This place had been on my list for a minute. Mixed reviews kept me from trying it sooner. But I am so glad I decided to give this place a shot. Came here with my husband for a lunch date. I immediately liked the decor and the vibe of the place. We started with the jalepeno onion rings, which were amazing. Not too hot. The sauce was so good. Perfectly cooked rings. No soggy batter. I ordered the blood orange jalapeño soda as my drink. I was hoping it would lean more blood orange but the jalepeno was very strong and it was very spicy. You've been warned. After the hot jalapeño drink I was nervous about the habanero burrito I ordered. No worries needed. It tasted great and wasn't too hot. My husband ordered the birria which was very good. We had a lovely time and the food was great. Service was just okay. Price is a bit high if you are comparing to other Mexican/Tex Mex type of restaurants but the food is more elevated and unique and worth paying a bit more for. we have lunched here several times so we were expecting the same experience. we sat, the waitress came and took our order, but somehow she hit the full glass of water, it went everywhere, I was soaked my silk shirt and pants were dripping I looked like I had urinated through my pants, OK, it was an accident but what followed was the most terrible experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I'm soaking I said, but I didn't mean to do it she said but that doesn't stop me dripping everywhere and I'm going to have to send my clothes to the cleaner, you can't wash silk. Open kitchen area that allows onlookers to view the chefs while their food is being prepared. Drinks could be sweeter but that could be a personal preference. I ordered the prickly pear and the El Diablo. There is a charge for chips and salsa. Chips are thick and hearty and the salsa has a slightly smoky finish to it. We ordered the Brisket Enchilada w/Poblano cream sauce and the Birria. They were excellent. The meat texture and flavor is fantastic. Football game was on near the corner of the bar. Bathrooms located at the front of the restaurant and ample seating for various sizes of groups. Plenty of parking. Staff was friendly and service was super fast. read more

If you're looking for a place to grab happy hour, dinner, lunch, or Sunday brunch- la Industria is a great go-to! We went for brunch during Sunday football and the staff was welcoming, attentive, and happy to let us hang their as the game played on. The food was A+, a breakfast burrito bowl & some enchiladas. Food was okay, portions small, just like their drinks, not worth the price. Atmosphere was nice. We had a party of 5 adults and 4 children ages 2-8. We were automatically charges 20% gratuity on a $260 bill, no option to choose. The waiter said we can leave an additional tip if we wished because 8% goes to the back of the house staff and he gets the rest. Well $31 (12%) to the watier is more than generous for subpar service and food. Furthermore, if the restaurant wants to implement a tipping arrangement with it's employees, the onerous should not be on their customers. It's a horrible business practice!!!! I had an excellent experience here when I stopped by last week for an early dinner with friends. The fried chicken tacos were outstanding--definitely the highlight of the meal, and I only wish I had ordered more. My wife ordered the brisket fajitas, and we also shared an order of birria tacos. While the birria was enjoyable, the fried chicken tacos were the clear favorite. The fajitas were decent but could benefit from a bit more seasoning, as they came across somewhat mild for my taste. The guacamole was excellent and highly recommended as an addition to any meal. Service was slightly slow, though still acceptable, especially considering the restaurant was already quite busy around 4 PM. Pricing falls in the moderate range--I would estimate around $50 per person. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience that I would happily recommend. read more

Well, I do like this restaurant and would actually crave the enchiladas, rice and beans, which I've ordered many times. What I've seen is the quantity of beans and rice shrink. They place the enchiladas on top of the beans and rice. When I first started ordering the enchiladas, the beans and rice covered almost the entire plate. The last two times I ordered enchiladas the beans and rice were way less. Today, I met my daughter and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend ordered the enchiladas. When they brought the plate of enchiladas he rightly said "where's the beans and rice"! There was such a small amount you could not even see them under the enchiladas. Please step up and serve what should be some of the cheapest portion of the meal that makes customers feel like we are getting what we pay for. The beans and rice should not be completely hidden under three enchiladas, they should cover the entire plate like a table for the enchiladas. My work hosted a team event near La Industria and we all came in for lunch. It's a bit further than I usually venture out, but I was happy to have work pay for my food :D La Industria has an extensive menu, and it could be hard to decide what to order. Thank goodness a few of my co-workers had been there before and made a few recommendations. I ended up ordering 3 tacos (fish, BBQ Brisket, and smoked pork belly) and a blueberry rosemary smash. All of the tacos were really good. Everything tasted freshly made, from the tortillas to the deep-fried fish. The BBQ brisket was tender and the smoked pork belly was flavorful. I also enjoyed the Blueberry Rosemary smash because it had the right balance of sweet and tangy and went well with the tacos. To finish our meal, we had a churro with chocolate sauce. It was so good, it reminded me of the churros I had in Spain. Nothing can beat the yumminess of freshly made churros with dark chocolate. I took the family there and we had about 8 people on our group and they bill was whopping $330.00 including drinks, meals, appetizers and 20% tip they automatically include on your tab. Really? They include at 20% tip. I mean the service is good but I should be the one to determine if the waitress gets 20% tip or not. I got the brisket enchiladas. They were ok. They are 3 of them and filled with only one thin slice of brisket. The black beans we're actually kind of crunchy and so was the rice like they were under cooked.
