I only waited about 5 minutes before my entire order was ready! I will definitely be coming again, the meal for $24 with a bag of chips and guac for an extra $3 is a great way to feed a group of 4-5 for cheap!

As close to a food truck as you can get --- there's room for like 6 people inside --- but the kitchen delivers. Our fajita burrito was dang big, nicely seasoned and piping hot - they make it right out on the grill in front . (Pro tip- sit inside by the window to watch the cook outside at work - very cool). Small menu, and the "fajita-style" naming is odd, as it was more like ground chicken than fajita-style pieces inside, but still very tasty -- and their condiment/salsa bar is off the hook. I still prefer the Jefe restaurant chicken, but this one is a damn tasty option, plus the place is open late most nights .

The have tables and the parking can get crowded since it is in a gas station parking lot. I am a flautas and carne asada tacos kind of person, but what makes or breaks a taco spot for me is SAUCE. Your food can be cooked well but if that habanero sauce doesn't hit, it's a no for me. The line of sauces here hit the mark for me. Both their avocado crema and habanero sauces are so good. The flautas were crispy, and the tacos are generous. And t Will be back!

This restaurant could be a case study in a book that delves into really poor business marketing…read more This restaurant has been here forever. There are quite a few Mexican themed restaurants and food trucks within a mile or two. There is a large Mexican population living here and Mexican workers are all over the place. So to stand out a business would need to really separate themselves from the herd. That is, they need to stand out in a positive way. This place is a massive fail in that regard. I happen to enjoy Mexican cuisine a lot. I always appreciate being surprised by an amazing, tasty, reasonably priced, filling Mexican restaurant. There are several nearby neighborhood Mexican places that provide that experience consistently. This is not one of them. You will find unremarkable food here. Indifferent wait stall. A boringly average menu. Smaller portions at premium prices. Nothing to see here folks. This restaurant has had coupons in the local shoppers every week for decades. So when I decided to check this place out I showed up with one of those coupons. If I recall it was a coupon that took a dollar or two off the meal price if you spent more than a certain amount and ordered a specific set of items. So at checkout time they declined to accept the coupon because I ordered a medium drink and not a large. Huh? Rare for a business to use coupons to completely alienate new customers! Do I care about the two bucks that they chiseled out of me? No I do not. Would I ever patronize a business that is this out of touch with what good customer service is? No. Never been back. Never will. What the heck, Mazatlan has an unlimited supply of new customer prospects coming by so they don't need me, right? What a shabby outfit. YMMV.

This is the second location of several that continues to grow. You can see why with the super fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, and friendly service. Love it when you dine at a new place with a foodie friend you trust who knows what to order. This is one of her parents' go to places when they drive in from Olympia, WA. *Taquitos were crispy potato filled rolls. We chose the mushroom topping which was good!!! *Tamarindo ribs- came glazed with a unique tamarind flavor and a little kick that I have not had anywhere else. *Mini Sopes- we chose 3 different proteins ( which were all good braised beef, citrus pork, and chorizo). The Fish taco which came highly recommended was my least favorite because it had too much mayo in the slaw for me. I had to scrape most of it off. Everything comes garnished with beautiful purple pickled onions that are crunchy and compliment all the dishes. Friend had the non alcoholic Mexican Lime beer and I had the Jamaica (hibiscus) aqua Fresca which had lovely hints of spice. This was certainly much better than the Mexican food I get at home! The salsa music in the background made me wanna get up and dance.

We got the beef taquitos, shrimp ceviche, and sopes. Everything was beautifully plated, but was also lacking in flavor. :( ceviche was really fresh, but a bit bland.
