No lie this place makes bagels on par with NYC. Perfect texture, taste, and they're large. I always get chicken salad there but my coworkers have gotten egg sandwiches, cold cuts, and tuna and have equally raved. Super friendly people with amazing food! They don't slack on the cream cheese thank goodness! Of course if you go there a little before closing time their bagels aren't going to be as fresh but they're still really good! Oh and this might sound weird but they have a lot of drink options to choose from. They get a lot of sodas and juices and coffees and it's good to have all the options that you wouldn't even have at a restaurant. They have free wifi, but they could stand to do a deep cleaning sometime. I think it's about time throw in some extra cash and replace the ceiling tiles and have a fresh coat of paint on the walls. Absolutely horrible. I wish I drove the extra 5 minutes to get a real egg sandwich on campus. This was the WORST bacon, egg & cheese on a bagel that I've ever had. They microwave your eggs & that was enough for me to be completely turned off. My bagel was super salty and the whole sandwich was so unenjoyable I ended throwing half away. I'm sorry, but i disagree with the other commenters here. I was raised on Staten Island bagels, and these bagels are by far the closest I've found outside of the city to a true New York bagel. So if you're driving down 95 and want to skip the Exit 1 toll in DE, get off at Exit 2 and do yourself a favor, get a toasted ET bagel with plain cream cheese from Bagelmania. It was a bit toasty in there though (not just the bagels) if u know what I mean. They were playing country music on the radio and I felt like they should re-name the place Kentucky Fried Bagel. My everything bagel was more like an EVERYDAY Bagel! Aka delicious! My bfs coffee was not very hot, but we arrived there pretty late in the day. The pizza bagel was delicious. This is an ok place. Didn't live up to my expectations as an independent bagel shop, but better than Dunkin' Donuts. First off, don't order any of the egg sandwiches, they microwave their eggs and everyone knows that's not acceptable in a restaurant. Especially a breakfast centered restaurant. Neither of the workers could tell me what the turkey bacon tastes like as they were vegans. Nothing wrong with vegans, I have many vegetarians and vegan friends but when they worked as servers or chefs they always tasted the food they served (but they worked at upscale places). Otherwise staff was adequately friendly. I would skip the turkey bacon by the way it tasted like cheap dog treats. Now to the main event, I got an everything bagel and it had a decent texture and chew. It's downfall was the chunky salt on the outside. I love salt and this was way too salty, incredibly oversalted. Maybe this was just a random bagel that ended up with all the salt flakes. The bagel otherwise seemed very ordinary. I would have preferred more toughness on the outside like the bakery bagels I prefer. In sum, it's decent but definitely don't go out of your way to go here. read more

Bagels here are a little tough and chewy, they claim fresh made... but I'm thinking fresh made about 10 hours ago, not 3 hours. Inferior quality on just about everything compared to Newark Deli. customer service is everything to me especially when i am spending my hard earned money...on 11/15/2019 i was sitting in my office wanting a bagel so i used google to find a local shop and i came across this location and called them well lets just say first impression is always your last the woman who answered the phone was very fast talking & rude but does not stop there so was the owner...i asked the woman was this such and such on the street that was close to me and she said " no this is bagelmania suburban drive" i said "oh i am sorry i am looking for the one on such and such street" she said " oh well this not it and this ...establishment" in my head i am thinking duh that's why i called she then proceed to sarcastically say "thank you" and disconnected the call...oh i am not finish i called to report it to the manager and he david told me he was the owner so i told him what happen and he told me " i've been in bussiness over 20+ years no that's not how she answers the phone" and by the way he was acting non concerned about the way she spoke to me and him declaring his years of services let me know that i am not the first the pair of rude people have treated this way...so moral of my story is that i will never buy anything from there or support anything they are affliated with read more

After being a customer on and off since the shop opened i will not be returning. The owner insisted that using their "buy 9 and get the tenth sandwich free" coupon book has now led to customers "Taking advantage of them". Very short sighted owner who is obviously frustrated with much more than the coupon book decides to question my integrity over a $4 sandwich and walks away "growling" in frustration. Bagels and cream cheese are delicious and so fresh. I am obsessed with the cinnamon sugar bagel and strawberry cream cheese. The black Russian bagel is different but a very good taste. The staff is always nice and helpful. They also have good combo specials. I want to try their apricot jelly next time which sounds delicious. They also have sandwiches and pizza if you are in the mood for something heartier. read more
