While I feel weird giving a dentist 5 stars, I think that yes, they are as good as it gets... in…read moredentistry. I originally went here with a Groupon for two dental implants. You may be surprised that Groupon offers these kinds of deals, but there are actually many, especially Summer '12. However, as someone who was looking at these deals specifically, I know that this one was the best because they were the only ones offering temporary and permanent crowns with this cost. The rest just offered the screw. I snatched it and made an appointment immediately. (They also have coupons for cleaning in ValuPak envelopes.) If I were treated any differently because of the Groupon, it would be a positive difference. They charged me for the sedation, but at a discounted price, and got the second sedation for free. They worked with me and gave me a flat low rate for bone grafting, no matter how much I needed. They have worked with me to pay as little as possible, and always fit me into the schedule. The staff is incredibly friendly. With my (now fixed) oral predicament, I've seen many the dentist in my lifetime, and this office is the second friendliest I've ever been to. The reigning dentist is cheating. He was our TX realtor's boyfriend and he had a free arcade machine. To a 5th grader, this is very important. While they tend to run late getting you in there, I blame this on being friendly and thorough, the waiting room is really comfy and offers their patients drinks. (I am too scared that they charge for them, so I've never taken one. Who offers Starbucks frappuccinos for free?!?) While very few, there are some negatives about this place. The lateness, yes. I do kind of get a feeling of a car salesman or repair shop, always finding something wrong, always getting me a "good deal", but I do have a lot wrong, as well as trust issues when it comes to dentists. However, I think they are for your interests and not purposely swindling you. Finally, I was a bit concerned about the guarantee of the implants. 1 year no questions asked, 5 (additional?) years if you keep up with your cleanings at this office. I have been quoted at a 800-implants place for lifetime warranty, but no such luck at this office. "Life is a long time". Let's hope that these puppies don't break! Knowing my luck, they will on year 6.

I had the Zoom whitening. Let me tell you this: It hurts! Not during the procedure. There is some…read moresensitivity during the procedure, but it isn't bad. Once I left the office and got in the car, however, my teeth felt like lighting was hitting it (google "Zoom Whitening Zingers). This CONSTANT shooting pain in my mouth lasted about 10 hours, and didn't completely go away until I woke up the next day. It is probably the worst pain I've ever had. I've broken bones, had teeth pulled without novacaine, and I have tattoos on my arms and legs. The pain I felt after this procedure hurt way more than any of those experiences. I would rather get a tattoo on my eyes than experience the pain I felt again. The office did not brief me in person that this pain will be that bad. I was told on paper that "some sensitivity may occur" and that's it. The procedure took about an hour from start to finish. BUT This is a review of Artistic Dentistry, not a review of the Zoom Whitening Procedure offered by them. I felt I should include that bit about my experience with Zoom, because this is one of the most popular services offered by Artistic Dentistry. The office is very clean, and the hygienists are friendly. I am very happy with the results of my Zoom whitening. I got 14 shades lighter. If you want white teeth and can endure pain, I'd recommend Zoom from Artistic Dentistry. If you already have white teeth, or you don't like pain, don't get Zoom whitening. This procedure varies from person to person in terms of pain and sensitivity, but all the people that I've met who have got Zoom report the same pain. Women have said it feels worse than childbirth, so take that into consideration. Am I glad I got Zoom? Yes. Would I have gone through with it if I would have known how bad it would hurt afterwards? Absolutely not. I gave Artistic Dentistry 4 stars because they were very professional and provided me with the service I asked them to provide.

The next day my face was swollen and I was in agonizing pain. I went to another dentist and he referred me to the endodontist right away! Dr. Splitt, you should be ashamed of yourself! With that many years in practice you knew exactly what you were doing! You just wanted to get the money for the procedure and you did not care about patient in pain and all the consequences your actions could've caused. Such a person should not be practicing dentistry.

I explained the sittuation and what was supposed to be done and she hands me a bill saying I had to pay 500 up front which is fine but I already notified them I would be able to pay it on the next payday, she just said sorry we cant do anything for you until we get that down payment, mind you im telling her that they are just supposed to finish the work they started last week and that I've been walking around for 7 days with a drilled open tooth and exposed nerve , and she just says sorry they couldnt help me . Around June 2022, I went in for mild tooth pain and Dr. Dabbour took x-rays. After he performed the exam, he explained that a root canal was my "only option" and the procedure would cost over $2500. Fortunately, I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and it turned out to only be a very small cavity that was easily filled. I called the office and complained about the unnecessary root canal recommendation, but the doctor never bothered to call me back. Incompetence or a scam?
