I am extremely pleased with my two days of dental services provided by Advanced Smiles Dentistry…read more I have paid far more for a far lower standard of dental care. After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.

After…read moredoing a ton of research and reading all of the reviews we decided to use Washington Dental Clinic. JP was the concierge that helped us through the whole process and he was great. It was a super easy walk across the border. Their taxi picked us up and dropped us off. Had a really nice coffee at a charming coffee shop next-door. All in all just a really nice day and a fabulous experience. (who says that about a day going to the dentist !?) Plus! I went in there with an $800 estimate and my partner went in there with a $3000 estimate and we were told that both of those were unnecessary so we were both able to leave with a $40 cleaning. It's not often that a dentist office is a good experience for me but this definitely was!

ZERO Responsibility for their terrible work. Father bought…read moredentures couple years ago and 16 teeth in total fell out after 4 years of use (and regluing) We decided to give a "NEW" pair a try.. they lasted 6 weeks then 2 teeth fell out. My father doesn't live near Tijuana, so he mailed them to me, we got them "fixed" and guess what.. 1st day after they were sent back, ANOTHER tooth fell out Dentist office says they don't have records to make a new pair and he must be present. Didn't give us any direction on how to fix the issue and now we're $2500 into 2 sets of teeth that keep falling apart. I have sent dozens of friends and family here over the past 8 years and now regret ever giving them business. Terrible service, terrible care and don't take responsibility for their actions. Spend the money and go elsewhere. Or just get your teeth cleaned.

The office was ultramodern and clean. Everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. It was super convenient and safe staying in the Quartz Hotel next door. It was well worth the trip! I have just a few nits that don't affect my five-star rating. 1. They could be a little more upfront about the time the procedures will take. I was told two hours on the first day and one hour on the second day. It was more like six hours on the first day, and five on the second. But I'd rather they do the job right than rush. 2. The office is a bit tight on space. It would be nice if they had more room. But rent probably doesn't come cheap in that new office building. 3. It's nice that they have TVs on the ceiling you can watch during procedures. They play house music, and the lyrics scroll on the screen. But they need to be more careful about the music choices. There was one song with lyrics about as filthy as you can imagine. I'm no prude, but I don't want to hear and see the f-word multiple times when I'm having dental work done. Despite these minor issues, I'd definitely return for more dental work when I need it.

I had a filling done here that failed within four days…read more To be clear, Barbara was excellent, she helped save my tooth and prevent a root canal. Unfortunately, the actual filling work done by the dentist was very poor. Issues I experienced: 1. The filling chipped and fell off within the first week, in three separate pieces. 2. The contact point between the repaired molar and adjacent tooth was incorrect floss passes straight through with no resistance, creating a gap that was not there before. 3. There was excess filling material left on the outside of the tooth. 4. During bite adjustment, the dentist ground down not only the filling but my actual molar and the neighboring teeth, even though the bite was still off. At this point, the tooth is worse than when I came in. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the restorative work and would not feel comfortable having this dentist perform fillings again. I hope X Dentistry reviews this case and takes appropriate action or provides additional training, as I would not want another patient to go through a similar experience.
