Frankly this is the only place I trust that will take -the best care- of my two small dogs. The owner is very caring, trustworthy and responsible. I have been leaving my two small fur babies pet dogs with her when I leave town, because quite frankly...I have looked around the Laketop-Pinetop- Showlow area for many options for my pets...and I cannot find any other boarding place in the area like them: the staff clearly loves their work, the owner is responsible and trustworthy...and the boarding place is built on a property that is very animal friendly which I am sure the boarding " guests " definitely enjoy while they are there. My dogs truly enjoy going to stay with Debbie Shelton at Triple L. We've been taking our 3 girls to board with Debbie for the past eight years and have never been disappointed with the care they've received. Triple L is an amazing place for anyone's fur babies. We have been using this boarding facility for about three years now and love the place. The new owner has the same passion and commitment to caring for our animals as the previous owner did and their prices are reasonable. We recently had our fur babies stay there and two of them got into a small kerfuffle (as that happens with doggies) and one got a few ouchies on his head. She took such amazing care of him and spent so much extra time with him. She stayed in contact with us and kept us updated as needed. Even though we were still on vacation, we had no worries that he was in good hands. We took our dogs here for a one night sleepover while we went to the Lightning Field in NM. Debbie has a huge property and many animals. While we were dropping off the dogs she was excited to show us some baby goats that were born a week before and told us about her animals and the property. Like Allison said, truly an animal lover. When we came to pick up the dogs she told us what a great time Boomer had with all the other dogs and remarked that she thought he was going to take off because his tail wags in a circle like a helicopter. We have been using Triple L for the past 15 years and Debbie has been the owner for about 5 years. She has improved and expanded the kennels and is an extremely competent and responsible kennel owner. After only one stay, she was totally in tune with our two dogs' personalities. When we pull up they are wagging their tails and go right into the enclosed walkway. Our sociable dog that loves to meet other dogs so she doesn't even stop to watch us go away - she's running up inside to see who she knows. Our other dog is a very spooky dog around new people or other dogs and is difficult to bring into new situations. She loves Debbie and sees her as part of her pack. After the first visit, Debbie remembered which one will eat both dog's food if not watched and which one will eat their bed if left in the kennel all day and which one is scared of lightning. The kennels are heated and they are not sleeping on concrete. Our dogs are not stressed when we pick them up and they are not stressed when we pull up to her place. Having Triple L for our dogs, adds to our relaxation when we travel. read more

I brought my dogs here for the first time for 1 week stay. I was very impressed by the facility and the owners love for animals. This kennel had NO ODOR of animals as most kennels I've been to have. My dogs were well taken care of. I called facility every day to check on them, and the owner Debbie was always available to talk to me. I recommend this kennel to anyone. Deb has been taking care of both my cats and dogs whenever I go vacation. They always come home happy and she even knows their personalities and quirks. More recently, I had to very unexpectedly be hospitalized. Deb's is the only place I could leave my blind, handicapped blue healer and she took care of my other healthy rambunctious rez dog as well. As it turned out, my heeler developed diabetes at the same time I was in hospital. As it turned out I had to trust Deb with both her life and her death. I could not be there myself. It's a hard decision we humans must make, but Deb handled both me and my dog like the compassionate person she is. My dog was well taken care of the whole time and now she is on the other side of the bridge, running free. Thank you Deb. Thank you so very much. read more

My husband and I were both so impressed with the wonderful care that Debbie gave our dogs. Our 15 year old border collie needed extra attention and care and certainly got it! She took care of him as if he was her own dog. She was happy to report as often as we called about his condition and that of our very active puppy. We had accidentally made reservations to board our German Shepherd (Mox) way too far north of Show Low/Sunrise Ski Resort. We were able to make last minute reservations first thing in the morning with Triple L Ranch. The lady was very nice and had a huge property. She had all kinds of birds (peacocks, pheasants, turkeys, etc.) and horses. Truly an animal lover. Triple L has (heated) indoor/outdoor runs. She lets the dogs interact in one of her many yards every 2 hours. She said that if we didn't want our dog interacting with others then she would be able to put him in a large yard of his own. Our dog is social, so we insisted that she him play with the others. This ranch is a little far from Sunrise (maybe 45 minutes), but it worked out well for us. We were able to enjoy our weekend at the mountain and not worry (too much) about Mox. We would definitely go back next time we hit the slopes! :) read more

I had a bad experience there. My regular boarding kennel was booked up. The kennels were dirty and had a horrible smell. Debbie was certainly friendly but was reluctant to show me around. I had to get both of my dogs bathed because of odor. It really is my own fault, I was in a jam and had to board my dogs. The kennels were too small and noisy but I had no choice. read more
