I was able to redeem the coupon in the app. I placed the order through the drive thru and then presented my coupon from the app at the window. I ordered the small sno with cherry and cream flavors. The ice is super smooth and fluffy and they give you plenty of syrup. The serving size is generous with ice over the top of the cup. There was a small up charge for the cream topping. Bahamas Buck's is the only place I'll go out my way to get snow cones from! I usually only go inside but have gone through the drive thru once before. I will admit I think the service is much slower through the drive thru than inside. But! The quality of the ice is so so soft, I love coming here. The flavors and add ons are good. It can add up but you get a lot of snow cone for the size. I get the small and it always ends up bigger than I thought. What's nice about Bahama Bucks is not only the softness of the ice but also the fact they put the topics and flavors in the middle of the snowcone as well! Most places on put it on the top and let it soak through, but I had sprinkles and crème in the middle of this snowcone as well. As a lover of bahama bucks, I was thrilled to see one here when we moved back to Austin. It pains to say that I will never, ever return to this location. The location is garbage and shares a building with 7-11. Trash all over the parking lot, both literally and figuratively. Just a general sense of uncleanliness. The employees were friendly and the shaved ice was good. But that's where it stops. My child needed to use the bathroom. The employee didn't know the code (gave us the wrong one) so we had to ask the workers in 7-11 who were unfriendly. Y'all. I'm an ER nurse so it takes a lot to phase me. When I say this was one of the nastiest bathroom I've ever been in... I almost gagged from the smell alone which was an overwhelming stench of urine with a hint of feces and marijuana. There was dried urine all over the floor making it sticky, with half-wet toilet paper glued all over the floor. The drain cover on the ground was missing and it was filled with a bunch of trash. I've only seen one other bathroom worse than this in my entire 35+ years of life. This wasn't an "oops, someone messed it up within the last hour, it's normally clean". It's obvious this bathroom is rarely cleaned. It was so repulsive, we threw away what was left of our shaved ice and left. read more

From the looks of the place you'd think they have the best setup of anyone in the Snow Cone business. Unfortunately the Snow Cones themselves here leave a bit to be desired. I have had two Snow Cones from here and both times the ice was super dry and kinda compacted and reformed into an ice block. I'm not quite sure how it happened but it seemed like all the Ice in my cup somehow stuck and froze together. It was hard to scoop out of the cup and just not what I'm looking for in a Snow Cone. I think soft ice is really important to a Snow Cone and having had the same experience multiple times ... well I cant in good faith give them more than two stars. They do have lots of flavors and you can get Ice Cream in your Snow Cone if you want which is pretty cool. read more

In that 20 minutes, I watched the girl handling the ice with gloves on touch her face and hair, open a cabinet or fridge door and touch multiple bottles of syrup before returning to the grab a handful of ice and shove it in a cup. I mentioned to the manager and she said "they only handle the ice". No ma'am they are touching everything and the ice. There is a lot of activity but nothing is getting done. Just don't do it. We been here a couple of times because it is easy to come thru here when you live down the street :) Sodas, snow cones (raspas), smoothies, bowls, and the like is what you can find here. You can customize your order with all the good extra toppings you want. I noticed there was a sign that indicated there is a happy hour from maybe 2pm - 5pm for 1/2 sodas? We got our free treat and hardly had a wait even though the place was packed with families and some of them playing board games here. They have been drive-up and delivery only now in these trying Covid times but hardly a wait in your car either. Make note that the drive up menu is at the furtherest end (near the convenient store) and a small hill up to the take out window. Horrible snow cone place been going here with my girlfriend for almost a year now. The ice they use is either contaminated and not filtered properly or their syrups have some terrible ingredient that makes the snow cones taste salty and the management just doesn't realize at all. If you suck all the syrup out of the ice it just tastes like bleach or salt and not ice. The last and final time I went the salt taste was so bad I could barley taste the syrup in a regular size snow cone. The line is long whether you order in or drive-thru, and I am okay with the wait, since there is air conditioning in there or my car, but that shows how good these snow cones are. Just left this location where we waited 45 mins. Once I received my snow-cone and began eating it I got to a part that didn't have flavoring on it (straight ice) I took a bite and was in absolute shock to the flavor. It tasted like straight bleach/ cleaning product. My fiancé took a bite of the same part and immediately spit it out. This location is staffed entirely by what appear to be 14 year olds. They never input your order into the POS system while taking it, so the order is always wrong. Out of 5 times that I've been to this location, my order has been wrong four of those because the staff is too busy playing around (they often forget to mute the drive in microphone) to actually do their job. An impolite and curiously unprofessional young female staff member put an end to that with a not-particularly-friendly and rude comment. Ended up going to the 7-Eleven next door. And when handing us our orders, they didn't know which one had the ice cream add on. We asked and they just said yes. For us to later find out there was no ice cream in it at all. However, I went out of my way to give this place a shot--I ordered 2 "natural" snow cones in watermelon and mango flavors. After waiting an exceedingly long time in the drive thru line (even though there were only 2 cars in front of me), I was handed 2 colorless snow cones, which I thought was odd. I tasted the mango as I pulled away, and it was very sweet and artificial tasting, with no tartness or even a remote mango flavor. I decided to sample the watermelon I'd gotten for my partner and it tasted exactly the same. It seemed like they'd dumped some Splenda over ice and called it a day. I got a large skinny wedding cake with sugar free cream. As I started to eat it I was definitely disappointed. It had a weird after taste. I also was not a fan of how packed the ice was. I know they are sculpting it by hand but I wasn't into it at all. I ate the top part of the snow cone and decided I couldn't handle the after taste anymore. Talk about a diamond in the ruff, Stassney and Congress, well worth the traffic to get to. Took a truck load of kiddos after a hot day of fishing and jumped in line. I waited 21 minutes for one regular sized sno. When I arrived there were 2 cars already at the window. That took 10 minutes so I figured the store was busy as well as the window. Not the case when I got to the window. Empty store.
