Banana bucks has been one of my favorite dessert places in this city. They are always very friendly and the shaved ice and ice cream is phenomenal. The interior is designed nicely, and there is a lot of outdoor seating available. My favorite is the banana flavor with vanilla ice cream at the bottom. I'd highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Bahama bucks is such a cool place for that little sweet treat you're craving! They have so many different flavors and mixes for your shaved ice or even other cool treats! The vibe it's pretty cool and the staff is so nice!

Hey now, Redlands has their own Joe's Italian Ice! I know this is a chain but Omgee their ice is wayyy better than the ones I've had in Hawaii. My bf who isn't a fan of shaved iced really enjoyed his bomb pop. The price point is really good and the serving sizes are huge! We both got a small and couldn't finish them. If this is your first time get your shaved ice with ice cream, makes it more creamy and delicious. Bahama Buck's come to the SGV pleaassee!

Easy, fast and yummy! Bahama bucks is always a great option for a sweet treat. Service could have been better but overall normal bahama bucks experience. Parking in this location on weekends is a NIGHTMARE so be prepared, however it's worth having lunch in the area and getting dessert at bahama bucks afterwards.

Strawberry + Blue Coconut, Mango + Dreamsicle

The best shaved ice that I've ever had. The ice here is so fine and smooth, it's almost like eating soft serve. It's so much better than the typical crushed ice snow cone. I recommend ordering it Bahama Rama Mama style with a scoop of ice cream and a cream drizzle. Highly recommended, especially on a hot day (which is most days out here).

FIRST TIMER. I have been wanting to try this place because I have been hearing about it and how much people love it. I placed an order through yelp/grubhub for a 12 oz Small Sno Pina colada with sno pops and tropic crème flat top. It was $11.17 + taxes it equaled to $12.04. The workers were great! No complaints. They had my order ready and I was on my way out within a few minutes of walking in. There was only one customer before me. I like their decor inside too ! The drink itself......WOOWWWWWWWW! It was so delicious, super refreshing on this hot day, and also very nostalgic! I loved the pop rocks addition. Although their menu can be a bit overwhelming, it is definitely something worth willing to tackle. I cannot wait to come back and try some more of their treat! I highly recommend you to try them out especially on those hot sunny days when you're looking for a nice cold treat.

Located in Mountain Grove, Redlands. Service was good. The shaved ice cone in a cup was so delicious! I want to go back like everyday and try the entire menu. Definite recommendation.

I thought they accidentally put a filling in my sno, but it was just white ice. the girl up front messed up our order so they had to remake it. The workers were obviously annoyed with us, although we didn't get a receipt so we didn't know anything was wrong until we got our order. The place was clean and service was fast.

I'm so I can't comment on food obviously because there is no food. Lol but all they're other stuff is good. I honestly just go for the shaved ice and the fact you can pay just to get ice is awesome. I prefer this because it keeps me hydrated very well, and I'm anemic so eating ice is a bad habit of mine, but chewing on this ice isn't bad at all. All they're flavors are good, if I will mention one thing is that sometimes some of the flavors like the sugar free cherry melt the ice to fast to it's super concentrated toward the bottom if you drink it through a straw. Other than that it's all good. Drinks are great. Service and staff is great. Ambiance is nice and cool & great!

Richie U.

They've got soo many flavors to choose from, including sugar free options, it's amazing! Aside from serving up shaved-ice, they also have smoothies too! There's not a whole lot of seating inside but there's a good amount just outside in the courtyard. They have a rewards program, so make sure to sign up online. Save your reciept so you can apply it to your rewards account. Most importantly though, try not to get brain freeze .

I just happened to be in the area for some retail Therapy. And saw this gem in passing so I said why not on this hot day. I have never been anywhere that is like Bahamas bucks or even tried shaved iced at the fair. So I was impressed because it was all new to me and the ice is so soft. The ice they use is so light and fluffy and I like the variety of sizes. I'm not in this area often but I would come back again definitely. Great place for the kids or family plus I would say it's pretty lactose friendly since most if not all the items are made of just ice and flavors. The customer service was solid nothing to crazy to mention but considering it's a Sunday they are fast. It's a great spot and many fun menu items. Definitely come because you may not find anything else quite like it also the place is pretty clean no issue there. They also seating outside not much inside.

(Though the color looks much paler haha) I had a regular scoop (two flavors) of ice cream: kona mocha chip and green tea! We also bought a pint of pineapple Dole Whip to take home :) They allow you to try samples! And the staff were very friendly! We asked to keep our pint in the freezer while we dine-in, then retrieve it later right before we leave; they accommodated us perfectly! We even joked about the Coachella Valley dates that they sell, with the employee saying the dates saw Lady Gaga(?) and I said they even saw BigBang BAHAHA Side note, they were verrrry slow with service. We had been maybe the third party in line for about 10-15 minutes with the line not even moving for a while (maybe the customers ahead of us were ordering something complicated or indecisive). Here I was to experience it once more. Yes, I've been here in the past. Parking was easy right in front of the shop. It was about 20 minutes until closing time. There was still a line, but not too long so it went swiftly. Atmosphere was clean and bright. Ambiance has a Hawaiian flare to it. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I was in Hawaii. Limited outside seating and some inside seating. There's a cool cabana hut-like section you may sit at. One all gender restroom available for use. Staff was super fantastic and friendly. They serve the ice cream in quite a variety... fruit bowls, mangonada, vegan/dairy free ice cream, soft serve, floats, shakes, etc. You may even take home pre-packaged pints to-go. Cute shirts for sale, too. As for here, free samples available on any flavors. You may try them all (that's what they say). Sweet! Of course I didn't try all of them, but maybe one day I will. WOW, so many unique and interesting combination of flavors. I sampled 5 flavors as shown below. *Navels & Ganache - Bright navel orange ice cream mixed with rich, dark chocolate ganache chunks *Ube Macapuno - Philippine purple ube root mixed with macapuno (coconut) puree *Date Casablanca - Medajool date ice cream with a date/caramel swirl *Honeysuckle Rose - Honey sweetened vanilla ice cream with rose petal extract *Kauai Pie - Kona coffee ice cream, Hawaiian macadamia nuts, shredded and lightly toasted coconut, and rich dark chocolate fudge I ended up getting one regular cup with 2 flavors for $6.50... very reasonable price! My two picks were Ube Mascapuno and Kauai Pie. Good size scoops. Very rich and smooth texture. Ube was spectacular! YUMMY!! Kauai was good, but unfornately, it didn't pair too well with Ube IMHO. I won't do that again. I will, however, return and try their other fun and tasty flavors. I'll be back and so should you if you've been here before. If you haven't tried them, Lappert's is a must visit when you're in Redlands. Happy Ice Cream!

The ice cream itself is really good, and the taco shells they serve it in are delicious too. The service is always lovely. Everyone there is super sweet and friendly, which definitely makes the experience even better. The prices are also very reasonable. I think it's around $7.95 for a rolled ice cream, which feels like a pretty standard price for that kind of dessert. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is the ambiance. The place itself is just a little lackluster. It's not bad, it just doesn't have much of a vibe. But honestly, the ice cream and the friendly service still make it a great place to stop by. Overall, it's a great experience and a fun little treat spot. I love coming here to grab a snack with my son.

Turns out all those jaw-dropping Yelp cakes are basically VIP-only.... most are special order, so the display case was giving more "snack break" than "dessert heaven." The place is tiny, and with about 10 kids running a full-volume chaos baking convention, the vibe was less cozy bakery and more "Chuck E. Cheese but with aprons and a Kitchen Aid." Not exactly the peaceful, sugar-filled escape I had imagined. I grabbed a few items anyway, slightly disappointed about the limited options and the unexpected kid frenzy. But plot twist... once we got home, the pastries actually slapped!!! My kids were fully impressed and overruled my disappointment, bumping this place from a "meh" to a "fine, I guess you're good. They were extremely happy with the mini ube cake.
