It's as if I was a kid again eating an imaginary meal at a play set. But the meal is far from imaginary... With a limited menu that changes regularly, they prepare rich meals of both quality and quantity. I had a sausage and potato stuffed omelet with carmelized onions that was a very delicious monster. Quite often, home fries are either greasy, or over-cooked, or even over-seasoned, but these were perfect. It seemed as if they had just pulled the potatoes from the ground that morning. My girlfriend had the best, "meatiest" tomato soup I have ever tasted, and her gourmet grilled cheese blew my mind. (If I didn't love her so much, I would have stolen it from her!) For dessert, we had white-chocolate raspberry cookies that were yummy beyond reproach. (The cakes in the dessert display may bring people to tears.) The service was also wonderful and the coffee really hit the spot. Reservations recommended and there is parking in the rear of the establishment.

When I told my friend who gave me the cake a year ago, she confirmed that she too had a bad experience here recently. This bakery changed. Can no longer recommend this bakery.

It was a piece of bacon! Thankfully I'm not a vegetarian, but maybe place the maple and maple bacon apart? My friend is a vegan and thankfully she didn't decide to try a maple one. Overall, will definitely return when I visit Allentown!
