They were sweet and easy, enjoying the music and ordering drinks here and there throughout the night. Toward the end of our closing band's set, one of the people in the group gifted me with a box of Italian cookies from Marianna's, his family's bakery. I was so surprised and delighted by this unexpected gesture. In a world that's very busy and super crowded, these sweet people went out of their way to thank me in the most thoughtful way I can imagine. If I lived in Connecticut, I'd be a regular customer for sure. And not just because the family behind the bakery is so lovely. I shared Marianna's assorted cookies with staff throughout the bar and they were fantastic! I adore almond cookies and their marzipan-filled almond cookies are IT. Thank you for coming in and being the best, y'all!

Nice thin crispy outside, and all with that trademark shape - perfect for my Santa Maria Tri-Tip BBQ feast at my parent's place for their big summer party. Total 100% success because of Mana Bakery! I asked my friend who speaks Spanish to call with me, and he was able to translate, which is fine, but you should know, I'm not sure if anyone that runs the bakery speaks English. For me that is the perfect indication of traditional food prep, so wonderful! I know a little Spanish, and used a translator on my first call, but then had to call in my buddy. We had a laugh about it, and some fun, and sure enough, when I showed up a week later to drive from Simsbury to Meriden, my order was ready, and it was only $1 per roll. Just fantastic. Gracias, Mana Bakery! Quiero que sepas que realmente hiciste una diferencia para mi fiesta y nos hiciste muy felices a todos. ¡¡Muchas gracias!!

Once again I had difficulty choosing a breakfast pastry because all looked so mouth watering. This time I settled on a pair of blueberry buns that proved to be larger than expected so on returning home my wife and I decided to share one and save the other for the following day. Unfortunately the outside of the bun was too dense and flavor lite though the much smaller, interior part, was as delicious as expected. I will no doubt be returning in the not too distant future to sample more of their delicious pastries as should you.

I am very pleased with the service because even though the employee who assisted me was clearly baking beforehand, he did not rush or shoo me away. He was very friendly. I am a fan and I hope more folks check this bakery out. When I went it seemed they were only making breads. Not sure if they do other baked goods.

I picked up an assortment of Danish pastries to share, and they were a hit. Everyone loved them, which made gift-giving easy and stress-free. It's always nice finding something that feels thoughtful and is appreciated by so many people. Of course, I couldn't leave without picking up a few treats for myself. I brought home the chocolate hazelnut and coconut ice cream flavors, and both were absolutely delicious. The chocolate hazelnut was rich and creamy, while the coconut had a refreshing flavor that was perfect for a warm day. I also purchased two breakfast pastries. One was a raspberry-flavored pastry that I really enjoyed. The other was supposed to be filled with vanilla, but the filling tasted different than I expected. It wasn't my favorite item, but with so many options available, that's bound to happen sometimes. The selection was impressive, everything looked fresh, and there was something for every sweet tooth. Whether you're stopping in for dessert, breakfast pastries, ice cream, or gifts for a special occasion, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and discover a few new favorites.
