Thai Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail

I wish I had taken a photo, but alas, I didn't. But I am telling you that you must go to Bailey's this summer for the shrimp roll. It is dangerously delicious and outranks every lobster roll in town. The truffle burger also ranks in my top three burgers in town. You must!

Great service and farm to table menu. Our entrees were delicious - each ingredient thought out, intentional and cooked well. Kid friendly as well! They do have a kids menu.

Bailey's remains a stellar dining experience in Ridgefield, especially in the summer with the additional outdoor seating: Incredible service, an eclectic menu, execution to perfection, and an intimate atmosphere.

What a gem! This place was absolutely great. The restaurant is very cozy, really good vibes from the minute you get in. They started us off with some warm cornbread, it was nice and warm and tasted so good! For our appetizer we had the burrata which was absolutely delicious. I had for my lunch the Philly Cheesesteak which must have been the best cheesesteak I have eaten outside of Philadelphia. The steak was so tasty and flavorful and plentiful. It was served with peppers and onions with a little jalapeño kick. I truly enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the apple/Brie panini and she absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back to try other items on their menu. The servers were excellent. They were quick and attentive, offering great suggestions.

Huevos Rancheros with over medium eggs

I thought the Rancheros was 4/5 but my wife said the chicken sandwich was excellent. The service was excellent and I really enjoyed the music playlist.

Excellent little spot in Ridgefield! Friendly and casual atmosphere with an exceptional selection of tasty dishes and wine! Knowledgeable and respectful staff. I have been looking for fried oysters in our area a while now and I was not disappointed with the oysters that Bailey's had to offer! Crispy and full flavor that was worth every bite! Sea-bass was seasoned and cooked to perfection, crispy skin and soft that melts in your mouth bass meat! Amazingly Cooked lamb with just the right amount of seasoning! Remember always ask for medium! The drizzle reduction was just the perfect touch! Highly Recommend! One of the best farm to table restaurants that I've tried with reasonable prices!

I came to Bailey's for Ridgefield's 2024 Restaurant Week, and frankly it was a brilliant decision. Bailey's is next to the entrance of the public parking lot, and does have outdoor seating in the sidewalk with fire towers (at least they were there in February). The interior is deceptively big - there are two rooms with tables. The food was amazing - the brussel sprouts tostada I still think about, the sprouts were cooked so well and seasoning done perfectly. The complimentary cornbread only made me sad because I had to share. A little crumbly, but homey and welcoming! The waiter was very friendly, but couldn't really explain the surprise "kitchen fee" that came on the bill that apparently is not part of the tip. In most situations I would have lowered my score of the restaurant, but I enjoyed the meal that much. If it was on the menu, I missed it and that information should be mentioned at the beginning of the meal.

Food is fine. Too heavy and always a bit greasy / over-sauced. Have been four or five times and always leave with a ''meh".

There is a small little bar right at the entrance and as you go last it is where you can order food and drinks. Presentation was cute and the sandwich was delicious., just the right textureseating is limited on the top floor butvtheyvdo have additional seatings downstairs and a few tables outside. My early visits were bad enough that I left a review, later took it down to give them a chance, then reposted when things didn't improve. This time, one of the owners spotted me right away and, with a sarcastic jab, asked if I was "going to put up another review." Moments later, I watched their machine fail to build pressure - espresso poured instantly as thin, bitter liquid with an off smell. It wasn't just watery; it was undrinkable. When I pointed it out, she admitted it was "being serviced next week." As she walked to the register to refund my money, I overheard her tell her co-owner that I should never come in again. They did give me my money back, but only after knowingly serving something that shouldn't have left the bar. I don't expect world-class coffee - just honesty and competence. If the machine is broken, tell customers. Instead, Queen B chose to serve bad coffee with attitude.

The article references the Savoy Hotel, Danny Meyer's hospitality group, "the pursuit of excellence," and repeated commitments to quality and consistency. So I thought perhaps, at long last, the espresso situation had been resolved. Reader, it had not. I ordered a Cortado to stay. "Would you like that in a mug for here or a paper cup?" An encouraging start. I then positioned myself beside the espresso machine like a wildlife documentarian returning to observe a rare but persistent behavioral phenomenon. The barista dosed the portafilter, then tamped the coffee while holding the portafilter in midair, applying what appeared to be approximately the amount of pressure required to test whether an avocado is ripe. He locked it into the machine and pressed start. Brown liquid immediately exploded from the spouts with absolutely no delay whatsoever. The shot was over in roughly four seconds. For those unfamiliar with espresso, this is generally considered suboptimal. The resulting Cortado tasted primarily of hot milk and faintly burnt coffee sadness. After two and a half confirmation sips, I quietly left the remainder on the counter and departed. At this point I no longer review Ross's espresso. I monitor it.
