El Panzón Chilango Hidden gem that actually lives up to the TikTok hype Found this spot on TikTok and wow total hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, the family-owned warmth was obvious. Friendly hellos, quick seating. The food? Delicious and deeply flavorful. Fresh, well-seasoned, warm tortillas, and bright, balanced salsas that don't just bring heat they bring flavor. Portions are generous, and everything came out hot and fast. I also loved the aguas frescas refreshing without being overly sweet. Service deserves its own shout-out: attentive, kind, and on top of it without hovering. You can feel the pride in what they serve. Bottom line: If you're craving authentic flavor, generous portions, and true hospitality, El Panzón Chilango is the move. I'll be back and bringing friends.

The place is run by 4 women .. I guess that reason why the food tastes just like home . Sad thing only opens 4 days but if you are in the area definitely stop by ..

My girlfriend and I both ordered a Machete--she got the chicken with everything, and I went for the Chicharrón prensado. Let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, and the homemade tortillas made all the difference. The salsas were the perfect complement, adding just the right kick. We'll definitely be coming back for more--highly recommend!

There was this other girl just starring me down while I was eating inside. Overall it wasn't a good experience, would I come back probably not but do I think it can improve for sure. I think I just got an unlucky experience.

Uh-mazing! Delicious! Huge! First time here, not disappointed. I had the Torta Chilanga my wife had the Pambazo and both were awesome. Authentic and packed with flavor. The milanesa was very good and WOW they weren't kidding the tortas are huge. Will definitely be back.

Came for a meal, left emotionally attached. I ordered a machete thinking "haha fun name"... turns out it slays. Perfectly seasoned, huge, and dangerous in the best way. The salsas? --the kind where you say "just a little" and then suddenly your forehead is sweating and you're very happy about it. The people here are so friendly I accidentally became a regular. So it's a little hole in the wall place is family owned and operated everyone was nice I told them it was my first time and they let me try a few of there most selling meats. We happened to walk by here to get coffee next door, and saw there were so many people and the food smelled so good. We went in and ordered some tacos (not sure if that's what they're known for) but the food came out quickly and was super good. The people were so nice and accommodating. Cuando recién abrieron fueron mis papás y quedaron muy impresionados tal vez porque el dueño y su esposa siempre estaban allí. Hoy que fuimos fue una gran decepción, no sacaron toda la comida nos faltó un medio machete y después de decirles aún no lo prepararon y terminamos cancelando la orden. It was served with bread and soup on the side. The bread tasted great dipped in the pasta sauce and soup. The raspberry lemonade tasted delicious and was quite refreshing. The pasta was excellent, and I like that they offered me a large portion of steak because most restaurants tend to be frugal with it. All in all, it was excellent, and I will most certainly return to try something different.

I pulled up early in the morning before work to grab a box for my coworkers and ended up grabbing some spicy pork tamales too... chef's kiss. You can't beat a family-run business where the Mom is the cook. You can't. In fact, set aside the idea that this is a restaurant. Rather, you're walking into your Chilango friend's mom's house and you know she's got that sazon from all the stains on the mandil. Since my first visit, I've tried a couple of items, and they've all hit the spot fresh and reheated. Reheated? you ask. Yep. The portions on the items I've ordered have created a "pa'l rato" situation. MACHETE A must try - fresh. The crusty tortilla is awesome and soaks up the sauce for whatever meat you choose - and you can choose two meats!! I always choose the chicharron prensado which my wife agree is delicious and just the right amount of spice. CHILAQUILES So good. The sauce is limoney and tangy. The chips are crunchy and home made. TORTA - PANZABANA The milanesa is perfectly seasoned and just the right bit of crunchy. Order the huevos sunny side up and watch that ooey-gooey yolk run off the sides for the dirtiest eating experience you've ever had. OH, and the best part of this experience, the staff... no the family that runs the place are AWESOME. So nice and accommodating. They aren't serving a client. They are welcoming a long-lost family member home. To date, I've never had a long wait - mostly because my wife and I will spend a long time talking to one of the daughters about how good the food is. read more
