    Machete de chicharrón prensado

El Panzón Chilango Hidden gem that actually lives up to the TikTok hype Found this spot on TikTok and wow total hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, the family-owned warmth was obvious. Friendly hellos, quick seating. The food? Delicious and deeply flavorful. Fresh, well-seasoned, warm tortillas, and bright, balanced salsas that don't just bring heat they bring flavor. Portions are generous, and everything came out hot and fast. I also loved the aguas frescas refreshing without being overly sweet. Service deserves its own shout-out: attentive, kind, and on top of it without hovering. You can feel the pride in what they serve. Bottom line: If you're craving authentic flavor, generous portions, and true hospitality, El Panzón Chilango is the move. I'll be back and bringing friends.

I found this place on TikTok so I decided to try .. let me tell you .. I don't regret it !! Food is delicious I tried tacos dorados , tacos de cochinita pibil and the huge martillo I think it's called lol anyway ..everything seems delicious place is small but good customer service and have tables outside if you decide to eat outside . The place is run by 4 women .. I guess that reason why the food tastes just like home . Sad thing only opens 4 days but if you are in the area definitely stop by ..

This is half of my Chicharon prensado machete!! This is so delicious!!!!

This place has amazing vibes! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by some of the friendliest people, and the music adds to the great atmosphere. My girlfriend and I both ordered a Machete--she got the chicken with everything, and I went for the Chicharrón prensado. Let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, and the homemade tortillas made all the difference. The salsas were the perfect complement, adding just the right kick. We'll definitely be coming back for more--highly recommend!

Pambaso was delicious. The machete was okay I was expecting the chicharron prensado to be more on the crispy side.

Incredible home style food . Everything is Prepared fresh to order. All Guisados are very rich in flavor and delicious. Service was very attentive and helpful since it was our first time. I will definitely be going back. Plenty of parking but definitely go early place is very popular (as it should be) or be prepared to wait. Ambience was very homey I really liked my experience overall.

DELICIOUS!!! Super authentic, options you can't find at your average Mexican restaurant! Cooked to perfection! FEMALE ran & operated! The ladies know what they are doing & they do it well!!! We will be back!

All I can say ....soooo delicious!!!!!

Seen this hidden gem on tik tok and wanted to check it out. The moment you walk in there are the most friendliest people. Great customer service and amazing delicious food. Highly recommend. Definitely going back soon.

The service is fine, it's just that my torta is mediocre, there is so much onion! Like to an excessive amount, and the girl serving my table didn't seem like she to much experience. There was this other girl just starring me down while I was eating inside. Overall it wasn't a good experience, would I come back probably not but do I think it can improve for sure. I think I just got an unlucky experience.

    Pambazo

Uh-mazing! Delicious! Huge! First time here, not disappointed. I had the Torta Chilanga my wife had the Pambazo and both were awesome. Authentic and packed with flavor. The milanesa was very good and WOW they weren't kidding the tortas are huge. Will definitely be back.

the chilaquiles plate with whatever leftovers they had in the back bc they "ran out of food" ?? how unprofessional..

*DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE* this place is known to delete reviews on purpose so ik mine may be deleted as well..so for those who can see, do not waste your time here!! my family and I (7+ people btw) came here for dinner for my gma's birthday, and we're disappointed with the incredibly SLOW service and bland food. It took us 45+ minutes to be seated and the food was bland in flavor, not worth the wait at all! Spend your money elsewhere this place is as average as it gets.. and thats being nice Maybe if the food was top notch it would be worth it, but nahh.. go anywhere up the street!

The food is amazing and the restaurant feels homey! The service was quick and food came out so fast. It is very authentic and the pambazo was delicious! Highly recommend!!

When we arrived, there was live music playing, the restaurant was packed with customers, and the atmosphere felt lively and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering how busy they were. To start, we ordered drinks. Since a few of us planned on having beers, we asked our waitress if ordering a bucket of beer would be cheaper than ordering them individually, and she said yes. However, after doing the math later, we realized it actually came out to the same price as ordering single beers. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting. My wife ordered a piña colada, which was absolutely delicious and definitely had a nice kick to it. I also tried the mango margarita, which was refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather. For my meal, I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito Mojado, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The flavors were spot on, and it's definitely something I would order again on a future visit. My wife ordered the Tacos Gobernador, which were both tasty and filling. I also got to try some of the ceviche that my family members ordered, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious as well. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back whenever we're in the area. The live mariachi music made the experience even more enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Our bartender was very nice and made an excellent Paloma. Never once did my wife and I feel like we weren't being taken care of. Very attentive staff. It is a bit pricey though, two drinks and two shots was $80 so an average of $20 a drink, it doesn't make it my first choice to have a drink.

This is one of those places that really needs your Yelp help. It is located in an eclectic…read moreneighborhood, a very rural area called Mira Loma, but on a well-known, main thoroughfare. Google Maps turns you into a dusty asphalt driveway where, in the front is one stucco building that might have been someone's house at one time, and in the back is one very worn, almost sleazy, one-story building where three tiny Mom & Pop businesses compete for space. There is nothing fancy to see here, with the exception of the tiny, covered patio at the entry and a claustrophobic ordering counter on the other side of a sliding glass door. The patio walls are lined with bamboo, a couple taxidermied blue marlin, and some seaside-themed, tropical decor. There are maybe 4 tables and a cluster of chairs. I imagine, in the heat of the summer, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable in here. And yet, reading the food reviews will make your heart go pitter-patter. Their specialty is mariscos with a Baja spin. Ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish soup, fish tacos and burritos, to name a few. They also have swordfish and salmon on their menu. We came for the fish tacos and were we in store for a surprise! The chunk of fried fish in each taco was as big as a huge chicken tender. Our tacos were filled with moist, great tasting white fish (not tilapia)! The tortillas, hence, had to be the larger size, not street taco sized. The batter was crispy and exceptional, with a light, herbal flavor. The finishing touch was a pile of toppings, including shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, finely chopped cucumber, and an insanely delicious white crema-mayo sauce. I think the unexpected cucumber added a unique, refreshing element to an already excellent taco. The only downfall was that the corn tortilla fell apart before I could get it into my mouth. Heh, I can live with that...just give me a fork. If you thought the price of 1 taco ($4.50) was too expensive, you are wrong. One taco here is the equivalent of two tacos elsewhere. That's a great deal! This is not fast food. The fish is cooked to order. Plan on a wait. Although this is essentially a covered, outdoor dining enclosure with a dutch door style gate, please note. Pets are not allowed. There is no pet-friendly section, nor shady areas to park in their bleak parking lot. The irony of this was the number of off-leash dogs we saw wandering around the parking lot. We saw three small to medium sized dogs, and no owner. We ended up bringing our food and personna-non-grata pup home. They did a nice job with the fish tacos, and one of their customers assured me the fried and/or grilled shrimp tacos and mojo de ajo shrimp were excellent. This means only one thing...we shall return, but without the chihuahua fur baby.
