Kristie helped us get this under control, so we can now have an enjoyable walking experience with our dog. While we were working on this, Kristie also helped us with some basic command refinements with all 3 of our dogs. One of our dogs needed a little confidence boost, and she taught us how to work with him to strengthen this. Kristie is clear in her instructions to the humans and is patient with answering questions and modeling how to give commands and corrections. She built a positive relationship with our dogs and with us. We have enjoyed the experience and appreciate the changes in our dogs' behavior.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!

Every Doggie Has Its Daycare

I did a search online looking for a local dog daycare for my mom's German Shepherd. This was the…read moreclosest one I could find to her. It's located in Peoria, AZ which is northwest of Phoenix. It is near Bell Road and the 101 making it accessible for people like me traveling from nearby cities. The facility is in an industrial type zone. The building is sort of a large warehouse that is shared by several businesses. The backside has large garage type doors. I only know this because Google Maps led me to the back (south side) of the building initially. The map has been updated to hopefully prevent others from getting lost looking for the entrance which is on the northeast corner of the building. Every Doggie Has Its Daycare has applications online that you can download, print, and complete. The information provided online makes it easy for you to prepare for your first appointment. You'll need the latest copy of your dog's vaccination records including Bordetella. Plus, you will need the paperwork showing that your pet was spayed or neutered. Even though my dog has a tattoo indicating that she was spayed, the paperwork was required. I appreciate that the business has high standards and requests these records. It lets me know that patrons of the business care for their dogs and that my dog will be in a healthy and safe environment. Before allowing your dog to use their services, you will need to schedule a free, 3-hour temperament test. This allows the staff to assess your dog's energy level and comparability with other dogs. Based on this, your dog will be paired accordingly for future play groups. Please note, some dog breeds are not allowed due to insurance policies of the business. While the facility does not offer a webcam remotely or on site, the staff do actively take and post photos of the dogs on the business Instagram and Facebook pages. They post pictures pretty much every hour and try to capture every new dog entering the facility during that hour. Once your paperwork is in order, the temperament test has been completed, and your dog has been approved for services, you can start bringing them to daycare or make appointments for boarding services. Daycare doesn't require advanced bookings. I love that you can bring your dogs in and drop them off at the spur of the moment for a half or full day of play. This is so convenient for those days when you have extra work or maybe aren't feeling well enough to give your dog the exercise and attention he or she needs. My dog needs socialization on a weekly basis. She hangs out with humans daily all day, but benefits from the play and mental stimulation she gets from daycare. She always comes home relaxed and tired from her time at the facility. The facility is temperature controlled so your dog can safely enjoy play during the hot summer and cooler winter days. They do have access to an outdoor area too. It has high walls, so there is no chance of escape. You can pre-purchase packages of half day or full day passes to daycare. So far, I have just been paying as I go which is also acceptable. It's about a $40 saving if you buy the package, but you have to use it within 90 days. They take all credit cards. It's important to note that late pickups will be charged $1 per minute! That's a good incentive to make sure you arrive before they close at 7pm during the weekdays to collect your dog from daycare. I've booked a boarding reservation during the holidays. There is a deposit required during this time period because of the increased demand for services. They ask that you bring your dog's food measured out for each meal in ziplock bags. They provide everything else your dog needs for the overnight stay, but you are welcome to bring your dog's bed or blanket that provides familiar smells and will help your dog adjust easier. Also included in boarding is daycare. There is no extra charge for this ensuring your dog gets lots of exercise during the day so she can get a good night of sleep too. I'm delighted that I found this business. The staff have been super friendly in-person and on the phone. Their website has detailed information so you can get your questions answered, but call or stop by if you need additional information. I'm certain you will get the details you need and feel assured in your decision to leave your furry family member in their care.

I am a black 22 year old woman and they were completely prejudice against me. Our current team lead is a white 20 year old woman. Spraying the park is a two times daily procedure. I would spray the park (exactly how the team lead would do it) and somehow it was always wrong. They fired me because I informed them I had another job and was flustered by all the training I had to do. They did not let me put in my two weeks, but let the other two white women put theirs in. I told Audrey that I still need the job. She showed no empathy when I told her I needed the job for my bills, while I got my other job and training dates in order. Instead she hired new people and fired me on my day off. She is a micromanager, egotistical bitch. I would not bring your animal to this facility, due to the incompetence of the owners. I liked working there for the time being, but to be fired on my day off is absolutely insane. By the way their turn over rate is insane. The 3 weeks I worked there, I saw 2 people get fired and like 3 quit. Don't even get me started on the customers. People would bring their dogs to daycare and by the time they picked them up, their dog would be soaked with piss. John and Audrey said they would not put any money into repairing the facility. I got scratched by a dog and she left a huge scratch on my arm. Audrey insisted that it was my fault and that I didn't have the dog under control. Fuck both of them. They don't care about you or your dogs, only your $25.65.

This review is from my mom:…read more On June 24, 2021, I tripped over an empty paint bucket coming into a dark house from the garage which was also dark. This situation caused me to fall on my right hip breaking the very top of my hip. Surgery for a new hip replacement was necessary. I was kept in the hospital after surgery overnight. The next day I was transported to a recovery center for care and therapy. I had no idea how long I would be there. I was dischaged on September 19th. I was in a panic, "who will take care of my babies?" It happens that I have a contact that works at PET PARADISE located at 1675 W Happy Valley in Phoenix, AZ. She suggested they could board there, and would have the best care ever. I was reluctant because I was not sure how they would react around other dogs because they had very little contact with others. Besides, I thought they would be so sad missing me as I missed them. Well, that was not the case. I could sign in on my cell phone and watch them in certain areas. I could not believe how they interacted with the other dogs. They were playing and wrestling with the others. It was necessary for them to stay there from June 24 to Sept 19 when I was discharged from the care center. Because I could not visit them, I was totally amazed at the great care and attention from employees that cared for my babies. I do not know names of employees because I never had the opportunity to meet them, but I can say they are all GREAT CARING EMPLOYEES THAT LOVE THEIR JOB AND THE ANIMALS LEFT IN THEIR CARE FOR WHATEVER REASON. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PET PARADISE LOCATION TO ANYONE IN NEED OF CARE FOR YOUR DOG!!! They are also available for other pets. BIRD (my nickname)

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pet Paradise. I dropped my dog, Samson,…read moreoff on Wednesday, February 25th, for a stay until Sunday, March 1st. After arriving at our destination, we received a missed call. When my husband called back, he was told that Samson had attacked another dog completely unprovoked, would no longer be allowed in group play, and would require one-on-one sessions at an additional $20 per day. When I called to get clarification, I spoke with Savannah Solomon, the regional manager, and her behavior was completely unacceptable. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and lacked any empathy whatsoever. Her tone made it feel as though my concerns about my dog's well-being were an inconvenience. As someone who works in customer service, I understand how to handle difficult conversations and this was handled terribly. What concerned me most was knowing that someone who spoke to me with such coldness and hostility was involved in overseeing my dog's care while I was out of state. It made me genuinely anxious about leaving Samson there. Instead of reassuring me, she made the situation worse. I spent the first half of my vacation extremely worried that my dog would be judged, neglected, or treated differently because of how she characterized him. Savannah claimed Samson was "nippy" and stated he would never be allowed back into group play with no discussion of reevaluation, training options, or probationary return. However, when my husband reviewed the footage with another representative, it showed the other dog was nipping and harassing multiple dogs in camp. Samson appeared to have had enough and jumped toward the dog, but he did not pin the dog down as we were initially told, and he showed no aggression toward staff when separated. He was not acting aggressively. I understand that dogs will be dogs, and normal play can escalate. If Samson had been placed in a temporary timeout, that would have been reasonable. But a permanent ban from camp play along with additional daily fees felt excessive and unfair. Thankfully, when I called back the following day, Olivia was kind, professional, and reassuring. She made me feel much more comfortable about Samson's care. Unfortunately, the way Savannah handled the situation left a lasting negative impression. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

We didn't make it out of the parking lot before all 3 dogs were peeing and pooping in their parking lot as they had not been let out to go to the bathroom yet that morning!! I do not feel they let them out to go to the bathroom much at all as we had issues with them peeing and pooping in the house for a couple days after we had them home. We have a doggy door and have always had one. This was unusual behavior for our dogs for sure. We have never had an issue like this when we have picked dogs up from boarding at other boarding facilities. They also said we could not have their dog beds back as they were all soiled and they had to wash them. The only way this happens is if they were not let out to go to the bathroom. They had to sleep in their own waste! When we were picking up our dogs, a couple was dropping off their cat. They put it in the carrier on the floor in the lobby in front of one of the registers. This was at 7:30am or so. I had accidentally left our dogs bucket of food in the lobby as I was too distracted with the poop/pee extravaganza going on in the parking lot. I returned at 9:30 to pick up the food container and the cat was still in the carrier, in the lobby, in the exact same spot it had been in a couple hours earlier. The guy working the front counter was in the back talking to the groomer. Nobody else was in there. I asked him to speak to a manager and to my surprise, he said he was the manager! I gave him a piece of my mind and let him know our dogs will never return and also told him that the cat had been sitting there for two hours in the lobby and he just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. The business was recently sold by the original owner to a corporate entity that owns multiple daycare facilities. As you can tell by the reviews in the past year, the quality of service has severely diminished. Don't let these people take care of your pets. You would be better off just locking them in your house and hoping for the best when you returned home. It would be the same level of care they would receive at Carefree Pet Resort, I can assure you of that!!! I have been boarding dogs for 20+ years and have NEVER had an experience like this. These people should be ashamed of themselves. HORRIFIC!!!
