Love going here when I'm craving pasta! They serve a lot of tasty food! Great customer service.

Bland bland and bland. I've seen this on the side of the street for years and always wondered. Tonight I wonder no more. I was determined that it would be what I grew up eating. that was my downfall. I forgot where I was. I think the tacos up and down the avenue set me up for failure. Maybe it was the other way around. I ordered something off the menu but given the crowd and willingness of the host it didn't seem like an issue. I wanted a mixture of alfredo, which I knew would be bland, and their marinara Incorporated. I really have no faith in South California alfredo sauce so that's why I mixed it up. I added chicken and steak. Both meats were extremely previously frozen. what I was presented with could have easily been made in my kitchen. I was not presented the opportunity of any parmesan cheese which would have spruced up the dish however shouldn't have been necessary at the price tag which was $27. The garlic bread was stale. Nothing was good

Let me put it this way, if you are on a budget and want some Italian American Cuisine, then this food truck is the place for you. For the price you pay you get a huge portion of pasta. The menu here is small but it has all the basic pasta available. The sauces are good but a little salty. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star instead of 5 is as follows: 1. The pasta sauce is a little bit on the salty side, however it tastes really good. 2. Pasta does not come with a option to add veggies of your choice rather it only comes with your choice of protein. It only has a choice to select your pasta, your sauce and your protein. 3. The garlic bread is a little bit on the greasy side. Now the good points: 1. The sauces are phenomenal. 2. The meat is cooked to the perfect temp. 3. The pasta is proper Al Dente. 4. Customer Service is very good. 5. For the price you pay the portion size is very good. If you buy a large portion you would end up feeding 2.5 people. The large does come with a side of soup and a side of garlic bread. 6. Small portion also comes with a side of garlic bread but no soup. 7. Their soup tastes good as well. They have Potatoe and Chicken Cream soup. 8. All their pastas are made to order. I would 100% recommend this place to others. However, 1 critic I have which in covid times is very important is the street the food truck is parked (which is in Jurupa Valley) I guess not a whole lot of folks believe in Covid. When I went there, people who were buying pastas and in line were not wearing any masks nor gloves. In fact there were other taco stands on the same street and I observed there are people roaming or standing in line without masks. It was like Covid heaven. The chefs and the people inside the truck, they were all wearing masks and gloves and they were practicing safe food techniques. So please be careful. I would suggest please call ahead of time and place a phone order rather then standing in line to be safe. Please support your local businesses .

So good! So cheap, fast And food! Totally recommend it! Never heard of the pasta truck, and this is the first one!

Great people made me feel like home. The pasta is amazing! Great flavor! Great service!

chipotle fettuccine with chicken & shrimp

The best pasta in town!! The chipotle fettuccine with chicken & shrimp is my favorite but all of their sauces are amazing. They are so nice, come support your local small businesses! It's a food truck & usually your food is ready in less than 5 minutes. (: The small ($6-8) comes with garlic bread & the large ($14-16) comes with garlic bread and creamy potato soup. So worth it! Check out their instagram to see all of the pastas: @bain.st.pastas If you're not sure what sauce to get, you can ask to try it & they'll give you a sample!

The food was pretty good. They did go above and beyond to add cheese to our bread however the cheese they added made it taste salty. It is definitely recommended.

It was the night of a very important Mexico vs. Ecuador World Cup Knockout Game and most of the other Sports Bars in the Plazas were full. They have awesome short sized domestic Drafts for only $3 and a phenomenal $5 Strawberry Bellini I am absolutely in love with. Marcelo's Captivating and Unique Sense of Style deeply Cultured Essence makes him the perfect Italian Stallion Runway Model for the Carinos Brand! I've always said, "increase the price if you need to, but don't mess with the portion size or quality." In my opinion, Johnny Carino's had the best lasagna of any Italian restaurant. Better than any of their competitors. The lasagna was tall, easily four layers, a nice-sized generous slice, and delicious with big chunks of ground italian sausage. It was my go-to whenever I wanted Italian. Today, I met a friend there for lunch, who had never been to Carino's and I suggested the lasagna which is what I ordered. When it arrived, it looked so sad and deflated. I was truly disappointed. It was only two layers and barely taller than the sides of the plate. And the big chunks of ground Italian sausage, gone. Service was good, no complaints, but nothing outstanding either. I truly hate shrinkflation.

My wife's spaghetti had a lot of tomato sauce, we'd order light sauce next visit, but she said the meatballs we're really good. The waitress was super accommodating and listened well- Also, Cannataro's was easy to find, and park at. Paying the bill was easy-electronic at the table. We never felt rushed or taken for granted. We did have a noisy table that was next to our booth, and apparently the one young college age kid had just discovered the F-word, and was trying it out a bit, I wear ear plugs at restaurants and I did my best to focus on my wife, but I wish he would have used a little restraint- Young men when you're in public, since we're all paying for the experience, hold off on the obscenities like you would at school or work?-just a request-thanks. (Next time maybe we'll ask for a booth away from tables/groups next time so everyone can enjoy their food their way.) Cannataro's was more personal than Olive Garden, had a great and affordable menu, and was easy to drive to. Staff was attentive and kept the carafe of water filled. Our only regret is we didn't try the creme brulee. Thanks Cannataro's, your hard-working team and varied menu made for a nice out of town Italian experience.

As a visual person, it did hamper the ambiance for me, especially since I was sitting right next to it. We were the only table that wasn't a couple, and even when it got more crowded, the noise level was pleasantly low. Our server asked us how we felt about salt, which was very much appreciated. AMARETTO SOUR: 3/5. Very sweet, and orange-forward which is a new flavor profile for this cocktail for me. BREAD & WHIPPED BUTTER: 5/5. Served warm. The bread was pillowy soft, and the butter, (which was more air than butter and therefore definitely zero calories), was delightfully salty. BRUSSELS SPROUTS: 5/5. I've been burned by so many poorly done sprouts that I don't order them anymore, but my partner wanted to try it and I'm so glad we got them. Zero bitterness, and crispier than an newly minted dollar bill. OCTOPUS: 5/5. Grilled to perfection, soft, not rubbery. The spices in the romesco sauce were aromatic and punchy. STEAK TARTARE: 4/5. Good. These crostinis were the most crostinis to have ever crostinied. The perfect vessel for the rich steak. MUSHROOM SOUP: 5/5. This is the first time I've found balance between being truffle-forward without being overbearing. Usually I'm done after about two spoonfuls, but all 3 bowls (shared between 6 of us) were cleaned. SURF & TURF: 5/5. Owen's checks internal and external temperature, which means steak is cooked true to the way it's ordered. More impressive is that they didn't overcook the lobster. A moment for the gorgeous blue plates; they are heirlooms, and only 7 of them exist in the world. CHILEAN SEA BASS: 4/5. For me, the radish did a lot of heavy lifting in balancing out the saltiness of the soy vinaigrette and richness of the fish itself. STEAK FRITES: 4/5. Again, perfectly cooked steak. I only had one fry, and I thought it was a damn good fry, but my partner did say it eventually got salty. And he loves his salt. CAMPING TRIP: 5/5. The crust on the salmon, the theatrics of the hot rock, the fresh veggies. It's a classic for a reason. MAITAKE MUSHROOM: 4/5. While it was good, I didn't find myself continuously reaching for more, as I nearly always do with mushrooms. ROBUCHON POTATOES: 5/5. AKA indulgent, buttery velvet. A labor of love well received. STRAWBERRY TART: 5/5. While the strawberries were phenomenal, the vanilla (?) custard was a little heavy for me. My mom inhaled it though. CRÈME BRÛLÉE: 5/5. So good. I don't know when it became normalized to serve crème with an Ozempic-thin layer of brûlée, but thank you Owen's for not doing that.

I was really looking forward to the spumoni. They started off saying that some of their desserts they didn't have. But I said I'm really interested in this harmony and when I had it last time, it was so good and I believe it was in a slab but now it's formed into like an egg shaped almost and dipped in chocolate and I really did not enjoy it. The pizza was fine. It was very crispy on the bottom. I don't remember being as crispy before with a slight rosemary presence and I just remember the Escondido location being so much better than this one, it's good, it's really good, The pizza was perfectly fine. We all liked it and enjoyed it. But the real star of the night was the garlic knots we all really liked those and we had a side of Alfredo with them. They were so good. The Caesar salad was also raved about. Also, the inside of this one seems to have seen better days. We were sat at a table, with 6 chairs..5 of which we trusted to sit on. One of our chairs was literally falling apart at the table. It's got maybe 2 or 3 more sits before someone finds themselves on the floor. We had a stack of plates and two of them had really bad chips in them. One of them had a crack pretty much all the way across and if somebody grabs a plate they could really hurt themselves on that just invest in some new plates. The decor is so dated, even if it's not dusty, it looks it. The table clothes have seen better days. And they are cheap so why can't they replace them?? They look like if you got a good whiff of them, you'd definitely gag. This location could use a refresher. ASAP. Our server was friendly with a little bit of funny sarcastic humor which we all appreciated.
