The staff greeted us warmly and the cozy restaurant makes you feel right at home. Their biscuits are small but tasty, especially when accompanied by their jams and gravies. I love their Sawmill gravy and I'd strongly recommend you add the hashbrown casserole to any breakfast you order. The coffee was fresh and my eggs were cooked perfectly. I look forward to returning!

This is the first time I've been there since all the 'controversy' . This visit was nothing but perfect. Long line / busy but seated in less than 10 min with a warm welcome and smile. Atmosphere was warm , fireplace going , ole' country charm still there. Food came out quick and was great ( I mean CBRL great ... not like this is a Michelin rated restaurant). It was just as it should be. Tried the new hash brown casserole Shepards pie. OMG... this was soooo good. Walked around the store a bit on the way out and got a nice gift for someone back home. CBRL is and always will be a staple to stop along the highway.... Or up the street in a neighborhood near you. The media would have you believe that this place is dead.
