I don't know why I haven't been back in so long. I decided to stop in today for an egg sandwich. I got BEC with hot sauce on an everything bagel. It was so delicious. My fiancé had SECSPK on a seedless roll. He said it was really good. Staff was very friendly this morning (7/11/25 around 830am) too. Service with a smile. Definitely coming here more often and driving the extra few minutes from my apartment to do so.

I saw everything except the baklava so I went to the counter to ask for help and was immediately greeted by the friendliest guy with the nicest smile named Art! The baklava was sitting right on the counter but it was pistachio baklava, not the type made with walnuts that I wanted! Art searched in the back for me and in the frozen section but no walnut baklava, only pistachio! A new shipment wasn't due to be delivered until Thursday, so being a wonderful employee, Art offered me samples of the chocolate covered nuts and raisins that were displayed in the front of the store. I tasted them all and all were so good but the milk chocolate covered almonds were the winner for me! After paying for my almonds, Art took out a little spray bottle he had near the register called Turistik (it has a very fresh lemony scent). Apparently there's a Turkish custom that you shake hands after any transaction and then you spray your hands after with this product to cleanse them. This is absolutely true, I googled it! I may not have found my baklava today but instead I discovered a real gem of a store, learned a Turkish custom, left with a pound of chocolate covered almonds, a bottle of Turistik and I made a new friend named Art. It was a win win for me in every way!

SPARE YOURSELF THE PAIN!!! No stars for the assholes!!! The owner/manager (the old little miserable half bald fat man) of this bagel lovers location is the nastiest, rudest, arrogant, and most incompetent and class-less business owner I've ever encountered in my life. Living in the neighborhood for many years myself and my friends and family religiously visited this bagel place, drawn in only by the quality of the bagel, despite the horrible service we have received over the years. Multiple encounters where our food/orders was purposefully sabotaged by the employee!!!. We have officially boycotted this business. For instance one example: A few years ago my brother ordered an egg sandwich and sat down for breakfast inside of the store. when he took his first bite he began to choke realizing there was a half inch layer of pure SALT. Certainly not at the request of the customer. When he Immediately brought it to the owners attention, the man defended his employee who spitefully ruined my brothers breakfast, showing no remorse for his employees actions. Needless to say the staff over the years has been quite the list of Low society prospects. Example two: Very recently I stopped in to order Two BLT sandwiches to go. I had politely requested for mayo salt-and-pepper. A classic and common request for the BLT sandwich. The owner himself prepared my sandwich in my direct view from behind the counter, I watched him pour excessive mayonnaise on both sides of the bread on both of my sandwiches. I resisted commenting in the moment because I knew his reaction would never be polite. By the time I made it home and unwrapped my sandwiches The mayonnaise was oozing out of the sides as if it were the main and only ingredient. I am slightly disturbed by his efforts to ruin the quality of his own product. I considered returning to the store that day to give him a piece of my mind but it wouldn't change what kind of asshole he really is. If your life choice is to be a bagel maker you should at least be good at it. Instead you deliberately ruin the meal someone paid you for. The only mistake that was made is my own, giving this person my business and my money. I could continue to list stories of the horrible service I have experienced over the years but i don't have the time of day..Just needed to make a quick point and I could guarantee there is a town full of people who feel the same way. Hello, I am really not one to write reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. Today, November 21st 2022, I gave Bagel Lovers of Medford a call, to call in lunch - rye toast, egg whites, avocado, grilled chicken. I'm not sure who I was speaking to on the phone, but he was a bit rude; it sounded like an older gentleman. After that, I had an occurrence, where I had to pick my brother up from the school due to an illness. I was unable to pick up the food. About a half hour later, I received a call, from the same man, and I guess I missed it so he left a voicemail. The voicemail said: "Hi GiAnna, I guess you're not coming to Bagel Lovers, thought you said you knew where it was. So, we made your sandwich for nothing, thanks for that." Honestly, I did take this the wrong way, and again I'm not one to write reviews. I've worked in a deli before, Bagel Express in Sayville, and I do understand, it's frustrating when a customer doesn't pick up their pick-up order. I understand, you spend your time and material on a sandwich that practically goes to waste, and I genuinely apologize. Family is a priority. There really was no need to leave a snarky voicemail. However, it is the employee's job to provide positivity to the customer, and not be rude about it. Whether it's a bad day or something, all part of the job is to provide good customer service. Customers really are the backbone to your business. Things happen, and my brother is more important than a sandwich I was unable to pick up. In my opinion, the voicemail left to me was extremely unprofessional, and again, life happens. Don't worry about sandwiches going to waste again though, because I honestly won't be ordering again. read more

I've been going to bagel lovers for so many years. Staff is very nice and quick. They make sure ur not standing around not being helped. One thing I've been noticing is they have gloves on make your bagel then touch money/change then go back and finish ur bagel or the next persons bagel. In my opinion that's just straight unsanitary. Someone should inform the owner of what's going on. Like take ur gloves off and put on a new one, even if it's just one glove that touches the money! It's not that hard. You no how sick someone/I could get. Yes I love ur bagels but please fix this problem or I'll never go back here again. read more

Stopped by this bagel store today and everything was fresh and delicious. The bagels were perfectly soft inside with a great crunch outside, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Fast service, clean place, and great coffee too. Definitely one of the best spots to grab breakfast! read more
