I've met the lovely owner Lorie and her sweet candy maven (ugh I hate when I can't remember her name- sorry doll!) It's a fun little stop for a treat or some of their dangerous fudge! Let's talk a little about the treasure boutique inside called Wildflower! Omg. Ok, so my kidlets think whatever I like is just not cool. Then, my oldest strolled in with me and not only loved the chocolates- but near everything at Wildflower boutique. She *had* to have this super cute patchwork jacket, loved the distressed overalls, some of their cute tees, etc. I was thrilled! Something in common with my kidlets!!! My youngest liked the little handmade cat items- it's constantly changing. So another reason to venture into Marianne's is the Adventure of "Wildflower!" Super cutie cute cute!

I had a table in the corner and got settled in with a book and ordered a Hugo Spritz. The cocktail was refreshing and light, and I really enjoyed it. I decided on a Cesar Salad, nothing too special there, but it was a generous size and fresh greens. I ordered a bowl of mussles, again, generous sized portion, and I liked that they had 2 preparations - garlic and white wine (always a good choice) or Diablo, and I went with the spicy tomato! The sauce was great, kind of spicy, with good crusty bread to dunk. The mussels themselves were OK, not the best quality seafood I've ever had, but still a nice dinner. And I also had the fried ravioli, which I cannot resist, ever, and dunked it in the spicy sauce. The house bread was a really nice foicaccia, with a confit garlic and butter to smear all over it. Really great. The service was excellent! She was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and also great at timing, kind of letting me hang out and enjoy my dinner. I'd probably go back to try some other fun menu items, and their chocolate and cocktail (and chocolate cocktail) menu is intriguing.

Street parking is ample. There was only one other couple dining when we were there and they also seemed to be having a great time. The restaurant seemed very adamant about reservations being made in advance either by phone or their website (their hours are very limited, so reserving online is much easier). The food is very tasty, though the options are very limited (4 entrees and 2 specials). I believe this allows the small staff to create really delicious, fresh, and special plates. You can tell they take pride in their food and put love into everything on the plate. The vegetarian special, the eggplant parmesan, was made with quality cheese and the pasta was wildly fresh. The steak meal had the most delicious bourbon glazed carrots I've ever eaten. The menu mentions the availability of vegan alternatives. Our server was excited to talk about the ingredients and cooking process and was attentive and kind the entire meal. She really worked to ensure that everything was perfect. The restaurant is on the second floor of the building (fairly steep stairs) with one or two tables downstairs in the gift shop area, so be very mindful if accessibility is a concern.

I was struck by the interesting architecture and proposed that we take a walk, which brought us to a delightful wine bar. We were very happy we decided to go inside! This historic location has a remarkable menu; I chose the walleye and walnut salad, and my partner had the ribs. There were many other dishes I wished we could try if we had been hungrier. The service was excellent, and the revitalized waterfront area is definitely worth exploring. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The pond by the bakery is beautiful and makes for great photo spots. One thing we really appreciated was that it was way less hectic than Patterson's. We loved being able to do a little bit of everything--apple picking, grabbing treats, taking photos--without the insane lines or crowds. Do expect a long line at the bakery, but it moved surprisingly fast, and there was plenty of seating once you got your food, which was a nice bonus. Now for the famous cider slushies and donuts: they're definitely cute and very Instagrammable, but for us, they didn't quite live up to the hype--probably not worth the one-hour drive from Cleveland just for those alone. Taste-wise, they were good but pretty average. That said, we still had a great time overall! We enjoyed some treats, went apple picking, and got some lovely fall foliage shots. A fun fall outing overall!

The tiny, $5 danish I bought was cold but still tasted pretty good. This candy apple was over $16. The hoodies are $45...just not really worth what they charge. Either add more attractions to justify the prices or drop them by about 30% and it'd be worth it but I won't be going back any time soon.

I usually get my 3 item BBQ combo so I don't stand there salivating at the menu and looking like a crazy person. lol! I love the combos as you can gather up the delicious BBQ sauces (do NOT tell me to pick one- I will cry as every single one is delicious). Should out to the mustard one. This girl here does not like mustard- and I usually snag two containers of that magic stuff. If you go in the afternoon during the summer- you get a beautiful view of the Harbor bridge and some awesome sailboats breezing by. The staff is smiling and fast. The only downside is- the BBQ is so good, our friends the local bees want it all to themselves and have been known to chase me around a few chairs outside. lol. I'm still leaving my 5 star because I'm not letting the bees win. Not sharing Mr Bumble, so buzz off. Literally.

We came across The Little Pie Shop & Cafe and decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! When we arrived, we were told there could be about an hour wait. I'm not a big breakfast person, so I ordered the BLT with potato chips, and it was delicious. The rest of my party ordered breakfast items, and everyone raved about their meals. The portions were generous, prices very reasonable and everyone agreed the food was excellent. The real star of our visit, though, was the pie! i ordered a slice of the strawberry rhubarb and it was absolutely fantastic.
