We have eaten Bahama Breeze twice on our vacation this weekend. Both times had exceptionally amazing food. The wait staff is courteous and takes care of their tables. Our server Jay was one of the best servers we've ever had. Everything we got was absolutely delicious. I can't Rave enough about how good this restaurant is. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you to all the staff at Bahama Breeze for making our meals enjoyable. If I could give a hundred stars to this restaurant I would. read more

After trying to decide where to eat dinner after spending a long day at the airport from NY, my hotel concierge suggested my husband and I to try this restaurant along with several others. They have this chain restaurant in NY as well. The food was excellent, we ordered the beef empanadas as an appetizer and I had the Cuban bowl (light portion)which came with fried pork cubes, yellow rice, plantain and red onions. The meal was delicious! My husband order the ribs and fries which he said was good, however the coleslaw lacked any flavor. I was disappointed with the service. My server Steve spoke like a robot and proceeded to question my Id when I asked for my drink. (Which was very weak after I asked him to give me one of the strongest drinks on the menu. I ordered the painkiller. - warning this drink is not strong at all and tasted like juice). Steve claimed he was from NY and had never heard of the town I am from which was listed on my id. A few minutes later my husband and I were looking for local lounges around the area to go to. I asked the waitress (African American with blonde hair) if she knew of a particular lounge that was suggested on yelp. She said a quick no, and then walked swiftly away which I thought was extremely rude. Would I come back to this location? I don't know. The food was very good, however, management needs to have their staff work on their people skills. It's also interesting to know that after 10pm it turns almost into a mini lounge. A cop generally stands in the front of the establishment to make sure patrons are not disorderly. read more

I came here on a Saturday evening, pleasantly surprised to hear live music. I was a bit annoyed there were 4 hostesses at the front talking while 2 patrons waited to be seated. I kept a cool head and was seated in a very spacious booth. The chicken tortilla soup was delicious! The burger was flavorless...so I doused it in ketchup to make it edible. Chicken tostones were not that great--overdone with toppings. Food came out quickly. Ironically, it started going downhill towards the end of the meal. Our waitress went missing, probably had another section, and it took longer than anticipate to pay the check. She also drew lines to show the suggested gratuity...I thought that was tacky. read more

It was my mom birthday, we had a party of 12 people, we waited 50 minutes for the table, the restaurant wasnt even full. There was 5 hostesses and two managers, the table was ready and set up and we asked all the hostess why they couldnt sit us and they just answered that they can't. Thay hay awful service, there was 5 hostess and nobody helped us, I will never come back to this place ever. Their customer service is the worst starting for the managers and then the hostesses read more

This is no longer the Bahama Breeze you used to love. Slow service at best and the manager could care less. There was a half eaten chicken wing by the outside server area that never got picked up while we were there. 2 roaches made a scene at the patio. read more

We went to my mother in law birthday and we waited for almost 1 hour for a table of 15, the restaurant wasn't even full, a lot of tables were seated before us and they got there after our party, every time we asked a hostess or manager for the table they always answered that they were setting up the table, but the table was ready, we could see the table from the waiting area, the table was ready buy they said that they just can't sit us..m we never understand the reason why they never gave us the table. They have a terrible customer service, we talked to two of the managers, and there was 5 hostesses and nobody helped us... they ruined my mother in law birthday, we had to leave to a different restaurant.. we will never come back to that restaurant ever. read more

Although we have always enjoyed Bahama Breeze restaurants everywhere else, this one was not good. The facility was very dirty, particularly by the fire pit. The fans were not working and it was uncomfortably hot inside. The food service was slow and the food presentation was poor. The food was still good tasting but the combination of being uncomfortable, sloppy presentation and slow service really affected the experience. read more

We made a reservation for 8pm and were finally seated at 9pm. I understand that they were waiting for the departure of another party in the only area that could accomodate us. The said party left, still waited another 20 minutes..Only to be seated somewhere else. They do not respect their reservations. read more

We made a reservation a week ahead for 630. We arrived on time to get seated in the worst table possible. It was on the patio with the sun blaring in our eyes. The band was so loud we could not talk to each other. Several other guest were relocated but we were not. I had good experiences in the past but this will keep us from returning. Too many other restaurants around. read more

Overall it was alright. It was mine and my friends first time at bahama breeze and I've heard how good it was from friends. First we cane at around 3:20pm ish so it was alightly busy but not packed. The host got my name and my number and told me that the wait time would be abt 25 mins and I would receive a text when they were ready for us. After 25 mins of waiting, i never got a text so i just went back inside to sit on the chairs outside for about another 10 minutes. A person came in after we sat down got a seat before us even though we came first by 30 minutes so we were really confused. Then the host came to ask us if we were waiting for something...i mean yes of course? Found out that they "called" us in and they took out name off because they didn't get a respond...? But they did apologize and took us to a table so it was fine, i don't really like causing a commotion anyways. So our server was very nice, very attentive so she was great. The problem was the plates that were given to us was dirty and had dried greens on it...then when we got our food, less than half way in there was a metal foil pot scrubbing piece in my pasta. My friend had a random piece of fries in her food (she didn't order anything with fries) so again, at the end we told our server about it and she was nice about and said she will ask someone to come. We waited for about 5 minutes and some lady came to us and I'm guessing she was the manager or I'm not really sure. So wyen she asked if everything was okay we replied...yeah? Because we didn't know she was the one that was supposed to talk to us. So after that she walked away and my friend and i was left there pretty confused. So we sat for another 5 minutes and nothing...so we just stood up and left. The same lady was standing near the ramp so i decided to talk to her about it and she apologized kind of and asked if I wanted a refund and a new meal. Again I wasn't to cause such a commotion so i declined. So for the first time visiting Bahama breeze I was pretty taken aback by what happened. Overall...maybe it was just my unlucky day but ill try to give them a chance again. Our server was noce and the food and drinks was good overall, just some unfortunate event happened. read more

The food wasn't horrible. I got a taste of my friend's pasta and it was pretty good. I only ordered two of their appetizers (conch fritters - nothing like Bahamas & some kind of mediocre tuna tartare) and a 'jager bomb' (came with a whole can of red bull, a sip of jager, and a glass of ice =/ ???). The server, she was nice, but she was SO slow! I kept seeing other servers around us constantly moving around back and forth, but ours seem to have fallen asleep on the way to grab a glass of water. OH...speaking of a glass of water... I sat there with no water for a while. She first brought a glass, but gave that to my friend as a refill. Next, she brought another glass along with my 'jager something' but took it and gave it to the table beside us. I was laughing because I couldn't believe it. She wasn't a horrible server. She was just maybe out of it that day. NO biggy. I would still go back. read more

I usually don't complain about any of my bad experiences in restaurant or any places. But I have to complain about this one. Of course I made reservation for 5 ppl. I was the first to arrive. The host sat me down at our table. So as I was sitting down I figure I'll just look thru the drink menu and order drinks while I'm waiting for the rest of my crew. As I'm sitting there 5 mins pass then another 5 mins pass. I'm looking around like "where is my server?!" I see servers walking back and forth passing my table. Not one server even greet me or make sure someone was taking care of me. So I sat there for 10-15 mins just looking around. Until I stop one server and asked her, who is my server? She said "oh, it's me, how are you?" Now this server been walking back and forth passing my table like I wasn't even there. If it's because all my party wasn't there, it's shouldn't be any excuses. She could have easily greet me and asked if I wanted a drink or wait for the rest of my party. But nope. She walked pass me like 5x! At least bring me water or something! Acknowledge that I'm there! I work in a restaurant business I know how it can be! They wasn't busy. So I didn't understand why she didn't come greet me! I can't tell you her name because she didn't bother to greet me professionally. There was no "hi, I'm so so, I'll be your sever. Can I get you something to drink to start off with while you're waiting?" And she didn't even tell me about any specials they are having either!! But overall the food was great!! Service not so much!! But me working in restaurant business I tipped her 15%. I'm a 20% and above type of tipper. I could easily tip her horribly but I know servers work off of tips. So hopefully my next experience will be better!! read more

Thank you to Nona the Manager and our server Lelah for the awesome service and the yummy food.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning soon. The atmosphere was quite unique, very casual and island like, with both indoor and outdoor seating. There was also live music which was quite nice especially at 3pm. I ordered the crab entree which was delicious and my mother ordered the lobster mac and cheese which was equally delicious. The only slight mishap was the temperature of the asparagus but the manager very kindly corrected the issue. I wish there were more locations in Georgia, but until then I'll keep coming to this one! read more

The food is great! Every time I go the food is exactly however I'm didn't give them 5 stars because our waitress was rushing to take our orders like she had to leave then she got one of the orders wrong and got mad and told the person who ordered it she knows what she heard and they were wrong. Shortly afterwards a new waitress comes to our table and said she was taking over. This lady was much nicer but we seen out old waitress at another table before we left. I guess her temper was so bad she switched tables which is rude and unprofessional considering no one yelled or was rude to her at all. I think Bahama breeze needs to work on some of their staff because I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with this issue. I will eat here again but if she's out waitress I'll be sure to ask for another person just like she did. read more

A great lunch spot if you work in the area. I was recommended to try the salmon tostada salad and it lived up to the hype. There are also some pretty good apps and coconut shrimp. I love Bahama breeze. This is one of my favorite place on pleasant hill to eat at. Some days they have live bands and they do happy hours. Normally when we have birthdays or whatever we go there and always have a great time. The good is delicious the service is great and anything and everything is affordable. I recommend sitting on the outside balcony when it's warm outside. They normally have it decorated like an island with the nice palm trees and the island drinks. This spot is pretty popular in duluth and you will see alot of people there in the summer time. It's a grestb place to go on a date or with friends as well. There are hotels next door so if you get drunk, you don't have to go home. You can just get yourself a room. read more

My family and I were racially profiled! We went to eat dinner on a Monday evening 730pm! Place was empty! Patio included. There were a few people sitting inside dining and on the patio! However we were told sitting on the patio wasn't available and offered inside sitting, which we declined. We are the customers and if the area isn't closed off, why can't we be accommodated! As we look at others sitting that were recently seated, no drinks or plates on the table! As soon as we turned and walked out, we see the same hostess sitting three different couples on the patio of a different race! As you can imagine, I was highly upset, I left my car and walked back up to the hostess station and waited for their return! I was advised management closed sitting and reopened it as soon as my family and I walked out the door, a 2/3 second window here , so if this was the case why wouldn't you come outside to stop me and seat us! The manager provided no better explanation as she rambled! Her initial approach to me wasn't hi my name is, or I apologize for your experience! It was I know you were turned away but I now have your table ready! She went on to say yes she did close the sitting area and when I mentioned her allowing money to leave the business on any night but especially a slow evening like today, she then stated she had no idea we had been turned away by the hostess. Lies, I will never return to spend a dime with this company! read more

Great food, service and atmosphere. Makes u want to go barefoot in the sand!! Ask for Ivanna! Great waitress.

Went to Bahama Breeze for lunch today with my mother, grandmother, and three year old daughter. It was amazing, I was disappointed at first with the kids menu. My daughter is not the typical child eater, she loves grilled and sautéed shrimp, not a big fan of fried foods. Noticed they didn't have a child option for shrimp, so we asked our waitress Christina if there was any way we could do something like that for my daughter. She went and checked and the kitchen manager came out and talked to us and he said we could definitely work out a kids sautéed shrimp meal, he asked what side she wanted to which my daughter shouts green beans. Our food was also excellent and Christina was a sweetheart. We will be making a point to go there more often, not many places will go that far to make a guest experience great. read more
