I will no longer go here. One of the ladies working there had some type of allergic reaction to something and her face was all swollen and oozing with puss. She was touching it with her gloves on and pressing on it then proceeded to make coffee and bagels for a customer with that same glove. I'm gagging as I write this. I've been here twice now. I like their bagels and that is all they have going for them. It's not enough for me to go back though. Their service? Much to be desired. The first time I went, I waited almost 10 minutes to be served. This is not because there was a huge line (which now grew to 2 people behind me). It was because there was one person behind the counter and the other person was putting milk in the fridges. I don't know many people who are buying milk right then and there, but as someone who used to work the service industry, the customer always comes first and any busy work is saved for later. The second time I went I was served relatively quickly. Things were starting to turn around. I was in the middle of ordering my bagels to go, when a regular walks in. The girl who is serving me addresses him and then STARTS TO TAKE HIS ORDER IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING MY ORDER. I found this to be one of the most rude customer service experiences I've ever had. I was not in the mood to have it out with someone, but I couldn't believe what was happening. Another person helped complete my order, but I was just flabbergasted that someone would leave a customer hanging in the middle of their order to go and do someone else's. I don't care if they're a regular, you tell that person 'Hey Johnny, I'll be with you in a moment.' All I had left was a pound of cream cheese and a coffee. I used to be a regular of this place but the staff here have truly become awful. It cost me $17 for two egg sandwiches and a drink. These two college kids work here and one was extremely rude. An older customer went to order 8 bagels, the worker thinks he says egg. He says "OK, two everything". The worker grabs 3 egg everything's and the customer says "no, regular everything." So the worker throws one of them on the ground and says "then why didn't you say eight" even though he said 8 two or three times. Then they give him 7 bagels, says "I hope you realize there's 7 bagels in there" and he says "oh I ordered 8". The worker retorts "oh right there's 8" (there was only 7, but they charged him for 8). Then the customer orders 1.5 pounds of cream cheese, the workers throws it onto the counter. He pays, the worker slams the register shut and says "have a nice day" and storms off. Seeing that I don't ever want to come back again. I'll be going somewhere else. read more

When I have a bagel craving this is where I go. They have delicious and fresh bagels (my fav is whole wheat everything with vegetable cream cheese) and an assortment of cream cheeses. They offer breakfast sandwiches and pastries too, but this is strictly my bagel place lol I do get coffee here too though. That also tastes very fresh and they always get my ratio of cream and sugar right. The staff is very friendly, always joking around getting customers to smile and laugh. read more

Their bacon egg and cheeses are always delicious. The place is tiny, but cozy. The booths are a little uncomfortable. The seats at too close to the tables and can't be moved. RUN AWAY ! Very unsanitary. I watched an older women who im guessing is the owner count out the tip jar change with her gloves then proceed to help a customer with the same gloves. Then a young man was behind the counter scratching his arm with gloves that he also proceeded to help a customer. Plus there bagels are horrible and theyre prices are insane read more

Staff is nice and the bagels are good, but hygiene seems to be an issue when I go here. There are often flies around the bagels when the weather is warmer and I have asked more than once for them to change their gloves after handling money and before touching my food. read more

I generously stopped here to give these guys a chance because I know how successful the two other bagel places are not even a mile away. Nothing particularly wrong with it. I didn't encounter the seemingly terrible health problems with this place that everyone else talks about but I will say the bagel I had (egg everything with cream cheese) was mediocre, but definitely not BAD. Poor, unsanitary hygiene. Bagels are good, however the quality of cleanliness kills the fact that the bagels are good. The lady working in the mornings wears a clear glove on one hand however I can't understand why as she uses the same glove to handle food, money, newspapers, etc. Not sanitary, completely ruins your appetite. Her long nails break through the gloves and stick out of it, not to mention god only knows what type of grime is under those nails. On top of it, she takes frequent cigarette breaks, which would be fine if her hands weren't exposed to the food. Don't get me wrong, she's a pleasant person and the review is not a personal attack on the lady, I just don't understand why she bothers to wear a glove when she's touching germy stuff with them, and then grabbing bagels, etc. I will no longer patronize this shop even though their bagels in my opinion are better than the other nearby places. I refuse to feed my children dirty bagels. Management should put an end to the unsanitary ways if they want to remain in business. read more
