I went there today. The food was fine as usual. The issue came up when I went to the restroom. The door had a hook that you could use to open the door instead of the handle. I decided to use it. The edge was very sharp and tore my arm, see photo below. I did tell a person who said he was the manager, no name plate so I'm not sure. If you go there, please comment about whether they have fixed it.

The receipt as we received it! 2 burrito ultimos! No Mexicano, no enchilado style

Ordered online! Told 18 minutes, showed in 20! Only one person at counter, 4 others cooking and verifying orders! Burrito ultimate and burrito Mexicano enchilado style. My order was ready on time but I had to wait until the order taker was free to give me my incorrect order! Of course I didn't realize until I got home so it's a little hard to chastise at this point other than yelp! So 2 ultimos, no Mexicano, no enchilado style, way overcooked chips (resorted to tostitos, way better tonight). Total waste. I will give them credit though! They got 5 of the 6 salsa sides correct! Will use Sherwood or chipotle next time

When I was a kid growing up in Michigan during the 2000s and early 2010s, I loved dining at the Baja Fresh in Troy. But, the place closed by 2015. I was ecstatic when I found this place south of Portland off of I-5. The food at this location was delicious, and I had it 6 times during my stay in the Portland area from May 29th to June 2nd, 2023. I ordered diablo burritos (shrimp, wahoo, chicken, and roasted veggies) with sliced avocado added into it. Wahoo is a type of white fish. The roasted veggies was green & red bell peppers and onions. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and chicken taquito, which were also quite flavorful. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup twice here. It's my favorite tortilla soup out of any place I've dined at. It's a savory brown broth with chicken, onions, chips, & avocado. The guacamole is the best out of any fast food Mexican restaurant. The salsas offered at the bar are excellent. Lastly, I love the fact the tortilla chips and freshly made. The service was quick and professional. The ambiance is spacious, clean, and modern. This restaurant is better than Chipotle, Qdoba, and even El Pollo Loco. I strongly recommend trying the Baja Fresh in Lake Oswego. It would be quite a pleasant surprise for fast food Mexican.

    Really good food.

Stand out food and very friendly and attentive service. Lengua tacos - perfectly cooked fall apart lengua and the portions are generous! Rice and beans - at last a place that knows how to season their rice and make some cheesy creamy beans!!! Chile relleno burrito - so much flavor! They did right by the humble poblano pepper and actually took the time to roast it - and you can tell - the smoky sweet poblano flavor really comes through and the breading around it even though it's sandwiched in a burrito layered with cheese and rice stays perfectly in tact. This burrito is a stand out. Guacamole - perfect. You can tell there's no filler it's all avocado, tomatoes and lime. Complimentary Salsas- deep and rich smoky salsas, zingy and tangy avocado line salsas - these salsas pack so much depth of flavor - you'd never expect this caliber of salsa from something housed in a squirt bottle. Flan - oh yes, come hither. Reach and creamy with a lot of body and just the right level of sweetness. If you love Mexican food and have had your heart broken by the mediocre meh-ish food options around the metro area - come here !!!

I'm a California transplant who's lived in the NW going on six years now...and can safely say this…read morespot has some of the most authentic Mexican eats I've ever had on this side of the river (maybe even all of PDX ). Fresh, clean, simple and packed with flavor is the best way to describe the food here. Atmosphere is casual and inviting. The staff are friendly and ready to help work through the menu or any questions you might have. It's certainly a breath of fresh air for LO's restaurant scene and personally my new favorite spot. Their "rival" Holy Taco, honestly, doesn't even hold a candle to this new spot. They both offer different takes on Mexican cusine but if you're looking for simple flavor and not a taco deep fried or with strange jam, this is the place for you. Another highlight is the simplicity of their menu and price point. Even though I miss my carnitas, the way they prepare the chicken for their chicken taco mended my carnita heart instantly. Absolutely order their guacamole no matter what, you're doing yourself an honest favor. The house sauces are straight fire, red one being my current favorite. I wish the business all the best with growth and can't wait to come back with friends/family. :) Thank you for bringing something I've missed so much back in CA to the NW, traditional delicious Mexican food. Keep on killin' it y'all!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday night…read more We ordered chips and guacamole (no cheese) to start. I got a spicy margarita and he got a tamarind margarita. The chips were hot and salty which was to my liking. Overall a solid choice. I really liked his margarita a little bit better than mine. It had a nice sweeter mix and hit the spot . The spicy one was like a 3 out of 5 but it was strong. We got some tacos without cheese. We landed on 2 carnitas and 3 pastors. I had wanted the carne asada but I learned it had dairy in it. No worries there. Both tacos were delicious and I liked the pastors just a little bit more than the carnitas Overall a small restaurant but has some decent Mexican street tacos.

The woman who assisted us was very friendly and gave us a take home menu so we could call in our order instead of waiting. We were home quickly and got started. The asada burrito was very well seasoned, great ratio of asada and other ingredients and great price for the size. The carnitas quesadilla was good but nothing exceptional. I was happy I could get 2 different proteins with the taquitos but unfortunately the meat inside was overdone and I could not tell what I was eating. The outside had a great crisp but the inside left me wondering what it was. I would definitely come back for the asada burrito and the quesadilla.
