I was so happy to hear about a place from back home coming to Cedar Park and man did I miss their gelato. This place is totally worth taking a lactáid for, their gelato is that good. Got the orange Italian ice with ice cream--tastes just like an orange creamsicle! We came on a Friday night around 9 and there was no line. There's a variety of flavors, and the small size looks small but it ended up being a lot of ice cream/italian ice. Love that the ice is so fine and custard is smooth and creamy. The drive over to Cedar Park was completely worth this experience! They have gelati, Italian ice, and soft serve and you can combine any of those in any flavor. I appreciate this as you don't see many non-dairy options when you go to ice cream places. This opens a new world of combinations! Great summer treat that is super refreshing. I haven't had good Italian shaved ice in years, so thrilled to have this close by. Super affordable too. Their ice is great texture and just sweet enough. Mango was probably my favorite flavor, followed by the key west tropical, watermelon and then pina colada. The soft serve was pretty good and less stiff than others I've had, giving it a more blended texture but the end. It puts the soft in soft serve. That said in the future I think I'd just go straight Italian ice. read more
