I need to go here myself. My husbands parents went here and took our son. He came back home and I destroyed his coconut watermelon Shaved ice. Man once I figure out where you guys are located and I have some free time, we are soooooo going here!! It was so soft and didn't give me a brain freeze. read more

My first time here and I'm definitely coming back! The snow cones here reminds me of home back in New Orleans. The snows are soft and flavorful! And it doesn't melt so quick like most places I've been too! I got the Bahama Rama (alternative name for STUFFED SNOWBALLs) where they stuffed it with any ice cream of your flavor topped with ice and their specialty cream. It's A Must Try! My Fave in ATX so far! Go check this place out! read more

Always a treat! Lots of flavors and options. Some of our favorites are: wedding cake bahama rama (adds ice cream), blue raspberry bahama rama, mango picadilly (true favorite), and the smoothies. Customer service is always easy and in good spirits. The line can get long but that just shows how well they are liked. Plenty of parking. Decent amount of inside seating but usually full on warm days. read more

Bahama Buck's - Mango picadilly! Look at those pickles peeking out by the spoon. Num num... - Shaved Ice Near Me - Leander, Texas

This is my all time favorite dessert places, from shaved ice to smoothies, sodas to ice cream, this place seems to have it all. The management was very professional, and the owner "Scott" was extremely polite and courteous to everyone who entered the store. Try one of their Bahama Rama Mamas, they're a really unique, and delicious dessert! read more

Good snow cones, not the best service, and no Apple Pay which is annoying and inconvenient

The elderly woman was very short with me and did not make the environment very welcoming. One of the employees was reprimanded very harshly for something that wasn't even his/her fault. I did not like the environment but the frozen hot koko was still very delicious. read more

This place is exactly what's needed on a nice warm Texas day! Once you walk into this place you will instantly find yourself overwhelmed in the giant list of flavors to choose from. There is sure to be a flavor for everyone from sour patch to sugar cookie. Unlike other snow cone places this location will be sure to soak it with the flavor of your choice. They have many sizes to choose from. I always order the small and find it plenty as they fill it well over the top. I usually order sour patch and sour strawberry topped with sour patch sauce! One of the awesome staff members had me try the sour patch sauce and oh my did it not disappoint! Every staff member is incredible and will let you sample any flavors you would like to try. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get. Another great feature this place offers is a few card and board games to play while enjoying your snow cone. Highly recommend this place! read more

Friendly people but the shaved ice was NOT shaved ice. Complete mush drenched in syrup.

Was excited to experience this place! The only complaint is the serving size is misleading. None of our group could finish anything above a small. read more

All you could hope for in a super-sweet drink establishment. Dine in or drive-through, it's hard to beat it.

Completely respectable snocones! Not my favorite, but given how hard snocones are to come by in CP/Leander I'm happy to have a fairly close second fairly close by. Plus, drive-thru! I got my standard wedding cake with cream, the flavor by which I judge all snocone places. It was tasty, enough syrup but not so much that the ice got melt-y too fast. They go a little light on the cream, and only put it on top though. They have a huge favor menu & lots of non-snocone options for...well, I have no idea who wouldn't want a snocone! I'll definitely be back...sooner rather than later. Snocone season is here! read more

If you are craving shaved ice, this place is it. I'd stay with the smaller sizes. By the time you're done, your sugar intake has gone through the roof. Ohh. My girls found out they have color changing spoons. And much better service than my first time. The first time, only 1 person working and line was long. 20 min wait. This time, 2 dedicated people working drive threw and a few working lobby. Will become regulars read more

I've been to this restaurant twice before and had good experiences, but this time was a little different. When I was ordering I asked the lady if the drink I wanted was still available, and she told me yes. 30 minutes in to waiting, after both the other people I went with had been given their orders, a server finally came over to me and told me that it was not available. This means that they hadn't even started working on it yet after 30 minutes. I picked a different drink. After another 10 minutes, it came out in the wrong size and had to be redone. Once the drink came out at last, it was good but the service was absolutely horrible. read more

Came here for a family night and had a blast. Seriously, the best shaved ice I've ever had!

For the price it's a great place to go. However it pretty hit and miss too. A few times I've gone there have been chunks of ice in my shaved ice. Wasn't too happy about it. And their Tigers blood taste like Hawaiian Punch. Yuck! But when it's hot enough, I still stop by. read more

love Bahama Bucks!!! the best shaved ice! And the atmosphere is great, music, and games to play. I love taking my kids there!

Great so balls with tons of flavors. Great place to bring an out-of-town guest. Wish we had one closer to our house.

This place is amazing seriously my kids were in heaven and the blue bell ice cream just gets it 5 stars

I was really excited to try some shaved ice, as I walked in the tables and floors were super disgusting. Looked like they let the kids trash their floor with the syrup but I was still interested in trying an original flavor for shaved ice...tigers blood. It tasted like it had cinnamon and some red flavoring I couldn't put my finger on( wasn't yummy)Although I do like when people put their own flavor to things it just wasn't a great experience and shaved ice wasn't worth it. Will not be back. read more

Great flavor options, really friendly staff. Nice family atmosphere. Is a great place to hang out and have a light dessert.

These are just so delicious. The kids working there are always polite and fast, and the flavor options are insane. So glad this place was recommended to us. read more

Seriously took 40 minutes to get three snow cones. When we finally got to order, they handed us over to three different people because of microphone issues. We went on a Sunday afternoon at three so, not the busiest time. There was no real excuse for this and we were really disappointed. read more

My kids and I really enjoy this place. They have a large selection of flavors and it's always fun to try something new. The employees are always friendly and upbeat. They are usually crowded in the afternoons, but they have a drive through which helps to avoid the line inside. read more

i had to throw my sno cone away im so ypset because i took some bites then it had a smell smelled like expired cream/milk or the flavor they put in it it idk but was disgusting !!!! read more

Great friendly service and the prices are not too steep. We've use the drive through and the wait time is generally 2-4 minutes. The menu is pretty awesome and the shaved ice had me feeling pretty nostalgic. Great business, great product. read more

Not the best I've had, but still really good ((: love the variety of flavors. Glad to see a place like this close to home. There is this place called snoball shack outside of HEB, and I have not found a place that compares... until now! read more

This place is awesome. So many flavors to choose from! You are never stuck with ice at the bottom like a snow cone. They put a ton of syrup in it :) read more

I have been here twice. The first time I got a sugar free flavor and the after taste was so bad, I couldn't keep eating it. The second time I went I got the pickle juice flavor and it wasn't pickle juice!! It was more like that twang pickle salt. It was terrible. I had to throw that one out too. How disappointing. They have so many awesome sounding flavors, they just don't taste great. read more

We love Bahama bucks! Service was super quick and staff is friendly. Tons and tons of flavor a to pick from, so start looking as soon as you arrive!! Fun for kids. The siZes can look outrageous but I had the one, one step up from tiniest and it was perfect... You can probably eat more than you think! Love the little umbrellas. Very clean too!! read more

The flavors taste too chemically and processed and are not true to their names. The ice consistency, though, is soft and melts in your mouth and the presentation cute. Overall, I'm too pleased. read more

The only place to get shaved ice!!!! So smooth and fine. And the flavor options and combos are plentiful you would never have to have the same flavor if you dare. read more

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. My son's birthday is in December, which means no swimming parties or other typical summer birthday parties. It's hard to find something fun and original in December. I thought that snow would be fun, and an ice company referred me to Bahama Buck's. I ordered 300 snowballs for 11am on Sunday. They don't open until 1, but the manager said they would come in early to complete my order. When I got there, the manager and 2 employees had made the snowballs, and delivered them to my car. My son and his friends had such a blast with the snowball fight. It's hard to find a business willing to open early, especially on a Sunday. The manager even called later to check in. Highly recommend this place. read more

This place is such a great hangout for families and Tweens-teens! There are Yummy shaved ices in so many flavors I can't even count, including crazy ones like pickle juice, and adding a scoop of ice cream to a flavor like root beer float or Jamaican rum is heavenly. However, my favorite thing about BBs is the friendly environment. It's a great spot for kids to come and have some social time, maybe a double date. For groups or families, they have board games to play! My family and enjoy coming here even when it's just a quick convenient drive-through stop for our favorite flavors! Thank you for coming to Leander! read more

Yum. The best shaved ice in town. This place had lots of staff so the drive thu and the indoor moved fairly quickly. Mostly a HS hang out with HS students working there. Great family place. They had TV with plenty of seating. We didn't play any games but I saw a shelf full of board and card games which is great idea. read more

Just left Sonics after offering my desert there because if their poor service. I'll take Bahama bucks any day! Mature teens working here!

I love to come here and get the cola or the blue bubble gum! The service is quick and the employee's are super nice! You will get a punch card and after you buy 10 of their items, you will get the 11th free, any size! They have one that is 44 ounces and if you wait and make that your 11th, you'll be in love! read more

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a party pack for teacher appreciation week. When I arrived to pick it up, I was disappointed to find it was not ready. The manager was quick to apologize and make the situation right. (Upgraded from a junior to a full party pack for the same price) Twenty minutes later...some very surprised and happy teachers. One even commented that it made her day!! The snocones were great! Love that the texture is truly like snow. I appreciate how the manager stepped up and helped me make some teachers smile. One of them even told me today that she's "hooked" on Bahama Bucks. read more

Great atmosphere and service. My kids love it, but very difficult with small children since they don't have high chairs! Otherwise 5 stars! A small expense that makes a huge difference to parents especially if you are the only adult. Please consider adding them! Thanks! read more

We love this place and frequent it often and though the service is not the reason we go, tonight it was exceptionally bad. It was not busy and we stood as a family of four for several minutes, made eye contact with several employees wondering if any would acknowledge our presence and take our order. Finally, after awhile, a young man came to the register, didn't greet us, and simply started plugging in my order as I told him. A family next to us had the same trouble and made the comment it was annoying no one was coming to take their order. There was no indication who was in charge, but whoever it was, they were not doing a great job, especially considering there was no one in the drive-thru and only a few families sitting down already with their food. We definitely did not feel like our business was wanted as they all stood around chatting, and doing odd and end jobs. Hopefully it was just a one time deal because when going places with a baby & toddler in tow, the last thing we need is to go to a place that is not prompt and efficient with their service. We felt it was very unprofessional and were disappointed in our experience tonight. read more

Great flavors and treats and close to home. Love the super sour flavors. But the prices are too high for ice and syrup, especially if you are buying for a carload of kids. My biggest complaint is the service. The young kids that work there are friendly, cheerful, and seem to be enjoying working there...maybe too much. They move slowly, stand around talking to each other and generally goofing off...even when they are busy. The drive-thru is the worst...which is what I use most of the time to keep from dragging the kids inside. It takes a minimum of 5 minutes per car. That really adds up when there are several cars in front of you. I've seen people pull out of line many times...as have I...after waiting for 10 minutes and not moving an inch. I would stop at this place for a treat more often, especially during this hot Texas summer heat if the wait was not so long. Anymore, if I'm driving by and see more than 1 or 2 cars in line I just drive on by and go to the Sonic just down the street. I like Bahama Bucks shaved ices better than Sonic Slushes but I hate the wait. Maybe the kids working there could save their goofing off for when there are no customers. read more
