unanswered. When I called later in the day, someone picked up the phone, but it seemed to be an accidental pickup, as I could hear an unrelated conversation between the receptionist and a patient, which I found odd. I have been a patient at this office for over 30 years and have never experienced any issues until now. However, I have concluded that the current frontline employees are incapable of providing professional service or even basic politeness, so I will be seeking care from a new eye provider. I attempted to call the office to speak with the office manager to request that my medical records be sent to another medical professional. I was informed the office manager was unavailable and that someone named Helen would contact me regarding my records; however, I have still received no communication from the office.

The medical system would be a significantly better place if other providers and insurances had their level of communication, patience, and empathy. They truly treat me like they care about me as a human and not just an appointment to profit from. I had an issue with my insurance that I didn't learn about until showing up for my appointment and it caused a lot of stress. It's something I have to navigate way too often with my insurance and I got overwhelmed. Most of the time, administrative staff can be very rude and dismissive when this occurs. However, they were able to help me navigate the issue with patience and kindness. They gave me some suggestions for other insurances, so that I can receive better care in the future. Dr. Mardian listens fully to my concerns and is very kind. He somehow makes eye exams feel like a holistic experience and is more attentive than most primary care doctors I've been too. I frantically called and the front desk simply asked if I could get there right then, took my name, and asked me to show up. They worked me into the schedule and got me all fixed up (something had embedded into my eye lid). Everyone was incredibly kind and I could not be more thankful. They were also incredibly kind to everyone else there in the waiting room.

Very disappointed with how this office handled my insurance claim. They billed my medical insurance…read moreinstead of my vision insurance for a routine eye exam, despite having my insurance information on file. When I brought the issue to their attention, rather than correcting their mistake, they instructed me to spend my own time contacting the insurance company to sort it out. Patients should not be responsible for fixing billing errors made by the provider's office. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to assist with resolving the issue was frustrating and unprofessional. I expect healthcare providers to take responsibility for their billing practices and advocate for their patients when errors occur. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
