White Mountain Animal Hospital got me in same day even though we had never been there before. I didn't have much of a weight when I was there and the technician and the Vet were quick and efficient and pleasant. They even showed me how much it was going to be before it all happened. While I was out in the waiting room, anybody who came out of a room that worked there greeted me with kind words and a smile. The technician brought out antibiotics for my cat, I had a little trouble with my credit card, so I had to call them and was on hold for a long while, in the meantime, Amanda, the receptionist put my antibiotics in a bag with an ice pack so she wouldn't forget to give it to me and it would stay cold. After our visit, I got not one but two phone calls to check up on us. These are very caring people and I suggest them highly and I'm so glad I found them Thanks to one of my customers telling me about Dr. Bratcher. my cat and I were at ease the whole time. I definitely recommend making appointments weeks in advance, because they are very popular. My family also had their German shepherd groomed here for the first time recently. He's never been more soft and clean. They took such great care of him. He normally hates having his nails trimmed, to the point that most groomers refuse to touch his feet. Within days, both kittens were diagnosed with roundworms, Giardia, and pink eye. One of them is a tiny runt who was sold to me at under 5 weeks old far too young to be away from his mother. He nearly didn't make it and has required emergency vet care, prescription medications, and round-the-clock care just to survive. I've spent hundreds of dollars on vet bills, dewormers, antibiotics, and cleaning supplies just to get my house safe again. And now I'm left with two kittens who are fighting for their health because this place didn't care enough to treat them before selling them. They took my money out of greed and handed me sick animals with zero disclosure. If you are thinking about getting a pet here don't. Save yourself the heartbreak, the stress, and the vet bills. Go to a responsible breeder or a rescue that actually cares about the animals they place in homes. Read reviews apparently this has happened to other animals. They gave my dog some sort of burn and a corneal abrasion. She was red and swollen all down her…read morenose and around her eye, but the groomer never mentioned it when I picked her up. We took our poor dog to the vet the next morning, and the corneal abrasion was diagnosed. We had to put ointment in her eye for a week. I stopped by the groomer two days later and spoke to the woman who groomed her. She apologized for the injury, and said they had fired a shampooer for being rough. She verified my phone number, and said she would let the owner know. I never received a phone call or apology from the owner. They never offered to refund the grooming. The vet bill was not terribly expensive, but it's the principle of the matter. It felt like they don't care about our dog. We will not be back. I have since found a groomer in Show Low who is amazing, and I will drive the extra distance/30 minutes to make sure my dog is treated well.

The new shop owner did not want to discuss The poor grooming of our year and a half old Pomeranian. she said on the phone that she and her team watched the previous owner. Sandra do the grooming and they did it exactly as she did. Which is absolutely false. The whole back end of our Pomeranian is shaved up so all you can see is her undercoat. Her topcoat has been cut off or shaved off. We asked for a refund she said they don't do refunds. We bring five dogs to the shop and have for years we will never return. It's not that they don't do a good job. I'm sure but this was a terrible job and she didn't even wanna look at it. Plus, we discussed that her little private area had been shaving too close and she's been licking at nonstop so we were concerned that she might've been nicked during the grooming process. She again didn't want to discuss any of the details they don't do any refunds and she had nothing further to say about it. Would you take your precious animals to a shop that did business like this? This new business owners only been in charge for a few weeks and this is not a good way to conduct business. If it's the way they're going to move forward. I expect that a lot of other businesses in the area will be gaining business since we will be moving to someone else. I've never had to write a terrible review like this, but I absolutely am appalled. This pet is our child. We were not pleased with the grooming and we wanted to discuss it, but there was no room for discussion. I tried to include a photo but it's difficult for anyone to know and if I can include it before if I have one in my photo files I will show you as well, but you can clearly see that the Brown top code is gone and all you can see is the undercoat.
