It was kind of mushy honestly. But the veggies, rice, beans & salsa I had with it was bomb. I love that dark salsa and chips they have' I was craving it. Absolutely rude. he disrespected the staff (a young girl) in front of the customers even pointing his finger in the cashier girls face. If y'all want an amazing combination, get a chicken quesadilla, rice, street corn, and a root beer. I have to admit, the beans and chips are not good, but that's my only complaint. This was my first time trying Baja Fresh. My burrito was interesting. I ordered the Sea of Cortez. The fish and shrimp were great. But the mango salsa really overpowered all the flavors in the burrito. The burrito itself was a nice size, but I also found that as I reached about half way, it began to fall apart being that it was so saturated. The food is always good and consistent. I like that you can order ahead on the app if you choose or, just go right on in and place that order. Dinner at 5pm on a Wednesday. Little busy here. Burning smell isn't too appetizing, but we were hungry. We ordered a shrimp taco combo, chicken tortilla soup and some Queso and chips and drinks. 38 dollars later we got our queso and chips. Hot and tasty. Food arrives. $5.99 for a cup of soup. Always get the same all Rice with shrimp tacos , I do not like cabbage so I always say no cabbage, come with 2 tacos an bean an rice but of course loving rice I got all rice , one taco only had 2 Shrimp but the other had 8 shrimp. Had a quick stop thru the day because I had come out of my Chase Bank at the Marketplace. Initially I was going to eat in but realized I only had 12 minutes to get back to work. Although it was 2:00 pm, there was still a pretty decent afternoon crowd. I asked the super friendly girl behind the counter if I could switch to "to go" because I had to hurry and get back to work. The entire crew stepped it up double time to get my order served and helped me get out the door in time. I appreciated that very much. I ended up getting the Baja Ultimata Burrito with grilled shrimp. So fresh and delicious! Grilled veggies, fresh baja salsa, jack and cheddar cheese, baja rice, and sour cream. This was a GREAT burrito but probably more than I needed to eat in one sitting. But it was so good I devoured the whole thing!! They offer three levels of heat salsa at thier salsa bar, I tried the mild, and and both mediums, but couldn't bring myself to try the hot. All three I tried were really good!! We ordered our food from Uber and not only was it cold but had some kind a metal wire in it !!! This is so dangerous! I know small children eat chips and guac so PLEASE don't let your children eat the guac from Baja ! This could have really injured a child or anyone really. Love love love salsa bars! So this place is gold. Their food is fresh and really good. I got the BBQ Chicken Salad this time and it's now my favorite thing ok the menu. I'm counting calories and this one was 400 calories and huge! However, it came drenched in dressing. I think that totally derailed my diet. I'm not sure if the calories are counted with or without dressing. But it was too much. Next time, dressing on the side. i assumed it came that way but I was wrong. I wish they had more salad options. Like a fajita salad or something would be good. Kids meals are really big but also $6-7 which is almost as much as an adult meal. Seating is limited at lunch time. The place has about 3 booths, several regular tables, and then those that are high with bar stools, a nightmare for a short lady and a toddler!
