A great spot for some beers, delicious food, and excellent service. There is a big variety of beers for all tastes. Cocktails also looked good, but haven't tried. We LOVED the pizza, well balanced with the honey on top. Our bartender was so kind and really made our visit wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is clean, warm, and well decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating in the summer looks really nice too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And it's dog friendly outside, which is always a plus[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I stopped in here with my friend for a nightcap last month and do they know how to make a delish drink! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute bar, and I'd definitely come back again to try more of their drinks and the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our bartender was super nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the vibe here a lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Happy hour: Pulled pork slider (not pork "bun"), buffalo chicken meatballs, and pullled chicken taco

I wanted to check out The Lantern, and I am glad that I came by during happy hour to try a few items as appetizers cheaper than their regular dinner hour prices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I enjoyed sitting at the nice bar with the super friendly bartender, but my food wasn't amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I saw they had a "Pork Bun", which I thought may have been a pork bao bun, but it was really just a BBQ Pulled pork slider. I also had the buffalo chicken meatballs, which were okay, but they could have used some ranch, and also the pullled chicken taco, which again was just okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't think I'd come back for the food, but they did have a few nice beers on tap I'd like to try, and their outdoor sidewalk seating is in a really great spot on Main Street when the weather is favorable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A very nice outdoor seating area. Our lunch was very good and service was excellent. But a $2 charge for my choice of salad or fries got under my skin. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and on the menu was given a choice of fries or house salad. I chose salad. When the bill arrived my father noticed a $2 charge for the salad. We asked the waiter why there was a $2 charge and he said the computer system automatically added the fee and it was an issue they were aware of. He offered to remove it. We asked why he hadn't removed it before as it's really an overcharge and he said he had mentioned the issue to management but not gotten it fixed. In short this business is knowingly adding a fake charge to the bill. Most people probably miss it. And the excuse that the computer does it automatically is absurd, it's programmed by the owner. Great food horrible management.

Went here for happy hour before dinner elsewhere and a show at Ridgefield theatre. $2 bar bites and crazy prices for drinks! Amazing. Got the short rib bun and was just wanting something quick and easy. Had to order another as it was really good. Reason for the four star is we had two bartenders. Our first bartender was Filipe who was absolutely skilled. Our first drinks were excellent. He had stepped away and another guy replaced him. Didn't get his name but he was really nice. We discussed the incredible bourbon selection. However; he couldn't make a drink. He made our round 2 and we actually needed to return the drink and wait for Filipe to come back! Gorgeous interior nice sized bar and outdoor seating. Super cute place. Will come back and try more food when in town!

Really nice warm ambiance here at the top of Main Street in Ridgefield. Beautiful copper topped bar (see photos) welcomes happy hour patrons and dinner-at-the-bar couples. There's an eclectic menu of fun food. Appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, etc. there are a variety of seating options: bar, tables, high tops and "the mezzanine". Lantern is the sibling of Gallo Ristorante, on the other side of downtown.

We were a trio here for brunch on a Saturday. The staff is very nice and attentive. The drinks were very good and the food was good. I did however take points off for the cook over cooking my ribeye to well when asked for medium rare which they quickly gave me a new steak, yet for some reason they cut both ribeyes in thick strips. I'd really prefer to let my steak rest and cut it myself please! Our appetizers were good. There's not spectacular stand out here. With being so far from home I'm sure we would opt to try other places before going back. Buffalo chicken meatballs were a bit chewy and tough. Smoked duck wings -best thing other than my side salad Crab cakes - I did not partake but the sizing seemed a bit under performing Crispy duck buns - no crispy what do ever and were a bit oily

Came here on the recommendation of friends. We were offered to sit wherever we wanted. We opted towards the back away from the doors. Everyone that was working there was friendly and attentive. We started with drinks, calamari app and my husband had the potato chicken soup special. Both were really good. For dinner I had the brisket Gruyère grilled cheese with fries. Both were very good, My husband had the fish taco special and he loved it. We would go back for sure

Nice warm looking place. Staff is Italian and very friendly. We had the beet salad which was very good. Dressing wasn't too strong and the salmon that we added was flavorful and cooked well. Ordered the sourdough deep dish sausage pizza to go, which was also very good. The crust is soft and doughy. Pizza tastes fresh, not greasy. It is warm and cozy here. Would definitely come back.

The bartender was so rude, I had a sip of my water and left. I've never felt more unwelcomed in my life, honestly.

Ok well let us know BEFORE you hand us the beer and wine menu. UGH For Tapas YES Fried Calamari was absolutely amazing Fresh, not dry at all with a large bowl and 2 delicious dipping sauces. BUT For Paella Classic for 2 Never again. It was a huge disappointment after our tapas as a warm up. It was served in an iron skillet, nice presentation but much smaller than we thought it should be for 2. It had no moisture at all, the rice and chorizo sausage with chicken bits and shrimp. The shrimp was very disappointing just rubbery and dry. This place has a 4.7 star rating and a great looking Menu. Maybe it's a Ridgefield Connecticut thing to go there for an enjoyable atmosphere. For the food quality it was too expensive comparatively as view on their website. We picked it because of the Great Rating. The head manager/owner was great and the staff was very attentive. We had dessert and coffee the coffee was nice and strong, fantastic but dessert was a version of crème brûlée taste was good Caramelized sugar wasn't there. When the Restaurant manger asked how was everything I had to let him know, he appreciated it and took the coffee off of the bill. We still gave a 20% tip for the great service. Sad to say We won't ever go back

Service was very good and the vibe overall was laid back and enjoyable. Cocktails were very good (loved my old fashioned). We had a bunch of appetizers and everything was pretty good. Loved the grilled seafood appetizer that had an amazing sauce with it. The pea and strawberry salad was good but was overdressed, so it was a little soggy but the flavors were good. My main dish was the short rib tater tot appetizer which was not what I expected (it was four big tots with the short ribs mixed in) but it was still good. We all split a blueberry buckle for dessert and that was amazing. Will definitely go back!

The staff was super friendly and had such positive attitudes making the experience enjoyable. There is a parking lot located to the side of the restaurant where you can easily park. However, I believe there is a two hour limit. If you plan to come for brunch on the weekends, make sure to reserve a table ahead of time because it fills up fast! There was a line out the door as I left. I ordered the southern breakfast with the grits and bacon from the menu, however, they offered plenty of brunch specials as well. The portions are plenty filling, offering generous servings that leave you satisfied without feeling like you need anything extra. I would love to come back and try some of their dinner options.
