I was fortunate to happen upon Carol Drymon and her incredible breed, the Cheetoh. This cat is very smart, playful, silky short haired, loves to be around me always, inquisitive about everything and barely sheds at all. Allergy issues lowered dramatically from all my other cats. I am 65 y.o. and this is the best cat I have ever had in my life. She is instantly adored by everyone who meets her. Happy to have met Carol in person. She is dilligent about raising the breed and goes above and beyond to ensure healthy litters with a guarantee, papers, guidelines for care and communication well beyond the date I received my kitten. Frayja was born from the same litter as the person "Kathy M" who claims she received a sick kitten from Carol Drymon, that her kitten was sick and died of FIP. I'm sorry your kitten got sick, Kathy, but my kitten from the same litter ,who I got just after you got your kitten, is not sick, and I have received two healthy cheetohs from Carol Drymon. Your kitten got sick either from your other rescue cat or after you got her home! Don't harm someone elses wonderful business because of this tragedy! This is Gigi and the little girl is Frayja both came from Carol Drymon and are the sweetest most beautiful, and healthy kittens. Gigi is over 9 months, and Frayja is over 6 months. We absolutely adore them! Both love water and swim, both fetch toys and they are inseparable! They absolutely love each other. They have been to our awesome vet several times already and are healthy and happy kitty angels! I can't recommend Carol Drymon enough and Wind haven. I'm truly grateful for my fur babies and everyone knows because I talk about them constantly. Carol Drymon reaches out regularly to see how they are and was incredibly thorough when we got our first kitten Gigi, answering all my questions with her incredible amount of knowledge and experience,she was even concerned if i mentioned something that might not be good to do. We feed our kittens the same chicken and rice w vitamins and kitten wet food that Carol recommended, she refers to as kitty goop. We refer to it as that as well. Wind Haven Exotics is breeding and selling unhealthy cats. I had a kitten die of FIP and FeLV at 8 months old after only having him for 4 months. I spent a LOT of money trying to save my kitten, but he died within 2 days of going to the emergency vet. Carol Drymon, the owner, said she'd replace the cat but wouldn't cover any expenses for the dead cat or anything for the replacement cat, per policy. But her policy states, "The kitten leaves our cattery, to the best of our knowledge, in a healthy condition. However, in the event that the kitten should be diagnosed with a simple medical problem that can be cured easily, such as colds, skin rashes, etc., this would not qualify for a replacement, nor will we pay for any vet bills." FIP and FeLV are NOT simple medical problems that can be cured easily! We spent over $1000 in medical bills for the kitten that died. For the replacement cat we spent over $200 on a plane ticket, plus we had to pay her via check $40 for a carrier, and $48 for vet papers showing his rabies vax in order to fly. We reluctantly agreed to take him but we didn't know about the positive FeLV until after she had already shipped him. Had I known about the Feline Leukemia too, I would not have agreed to a replacement cat. I had to get a necropsy done for a cause of death for Carol. I have records stating exactly what was found to be wrong with my cat. She was very rude and unprofessional to me, via phone calls and emails, even with vet records proving cause of death. The Wind Haven Exotics website claims, "All of our Kings and Queens are tested periodically for Leukemia and FIV and are certified negative", but when I initially requested records on my dead cat's parents, she refused to provide them. When she finally did, it was over a month after my cat died and the results were for tests that were performed 4 days before she sent me results. The queen and sire had NO PREVIOUS FeLV testing done. When I asked for records from the parents of my replacement kitten, she flat-out refused to provide them. I also took in a 6 year old Savannah breeder cat she had retired. She offered her up on Facebook for JUST the cost of a spay, which she claimed to me via email was $150.00. I requested medical records from her vet, and when I got them in the mail, they stated the cost of the spay was actually only $85.00. When I asked Carol about it, she said she was "offended" I would even question that because her vet was 1.5 hours away and she had to take her there for the spay and I should feel lucky to get such a great deal! A simple Google Maps search said the driving distance between her physical address & the vet she used was 24 minutes. She would not allow us to get her spayed by our own vet either. She pocketed $65 of our money and we would have never known if I didn't request vet records for the cat. We also had to pay for the plane ticket, cat carrier, and proof of rabies vax, all totaling over $300. Initially, she directed us to an old picture of the Savannah that was on her web page. It completely misrepresented the cat's appearance. I requested new pictures a few times over a couple weeks, but it wasn't until after we sent her our $150 she sent a new picture of a cat with ripped up ears. She said the cat got the injuries from forced mating, but she never updated the pictures online. She also initially said the cat was 5, not 6 years old but corrected herself when she sent the updated picture. (Again, this was after we already sent her $150.) She could not produce FeLV testing records at all for this Savannah- I asked for them- but yet she bred it and sold the kittens as "certified negative" for years. Additionally, this cat has had respiratory issues since we got her.  I tried to comment about all of this on Facebook, but Carol deleted my comments. I have received many private messages from others in the same situation. Since my kitten died, multiple people have come forward trying to leave reviews on the Wind Haven Exotics Facebook page saying they had issues with sick and dying cats, but she, or her friends, verbally attacked all reviewers. Then, Carol finally turned off the reviews and comments and deleted any derogatory comments on all of her posts. Also, I posted some cat-related questions about her on another forum I discovered (not Facebook related), and she found out about my post and emailed me and threatened me, wanting me to take it down. She replies to everyone's complaints by stating they are trying to slander her. This is simply not true. I AM A FORMER CUSTOMER OF HERS, not some random reviewer. She has personally told me I'm not the first person (and clearly not the last) to have one of her cats die from FIP.  Buyer beware! What you see on the Wind Haven Exotics page and her Facebook group, In Love With CHEETOHS, is NOT the whole story. In fact, the only thing you'll see on those pages is a handful of carefully cultivated positive posts. read more

Pay attention to the review dates. Several reviews were made all on the same date from people seemingly un-connected. This is a tactic used by scam reviews to bring reviews on a page down. I don't know this for sure, but I am sure it has something to do with animal rights activists that do not approve of breeders. With that said, I HAVE purchased a kitten from Wind Haven. We received our kitten over Christmas and Carol bent over backwards making sure we and the kitten were well cared for. She went out of her way after she learned that we had been scammed by another breeder, gave us files and files of education material on the breed, and went to great lengths to keep our kitten well. Our kitten came to us very socialized and blended right into a family with small children. She even has stayed in contact with our family long after the kitten was not in her care, and is readily available any time we have questions. To further her praise she has created a forum for all her clients to be able to stay in touch and to have questions answered by not only herself, but through a community formed by all her clients. Addressing the breeder argument that many may fight for - I only have this to say: We have a child in our home that is very ill and highly allergic to most animals. She has desired a pet for some time, and through quite a bit of research on our part we found that the cheetoh breed of cat was one of the few pets we could bring home in order to let our child have a pet of their own. If it were not for having the option of a reputable breeder, we would not be able to grant the wish of our child as she is unable to bring home pets from shelters or other means. read more

They were healthy and beautiful, and very sweet and friendly from the moment we picked them up. These cats are extremely good with children and very easy to care for. They are very smart cats and easy to train. We taught them to play catch with a toy mouse. They greet us whenever we come home. They are lap cats and love to be near their owners. They are the best.
