I was a bit skeptical about tasting Italian food from a food truck for the first time but I'm glad I tried it. I had the large fettuccine creamy pesto pasta with beef and mushrooms, and the service was good. For the large portions they provide, the price was excellent. It was served with bread and soup on the side. The bread tasted great dipped in the pasta sauce and soup. The raspberry lemonade tasted delicious and was quite refreshing. The pasta was excellent, and I like that they offered me a large portion of steak because most restaurants tend to be frugal with it. All in all, it was excellent, and I will most certainly return to try something different. read more

This was the best Italian restaurant we've been to in a long time, and we travel all over California. There has been nothing in comparison. I would say that their sauces are all lacking a little bit of salt. If I were to say the best sauce we had was the tomato creamy sauce we tried the chipotle sauce, and the pesto sauce, the pesto sauce was the best I've ever had in my life. In my opinion it was still lacking in salt, but generally the best pest sauce I've ever had this deserves to be a restaurant not a food truck. I wish them good luck. read more

Bland bland and bland. I've seen this on the side of the street for years and always wondered. Tonight I wonder no more. I was determined that it would be what I grew up eating. that was my downfall. I forgot where I was. I think the tacos up and down the avenue set me up for failure. Maybe it was the other way around. I ordered something off the menu but given the crowd and willingness of the host it didn't seem like an issue. I wanted a mixture of alfredo, which I knew would be bland, and their marinara Incorporated. I really have no faith in South California alfredo sauce so that's why I mixed it up. I added chicken and steak. Both meats were extremely previously frozen. what I was presented with could have easily been made in my kitchen. I was not presented the opportunity of any parmesan cheese which would have spruced up the dish however shouldn't have been necessary at the price tag which was $27. The garlic bread was stale. Let me put it this way, if you are on a budget and want some Italian American Cuisine, then this food truck is the place for you. For the price you pay you get a huge portion of pasta. The menu here is small but it has all the basic pasta available. The sauces are good but a little salty. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star instead of 5 is as follows: 1. The pasta sauce is a little bit on the salty side, however it tastes really good. 2. Pasta does not come with a option to add veggies of your choice rather it only comes with your choice of protein. It only has a choice to select your pasta, your sauce and your protein. 3. The garlic bread is a little bit on the greasy side. Now the good points: 1. The sauces are phenomenal. 2. The meat is cooked to the perfect temp. 3. The pasta is proper Al Dente. 4. Customer Service is very good. 5. For the price you pay the portion size is very good. If you buy a large portion you would end up feeding 2.5 people. The large does come with a side of soup and a side of garlic bread. 6. Small portion also comes with a side of garlic bread but no soup. 7. Their soup tastes good as well. They have Potatoe and Chicken Cream soup. 8. All their pastas are made to order. I would 100% recommend this place to others. However, 1 critic I have which in covid times is very important is the street the food truck is parked (which is in Jurupa Valley) I guess not a whole lot of folks believe in Covid. When I went there, people who were buying pastas and in line were not wearing any masks nor gloves. In fact there were other taco stands on the same street and I observed there are people roaming or standing in line without masks. It was like Covid heaven. The chefs and the people inside the truck, they were all wearing masks and gloves and they were practicing safe food techniques. So please be careful. I've been coming here for about a year and have visited at least a handful of times. I always order the fettuccine creamy pesto with chicken or shrimp (sometimes both!) Get the large it comes with 3 pieces of garlic bread & a small creamy chicken potato soup. In my opinion, the small isn't worth it for the price point. This small but mighty food truck is always consistent with their food taste & quality. I can't say the same for their customer service as they changed the staff who take orders. However I reached out via Instagram to share my negative experience and they seem to have taken my feedback because the last time I went it was the same person taking orders but the service was much better. They are open everyday from 4pm-10pm except on Tuesdays. I highly recommend stopping by! You won't regret it. read more

The prices are pretty good. You get a huge amount of pasta when you order the large, along with bread and soup. However, the flavors and spices are lacking. The alfredo sauce tasted like it came out of the can and was bland as could be and super watery. The "garlic bread" had no garlic and was only slightly toasted. I've been here a handful of times in the past 8 months and the quality has gone down. Their prices are bit high for their quality and amount served. $20 for spaghetti with 5 small meatballs. The pasta is never drained well so everything is watery, the bread is like dry cardboard and only smells like garlic, all of the sauces are very bland. I've tried them all. I'm very disappointed for spending almost $40 on one full pasta and one half sized pasta to have it taste like water. I added a ton of my own Parmesan cheese and some salt to make it edible. The one redeeming quality is their steak and mushrooms are tasty. Unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

The best pasta in town!! The chipotle fettuccine with chicken & shrimp is my favorite but all of their sauces are amazing. They are so nice, come support your local small businesses! It was good but the pasta was kinda dry wish it had more sauce, the sauce itself was good kinda but good the chicken was really good cooked perfect but kinda salty. Compared to the other pictures I've been from there Instagram my past is definitely dry The bread was not good simple bread no garlic or butter added it's not toasted either it's just warm. I love Bain St. pastas. This is a food truck that I'm visiting at least once every two weeks it seems like. The portions are great and the staff is always accommodating to any special orders I have. They changed locations recently but it's still worth going there for dinner. Definitely a food truck worth your business. The soup is a creamy chicken potato soup.. dunk your bread in it. You know when you have Italian you expect the usual suspects like fettuccine Alfredo or spaghetti so you got to get the pesto or the chipotle even though the alfredo is delicious! It's alright to be honest nothing special it's just pasta. I personally think the Alfredo can use a little more flavor it be on some Prego level sauce, and the bread should actually be toasted it's pretty weak for what you are paying. This pasta is so delicious and its definitely different seeing a pasta truck but it's seriously so good. The creamy pesto is my favorite as well as the Alfredo. I've only ever tried chicken but im guessing the shrimp would also be good. The bread is a miss i feel like they could do better. I just want to start off by saying that there prices are super cheap for what you get. I ordered a large steak alfredo with mushrooms and I also received a side soup and garlic bread. The sauce alone is so good. They have good customer service. The shorter girl that works on the weekends is always super nice and willing to go above and beyond. All the employees are super nice, but the shorter girl is the nicest. When I order in person they give me an estimated wait time and it's normally less then 10 minutes, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE BUSY.
