I had the Zoom whitening. Let me tell you this: It hurts! Not during the procedure. There is some…read moresensitivity during the procedure, but it isn't bad. Once I left the office and got in the car, however, my teeth felt like lighting was hitting it (google "Zoom Whitening Zingers). This CONSTANT shooting pain in my mouth lasted about 10 hours, and didn't completely go away until I woke up the next day. It is probably the worst pain I've ever had. I've broken bones, had teeth pulled without novacaine, and I have tattoos on my arms and legs. The pain I felt after this procedure hurt way more than any of those experiences. I would rather get a tattoo on my eyes than experience the pain I felt again. The office did not brief me in person that this pain will be that bad. I was told on paper that "some sensitivity may occur" and that's it. The procedure took about an hour from start to finish. BUT This is a review of Artistic Dentistry, not a review of the Zoom Whitening Procedure offered by them. I felt I should include that bit about my experience with Zoom, because this is one of the most popular services offered by Artistic Dentistry. The office is very clean, and the hygienists are friendly. I am very happy with the results of my Zoom whitening. I got 14 shades lighter. If you want white teeth and can endure pain, I'd recommend Zoom from Artistic Dentistry. If you already have white teeth, or you don't like pain, don't get Zoom whitening. This procedure varies from person to person in terms of pain and sensitivity, but all the people that I've met who have got Zoom report the same pain. Women have said it feels worse than childbirth, so take that into consideration. Am I glad I got Zoom? Yes. Would I have gone through with it if I would have known how bad it would hurt afterwards? Absolutely not. I gave Artistic Dentistry 4 stars because they were very professional and provided me with the service I asked them to provide.

I slipped and fell a little over a month ago, landing on my face and needed a lot of work to get my front teeth fixed. I called first thing in the morning after this happened and Dr. Denis was able to take me in right away. After assessing my situation, he began work on my smile immediately. He made me feel so comfortable, I was nice and numb while he was working on me (my first visit took almost 3 hours). I was very upset about what had happened to my teeth and he put me at ease, explaining that he was going about helping me the same way he would if it was his wife in his chair. I've had about 5 visits in the past month and a half, with at least 2 more to go, but I'm looking as good as new. I recommend him to everyone I meet. Even friends who live in the city I tell to come down to the suburbs and see him. He has really made a situation that could be so painful and ugly be somewhat easy and comforting. If you are looking for a dentist in the south suburbs, definitely come meet Dr. Denis Bartz.

I was very impressed with the staff members at the front desk, very friendly and efficient.I contacted the office and they got me in right away. The next day after I saw Dr. Rohan and he made his recommenations for treatment I went into the office to have a cleaning done. I was again impressed with the friendly staff. The hygienist, Samantha was just wonderful. She gave me an excellent exam before the cleaning. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She really took her time to explain everything to me and also recommended some suggestions which I found very helpful. I would definitely reccommend this office for your future denistry. Let me start by saying Dr Tammy Giannetta, is a great dentist and care was great…read more What I am not impressed with is her hatred for silver fillings that us Gen X people have. I never went in there and asked to have them removed, and every time I would come in she would find a new cavity (very hard to believe now looking back) so then out of pocket was running between $150-300 each time, the bigger problem is one of the new composite fillings that replaced a silver filling is now a larger issue for me and will cost me well over $1200 to fix the damage she cause from the removal of the silver filling and leaving a hole in the tooth. My new dentist reviewed my whole file and X-rays and found nothing that could have been a reason to remove the silver filling. Thank god I do not need a root canal but only a crown, and this is coming from someone who has been to a dentist every 6 months since I was 3 years old. My new dentist is also friends with my previous dentist (who retired hence Dr G visit) I must have looked like a patient with $$$ signs above my head but trusting Dr G that she was knowledgeable and now to only find out some tooth damage is a bigger price to pay.

They scheduled the appointment and told me they would make the crown there so I would not have to wait. So I went in for a long day. The right upper was fine.
