Is there a negative rating? That is what they get from us!…read more Lies, Lies, Lies. Most incompetent communication we've ever experienced. Excuse after excuse. Most frustrating year of unprofessional contractors, long unnecessary delays and we still don't have a finished pool. We started our pool with PPNS - Mike & Tina Hampton 4-4-24. It is now 5-29-25 and no pool!! Our yard has been a complete mess for the entire time. Please find another contractor to do your pool!! PPNS are a complete waste of time and money, not to mention the huge disappointment and frustration we have had to endure!!

I have been reading many of their reviews over the past year and it saddens me to see such nastiness towards 2 people that really will do everything in their power to always make it right. My advice to anyone that is going to have a pool installed, remember most happy people don't run to Google to write their reviews. I have been meaning to write this for them for over a half year but have been too busy loving everything about our pool and entertaining. The entire process is exciting and a journey no doubt. Remember no ground is the perfect canvas. A rendering is a great start and vision but flexibility for obstacles, weather, supply chains, and more is paramount. A customer's attitude will make a difference. Yes, neighbors will not like the mess, and yes, you will get frustrated when you get rained or snowed out, but in the end, it is all worth it. It is amazing. Mike is the most knowledgeable pool person I have ever encountered, and he is always eager to share with you why etc. Our process was during COVID, and he found ways to keep it moving despite crews getting sick on him and so much more. He always calls back (yes, sometimes you must wait a bit, grow up) and when he does, he makes time to make sure you understand. I encourage anyone to reach out to me and I would be more than happy to share it all. The most important thing is you want someone who knows what they are doing and will make it right when things go astray. But remember he can't just wave a magic wand and do things not originally promised. An upgrade cost is more, duh. But the nice thing is by-and-large he ran right on budget and everything we received has been beautiful and a joy to show off to our family and friends. Thanks, team Premier Pools N. St. Louis, and thanks for being patient with my review. I highly recommend them to you and your family.

My above ground pool took over a year to be able to swim in, and the work is not all completed to…read morethis day. I've not heard from the company in months (it all started in April of 2021). 1. THE POOL IS UNLEVEL BY ABOUT 6 inches. 2. When installed, the skimmer was placed about 1/3 of they way around the pool from the pump with PVC pipe running that distance. 3. The crown layer of my retaining wall has not been installed. 4. The pool was filled last year, but no one came to close it, as I was told would happen (due to being a 1st time pool owner, I was trusting, but now my hope and prayer is that no one ever has to endure what I have, with this company. 5. Lack of or NO communication, even after expressing communication was a huge issue for me. 6. i filed with the BBB, but they did not receive a reply from Jeremy Baum, the owner. 7. The piece of the trim on the outside of the pool was cut into, in order to fit around the skimmer, should not have happened. 8. The pool pump has no way to stop the water from rushing out when I remove the lit to clean the basket. 9. No schooled instructions were given on how to properly treat the pool, open or close it. I've had to learn most things on You Tube or ask co-workers who have pools. 10. They needed to pull a pool permit for my location, and the paperwork was sent to St. Louis County, instead of the City of Florissant. I did my own checking, and that's what happened. I pull permits on a regular basis, and that was the first mistake that should not have happened and slowed down the whole process for over a month in the beginning. 11. Jeremy met me to pick out the rock to go around my pool. I made it clear that i couldn't afford the one I liked, so I would go with plain white. He said lets get what you LIKE, and he would cover the cost. The rock company told me we needed much more that what Jeremy ordered, so now, I have the rock I like, but there was no landscaping paper laid, and it doesn't cover all the dirt. 12. My beautiful lawn was destroyed having the mountain of dirt on it for nearly a year. Jeremy Baum always had plenty of reasons and excuses why my job wasn't completed or on the back burner. I was kind, patient and understanding for over a year. I finally gave him an earful and he tried to turn it around on me....trust me, you don't want this company! in closing, I could go on....and these are not my opinions, these are factual errors & poor workmanship and customer service that i have to live with, or pay to fix, because the company just doesn't seem interested in completing the job. I paid him when asked, so I would expect a job completed to satisfaction. Sincerely Shelly B

I ran by R and S, and they were able to give me the insight I needed, the part to replace and the pool chemicals I needed to kick this algeas butt. Pricing was on par with Amazon, but I didn't have to wait two days to get the parts and chemicals. With algea you don't have time to sit with your thumb up your butt, you need it fixed right then, and right now!!! Gotta support these local businesses because pool and spa supply just cannot be an online only business. Try them out, utilize their expertise and keep the patronage going so you always have a helping hand when it comes to pool maintenance!!!

I hate giving bad reviews but this is the 3rd year R&S has opened my pool with consistent issues…read more (they close it as well). So third strike.. I've gotta find someone better!! We never see the same techs returning. And we've had issues every single year. It's like they hire new guys each summer and they're clueless. Last year I was told by a tech, he "didn't know the system." This year the pressure valve on the filter was left open, I had a pressure code on my heater (so it was not functional) because I had no pressure to the system with the valve open! I found one of my jet covers in 2 pieces in the middle of the pool. A plug was left on the ground by the system. My pool entry handle is so loose, I've got to tighten it. The system was not primed properly, done with such little water the box was smoking hot when we opened it. I'm thankful I didn't loose a motor. I've called with a couple of questions trying to troubleshoot these issue but was given some bad information. He gave me an electrician's number for the heaters PS code?? I'm sorry they can be the nicest people but this is their profession, not mine. I shouldn't have to go behind them to fix things that are wrong and effecting pool operations or done with little to no care of correct outcomes. Especially for what is charged. I would think a pool opening includes ensuring the system is functioning correctly and if something is not, then notify the owner before driving away. Which they never do check out and let us know how it went or any issues that need addressing. The process is piss poor to say the least.
