Tony at NoVA Landscape Construction Is at the very top of that list. Our family spent the better part of a year working with his crew to transform our yard and pool area. At the end of that time, I can still say I'm thrilled that we went with Tony and his crew for this renovation. Not only because of the outcome of our space, but because of the communication that we received consistently through our work, and with the caliber of work I saw happen in my backyard! Tony and his crew transformed our back yard pool area into a retreat. Our pool is about 40 years old. I don't believe it had ever been resurfaced. We started there with Tony and his crew and as we talked about our vision for up there our design options grew. We opted to reconfigure the entire space around the pool, and Tony Was able to take our vision and make it happen! He was receptive to all of our requests, even the ones that were a little more difficult for him to fulfill like a very specific color of a crêpe myrtle tree for the landscaping, with a can-do attitude! We now have a wood-burning fireplace, we ran a gas line to heat the pool and put in gas heaters for the pavilion area, added a fridge a grill, garbage and recycle bins , and a cooler box to easily access drinks. The space is truly an oasis for our family now. We do a lot of entertaining and everyone who has stopped by has been so impressed with the space. We are beyond thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Tony and his team for any home improvement project you are considering!

NRC was able to pick up where our previous contractor left off, seamlessly. We interviewed 7 total contractors and Nick was the only one that told us "I want to win your business and I will do what it takes to make sure we do." Roberto was onsite almost every day making sure everything was getting done properly and timely. Any time there was a change in schedule or a change in the project he communicated this to us ahead of time. My favorite part of working with NRC is their attention to detail. At each decision point, he made sure to ask us how we wanted something done before it was too late to change. They truly took our vision and made it a reality. The end result is a beautiful screened-in porch, deck, patio, and fire pit. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Tim came out to look at that and a bunch of other stuff (future work), and gave us a plan to resolve the immediate issues. On the inside, his guys came out and jackhammered along our foundation, installed a new system to collect and direct any water seeping through the wall to our existing sump pump discharge line, and laid new concrete. They even worked around a bit of a curveball without needing to deviate from the estimate. Outside, they dug a 22-ft trench and installed a french drain to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure on the basement wall, routed our HVAC condensate line into the french drain, installed 2 new window wells which allowed them to grade the yard away from the house, and installed another french drain on the far end of the garden to help mitigate the flash flooding we experience there. They finished up by laying fescue sod over the affected area, making it look nice and clean. All of the work was done in two days, with some minor cleanup work on the 3rd day after the concrete had cured in the basement. The price was good, the guys worked hard, the work was done on time, and the final product was excellent.
